We ordered a simple meal . Seafood gumbo and shrimp poorboy. The food came and I ask for hot sauce. The waitress desired to wait on another table while me gumbo was getting cold. It finally came. The shrimp poor boy was pre cooked shrimp and cold fries. The gumbo was so salty it burned my lips. The gumbo was mushy from being held for a long period. The waitress brought the wrong check. while waiting for the check the waitress desired to bring fresh drinks instead of the bill. All the items for the sandwich did not come with the meal. My family & I did not have a good experience at this location. We had to ask for our appetizer, the waiter walked pass us to the next booth and asked how they were doing while our drinks needed to be refilled and then had to ask for our refill. Then my daughter found hair in her food and had to have the dish remade, and no one offered to comp the meal for the inconvenience. We had a hurricane in Houston Texas on Monday Razzoo's was the only place open to get food I ordered food online Monday night they told me food will be ready at 9:30pm I get there food was not ready my food was not ready until 10:05pm than I check my food and didn't have all of my food when I went back to speak with a manager I was told they ran out of food. I was told they would refund me my money, and I have not received my money yet. Every time I call them its a different story this is not my first eating there, but it will be my last. read more

We came to celebrate my birthday tonight. And it was a disaster. Let's start at the service. We sat down and waited for about 15-20 minutes before someone came. Once she came she and took our drinks and appetizers... the lemonades we all order were made at the bar... the appetizers came out before our drinks.... We waited 30 minutes for drinks. I had to get up and go to the bar. And ask for our lemonades. He then proceeded to ask what drinks did yall order? I guess they were never put in. Finally she comes back. We order our food. That took forever. No need for me to put a time just know 30 min or more. Food comes sides are wrong. Asked for her to fix it. She said yes NEVER came back with my rice. On top of that we kept seeing the staff stare out the window. Turns out... after a CRAPY birthday dinner we walk outside to our car broken in at the front of the restaurant. The manager looks me dead in my face and says "yeah it happened like 45 minutes ago we were waiting to see who car it was" I said oh wow so maybe our service was so crappy because everyone was too worried about a break in and not their tables. On top of that it was only a few families in there. It was SUPER SLOW. Only a few tables. Why wouldn't the manager go ask the few 5 tables that was there if that was their vehicle. It was a slow night. It was terrible service. I will never come back again. And I was already too upset at the crap service to even car about the car getting broken into. Ok. So please do not take the three stars as a bad rating. It was a long night. My family and I were very hungry and we needed to eat in a hurry because we had somewhere to be in about 2 hours. I chose the restaurant just because I remembered it was by Panera, and I didn't want Panera. I didn't know the style of the restaurant, as in the food that they served. I'm allergic to shellfish. WAMP WAMP. And the restaurant is heavy on the shellfish side of seafood. I was catered to once I told them that I had a shellfish allergy. I carry an EpiPen with me at all times because I've been hospitalized and gone into anaphylaxis before. No need to EVER repeat that again. The three stars is simply because I couldn't stay inside the restaurant. I was having such a bad reaction to the air inside the restaurant I had to go sit inside the car. No fault to anyone who worked there. Both the kitchen manager came out and spoke to me and the restaurant manager spoke to me. Before the reaction happened and explained the menu. I know it's getting towards the end of crawfish season but the crawfish were tough & the shrimp were overcooked. I had some speciality drink which literally tasted like nothing. i'm so mad that my mom & I even came. such a waste of $$$! & the speciality drink had rum in it, which is my favorite but it literally tasted like NOTHING. we could've kept our money. the gumbo was okay & so was our server. Seated in the bar area...and when I took hold of my chair to scoot closer to the table I got a handful of NASTY from the bottom. No napkins to be found. The bartender came to take our drink order and when I asked for something to clean the grossness she hands me a bottle of sanitizer???? So I could spread the nastiness to my OTHER HAND???? This spot was great. When I was in Dallas a few weeks ago my sister wanted to go to Razzoo's and I told her no that I wanted to go somewhere else so we did. Well three weeks later my daughter suggested Razzoo's in Spring Texas so I'm like let's see what's all the hype is about. Walked in the girls greeted us with masks on and the restaurant have sanitizer stations located throughout the restaurant that was really nice to see as well as they are practicing social distancing I had to throw that in first and foremost. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu I was undecided between two item I asked him questions about both and his suggestion of the two. I ordered the swamp thing for my drink it was pretty good but I do have my eyes on another particular drink when I return, yes I will be returning. I ordered the stuff shrimp with dirty rice and it came with greens beans. I do like green beans but those I didn't particularly like but my stuff shrimps was OMG!!! They were goodt, goodt yes I know I spelled it differently but I wanted to emphasize that they were that good, they were well seasoned and very flavorful the dirty rice wasn't like we make in Louisiana but my skillet was cleaned. Loved the menu. All your favorite New Orleans and Lafayette treats- and yet nothing like what you expect. Ordered broiled oysters, fried gator, wings, "rat toes" (those were actually good), and "new orleans style cracklin". Where to begin? Oysters- dont expect acme ouster house style here. They were practically raw. Not very broiled. First one I ate I barely could swallow. Having never had a bad oyster, i swallowed it. Tasted like strong strong spoiled fish. My friend tried one and didnt seem to notice that but didnt like the rawness. So I ate another which confirmed the first one was unusually bad. The next one I ate seemed halfway decent but not like the first. Then my friend got a bad one and spit it out. The french bread was not crisp it was directly under the oyster shells saking in garlic flavored imitation butter. The manager apparently hasnt had the dish in its home town bc he was surprised that soaked bread isnt how its traditionally served. He was confused that the oysters sold all day without a complaint, but obligingly removed them from the bill. Boudain balls taste nothing like the real thing. The rice hadnt broken down at all. Next the gator. Served atop rather ordinary fries that were a little undercooked the gator looked good but just had nothing special about the flavor. The cracklin was not like the fresh kind you get in NOLA that has the little chunks of meat attached- just ordinary cracklin but the cheese dip they serve it with was tasty. The rat toes were the highlight, and ironically the one thing i havent seen in NOLA. Crab stuffing inside a battered jalapeno half. They were really good. The atmosphere is fun and friendly. The bar staff was great. We ordered a Swamp thing frozen margarita that was pretty with mardi gras beads and swirled colors. *First time customer* Not going to lie, after reading the reviews and seeing that a guest had an issue with an allergy I was super hesitant to visit. Not a typical anniversary spot, but husband and I figured what the heck. Even taking the risk that we'd land in the hospital due to my serve tomato allergy. We were seated right away.
