My wife and i have a standing lunch date each and every Thursday. We're always seeking out new restaurants to dine at. For this Thursday's lunch we headed over to Razzoo's! It's always a party atmosphere at Razzoo's. My wife isn't real crazy about fish and seafood but I assured her there would be come chicken dishes on the menu. Razzoo's has an abbreviated lunch menu with a nice selection of entrees. My wife ordered the Grilled Chicken Etoufee and I the Jalapeno Chicken. Both of our entrees came with rice, my wife's with a dirty rice and mine with rice. Both of our entrees were really good. In my opinion my wife's etoufee was better than my Jalapeno Chicken. Her roux was awesome, thick and spicy. Both of our entrees came with a tasty piece of garlic bread. We'll definitely have to return again real soon and try some of the additional menu items. I always like going to Razzoo's. Their food is quite tasty, and the price is reasonable. Unfortunately the closest Razzoo's from my work place was about half an hour away in downtown Ft. Worth. I was ecstatic when I found out that they had opened up a Razzoo's just a few minutes away from my work place. This particular Razzoo's is bigger than the ones I have been to. It looks nice and clean, and the food, as usual, was really good. I had the Boudin, which was simple but tasty. I also had the Mud Sundae, which was simply awesome (two people who had lunch with me also agreed). We also shared some Rat Toes (shrimp and crab stuffed jalapenos), which tasted good too. My sister had the seafood gumbo, which I really like, and it didn't disappoint on this occasion. The only reason why I gave this review a four star and not a five, is because of the service. Al though the servers were really friendly, our food took a good 20 mins to be prepared, even though we had called in our order from before (add another ten minutes or so). Hey Foodies!!!!! All I can say about this place is they make every DISH THER OWN!!! I love Razzoo's !! There is nothing on the menu that I have eaten that I regret. Today I had the fish with the Jalapeno cheese sauce on top of it with the beans and rice. It was a party in my mouth. Finger licking GOOOOOOOOOD. I ended up at this location because I was working a promotion. My co worker had never been before so I could not let keep going through life with out having the opportunity to be Dazzled by Razzoo's. We had a party of 9. They originally would not seat us cause they only allow 8 per table. The manager agreed to sit us, but mentioned a service charge of 18% just to seat us. After talking to the manager and letting him know that we were technically 2 separate paying parties so can we have 2 tables next to each other? (1 party of 5 and 1 of 4) He said, "Yeah, either way works " I guess I was wrong to assume, but that sounds to me like we could sit as 2 separate parties at 2 separate tables to avoid the service charge. (Which we did) Waitress brought out our check with an 18% service charge. Not her fault, all corporate, but please know that it is an additional charge. $16 extra on bill 1 of 2 just to sit at the table y'all. RIDICULOUS! read more

I came in alone and was seated right away and greeted by the host immediately. My server did a great job, he (it was about two weeks ago can't remember his name, maybe Ethan?) checked up on me and made sure I was doing good and he suggested the dessert that was AMAZING (pecan bread pudding) or something.... it's made daily and served warm, it also had some peach filling but it was super good! We order to go. This is not any type of fancy seafood. But the flavors are great and the cost is low so we choose this over Pappadeaux's every time! Are usually get the stuffed tilapia or the Cajun Tricky fish. My husband gets the stuffed shrimp. We almost always order a starter of the rat toes. Came here on 7/24/18 on a Tuesday around 3pm. Walked in and was promptly greeted by a hostess and sat down in a booth. We weren't informed on any drink specials. Menus felt sticky. The main thing that grossed me out was that when I went to unfold my silverware the white cloth was already dirty so I was already skeptical about dining here. Then when I looked at my silverware it was clearly dirty with leftover crust from food left on it. So after seeing all that I ask the server for new silverware, and he just grabs it from another table. That made me a little bit skeptical, because now I'm thinking all of the silverware is dirty so I had to clean it for myself. There's some things this place really needs to work on and that is the cleanliness of serving guests with clean utensils and menus. Food arrives: This was my first meal of the day so I was hungry. I ordered the blackened catfish. Not really many complaints, just that the rice was dry but the sauce that came with the catfish balanced it out. Overall this place is very mediocre. And if you dine here make sure you're using clean utensils. Wouldn't recommend this place. read more

We got the fondue appetizer, which was creamy, cheesy, and perfect with some garlic bread. The environment in Razzoo's is always fun and chill. I had the stuffed shrimp, which had a creamy Cajun sauce over it. The Cajun sauce was really good over the rice! All their food seem to be very flavorful. In my opinion, there's not much of a selection, mostly fish, shrimp, and chicken. But I guess that's what's expected from Cajun so there's not much to complain about! read more

I had a pretty bad experience at this location and am not likely to go to Razzoo's again. After my son's graduation, he asked if we could all go to Razzoo's. I called ahead and asked if we could reserve a table for a party of 9. I was very clear about how many people I had in the party, and what I was requesting. I was told that there was no wait at the time and that they would be able to seat us. When we got there I was told that the restaurant policy disallowed them from seating parties larger than 8. Ok, so I asked if we could split the party into one party of 4 and one party of 5, both seated wherever was available if that was more convenient for the staff. In other words, 2 completely separate parties. I was told, "No, since we know you were originally wanting to be a party of 9, we can't seat any of you even if you are broken up at different tables. I'm so sorry, it's our policy." Rather than starting an argument, we just left. The food here is not bad, not great, but a nice departure from most chain restaurant offerings. And I am not one to go out of my way to take time to give bad reviews. read more

You guys, I really do love Razzoo's! Not only is it just colorful and carefree and fun with friendly service, but they have a gluten free menu. That's pretty rare at any Cajun place. I'm a big fan of the Andouille sausage with red beans and rice, as well as the shrimp cocktail, oysters, blackened fish, and crawfish when it's in season. I really appreciate a Cajun place offering gluten free selections because I love Cajun food and rarely get to indulge. Razzoo's is the kind of restaurant where you want to indulge! Decent food at a decent price. I have a love-hate relationship with Razzoos. The food is always...good, but it is never more than that, and this visit to this location was exactly that. We were seated immediately as we came in right before dinner, around 4-5 pm on a Sunday. We ordered quickly and I opted for the half platter since Razzoos typically has quite large servings. I got the stuffed shrimp with corn on the cob (see image). I also opted for no spice on top of my food, which they tend to drench on everything. In-laws are in town and enjoy eating Razzoo's. Went there today and there are 7 of us. The manager said their corporate policy is to restrict parties to 6. Ok - so sit us at two tables nearby-Distanced is fine. No -the manager went out of her way to spread us out and put us at opposite ends of the restaurant to discourage us from getting up and mingling with our own family. We couldn't even see them and forced two checks. THIS IS STUPIDITY!! Will not be dining at Razzoo's again until you get your heads out of your arses. We stumbled upon it after being turned around at Red Robins, and lets say we were happy that we found the well lit restaurant in the corner/cut of the plaza. Omg! We had the best time here and our waitress was great. We were told that we would have a 20min wait, but it was less than 10mins. Their drinks were sooo good! My husband has a higher liquor tolerance than I have so he had 3 different drinks and i had the hurricane magarita. Everything was reasonably priced and tasteful. I had the fried seafood platter ( many many crawfish tail, two big catfish filets, shrimp, and lots of fries) and it was more than enough! The proportions are so generous. Two stars only because what I DID get tasted good. However, I paid for a half Jaws plate and paid the full price only to have some of the items missing from my order. No oysters, no alligator, and the shrimp was smaller than the crawfish tails, I kid you not. I brought this up to the waitress and they said they overlooked the gator. I asked about the oysters and was told the plate didn't come with oysters because of COVID. I'm not sure what that had to do with anything, because I found several restaurants in the area that had some fine oysters. I used to go here a lot, but after the sad excuse and then not having a reduced price, considering my plate was missing items, "due to COVID", I'll take my Cajun cravings to Boo Ray's instead.
