Our waitress introduced herself but that's where it all ended. Our food took forever. When she finally brought it out she set it down and left. Never got refills. Never asked how it was . One meal was good but mine came out Luke warm and it was in a skillet! When we were through eating she brings my husband another water and just takes the dishes away. I stopped by and got the jambalaya pasta without the cheese. First, I wasn't greeted and the young lady at the to-go station wasn't friendly. The order came out with cheese on it. The guy knew cheese was on it he saw me reenter and ran back to the kitchen. The young lady then comes over to see why I was back. I opened the lid and pointed out the cheese on the pasta. She said, " I'll take care of it!" and walked away. Usually, servers with good customer service skills would apologize! I don't think I'll return there again. The meal still wasn't prepared correctly, had 1 item in a cup for me to put in the pasta. ! The bad part is the guy may have been a manager. He handed me the food in a container, never placed it in a bag like the first time! FYI: Always offer water to customers waiting at the bar, it's common courtesy! Train these guys! What an incredible eating experience for Mother's Day, 2019! While I usually take my littles to the Pie Five next door (usually for them to enjoy the kid's park that is between both restaurants), the five of us tried Razzoo's on a whim. The wait time was 45 minutes for an outdoor seat (I didn't mind, due to it being Mother's Day), so I let the littles play in the park. Razzoo's has the system where they will text you when seating is available. Outdoor seating on the patio closest to the park was lively! Listening to the New Orleans-style Zydeco music & other jazz pieces play at a good decibel got you in the Bourbon Street sort of vibe almost right away. Our young, red-haired server (she admitted that she was new) was absolutely spot on when it came to her promptness, and honesty in indicating that she hadn't tried certain entrees or appetizers yet. Nonetheless, the food was pretty good. She had the shrimp & grits with bread, while I had jambalaya pasta. The jambalaya had the perfect andouille sausage-to-shrimp & chicken ratio, in addition to carefully sliced peppers and onions prepared. The sauce for the rest of the entree was seasoned perfectly! Throw in a mixed peach cocktail served in a mason jar (I had a tall IPA draft brew), you are having a really good time. The littles had chicken fingers & fries, with plenty of ketchup. The total bill came to $91 after tip (meal before taxes was $76 for two adults and three children. I absolutely appreciated the extra courtesy given by our server when it came to the children- it made a difference in the evening . Hence the 5th star within this rating, due to her giving the extra effort. I enjoy coming to Razzoo's with my friends for good food, a fun drink served in a fish bowl, and a great time! I've been here a few times now and definitely prefer this location over the downtown one. They have a great outdoor patio eating area in the front and another one on the side. There's a little playground adjacent to the side patio where the kids can work off some energy. There's always a manager walking around here checking up on you, which I think is awesome. My favorite dish to get is the Cajun combo skillet. It consists of crawfish etoufee over dirty rice, shrimp creole, red beans and rice, andouille sausage, and corn on the cob. It comes out in a legit full sized cast iron skillet and I'm not ashamed to say that I may have possibly definitely finished it all by myself before :)) They are known for their gator punch served in a fish bowl. It's a fun presentation and the drink is delicious! The Bourbon St Mule is another drink that I enjoy. I'm a new fan to ginger beer and find this drink very refreshing. They have a few really good appetizers including the Cajun fondue which is on their happy hour menu. I really like their bread pudding as well. It has peaches in it and is topped with chopped pecans and a yummy rum sauce. This location is situated in the busy Alliance Town Center. There's plenty of shopping, dining including dessert places, and Cinemark movie theater nearby. It's a great place to spend the day walking around. I like the accessibility of this location. Ordered: -rat toes: super salty jalapeño poppers with Cajun filling and fried -crawfish etoufee: really flavorful rice with generous portions of crawfish. I know others have said it, but I'm going to say it, if I could rate 0 stars, I would. The recent experience with Razzoo's has been truly disappointing. On Sunday, 11/20/22, my daughter and her friends dined at the Downtown Fort Worth location to celebrate a birthday. A group of 9, with no one over 19 years old (the birthday girl). They brought their own cake to the restaurant, which the restaurant agreed to hold in the kitchen until after they finished their dinner. When the waitress brought the cake to the table, she accidentally dropped the entire cake, which fell down the back of one of the girls at the table. The cake and the girl's jacket were completely ruined. Mistakes happen. We understand that. However, I think the manner the situation was handled was not nearly compensatory to the girls for their loss. They were offered and accepted a complimentary dessert, which is fine and a nice gesture considering their dessert was ruined. The issue we ultimately had with this situation is my daughter and her friends are inexperienced to handle a situation like this, and whether intentional or unintentional, I believe they were taken advantage of because they just went along with what the employees at the restaurant said/did even if they did not agree. Personally, I do not believe this situation would have been handled the same if the guests were older than the group at this table. The next day, the girl, whose jacket the cake fell on, was able to assess the damage to her jacket and the cake would not come out of it, so it was completely ruined. The experience was completely ruined at that point of the night in the following ways: 1) They paid over $40 for the cake that was ruined - never tasted 2) They never got to take any pictures with the cake and the birthday girl (the only person from the group who even got to see the cake, was the girl who picked it up on the way to dinner - not even the birthday girl got to see the cake) 3) They felt "forced" to accept the dessert because nothing else was being done or offered in a situation they know they should not have had to experience 4) They were charged a gratuity for a "large party" with no offer to remove the gratuity, considering the experience 5) The jacket was completely ruined I spoke with Kevin (restaurant manager)and Nicole (genera manager) from this location, while both very nice over the phone; they expressed that they have no real authority to make decisions in this situation. Nicole gave me the number of the person she spoke with above her, which presumably is also the person who said nothing more would be done about this situation, so I didn't bother calling her. However, I did write to their corporate email, but it has been 7 days and no response, so I am going to take their silence as unwillingness to address this very disappointing and expensive experience. We have a party of young adults who are in their first year of junior college and work part-time or are unemployed, meaning spending $40 on a cake and going out to eat dinner is a big deal for them financially. They do not have extra funds to waste or to brush off. With education, transportation, and other expenses, this night was a treat for them to be able to go out and have dinner as a group together. I definitely would NOT recommend this Razzoo's location or Razzoo's as a company given how they handled this situation. Many people celebrate special events in restaurants and at this one if a mistake is made they are not willing to take an acceptable level of accountability to restore their customer's goodwill. read more

We returned for dinner with our 1 year old daughter. The staff again was so friendly and greeted us as soon as we walked in. There was a short wait because our table needed to be cleaned which we did not mind waiting at all. As soon as we sat down our server quickly greeted us and provided us with our drink order. I was really disappointed in this visit. I brought someone from out of town because I had such a great time at the Plano location. The drinks were strong and tasted great. That night, Skyler in my opinion was helpful and really made an effort. I ordered the Fish Aye Ee and it was really good. The temperature was hot, fresh & great flavor. I also ordered a Peach Mambo. It would have been great had it not been watered down. The service was very slow. It seemed to take longer than usual for the appetizer and the meals. My wife and I had a very good experience at Razzoos. Our 1st experience was with the Razzoos in downtown Fort Worth, so we were happy to try this one which is much more local to us. We sat at the bar and immediately struck up a conversation with one of the bartenders. The entire team did a great job ensuring that we had enough food and drinks during our entire stay. One of the bartenders even told me about a secret item on the menu!!! Thats what I ordered!! It was amazing! Sadly I can't remember what it was called..............Hopefully they remember me next time so I can say, hey...that secret item on the menu...is it still there? :0) Anyway, the food came out quickly and was delicious. That being said, it's very surprising that there is a bartender that lets his customer's know how much he dislikes it and wont promote it because (according to him) he makes less money. How selfish is that? I suppose he dosent realize that it puts people in the seats. I am surprised that he would share that with a customer. We'll be back when he isnt on duty. Razzoo's is the bomb dot com! This place is very comparable to Pappaduex, but more affordable! It has a family-friendly environment, but yet also a nice touch for adults. I love the decorations here and the whole atmosphere is just very inviting. I was here yesterday around 2 PM for my nephew's birthday and had a very nice experience. Staff were very welcoming and provided excellent customer service. Courtney was our server and she was awesome. Our friends ordered a few appetizers that we got to try. We tried the boudin balls, fried gator, and rat toes (fried jalapenos stuffed with some meat). All of the appetizers came out hot, fresh, and everything was well-seasoned. Nothing was bland at all. The rat toes were my favorite. Super crunchy, juicy, and explodes in your mouth with flavor with each and every bite. The fried gator could've been more tender though. The wife and I snacked before we came so we weren't extremely hungry. We decided to share the fried seafood basket combo ($17). The food came out a little slow, but was super hot and fresh when it arrived. Definitely made to order and worth the wait! The portions here are HUGE! It came with fried catfish, fried shrimp, hush puppies, fried crawfish tails, and your choice of coleslaw or corn. Everything was super crispy, well-seasoned, and not oily/greasy. They split the portion up for us since we told them we were sharing and man oh man, I can't imagine trying to finish this on your own! You definitely get a bang for your buck here. My wife and i have a standing lunch date each and every Thursday. We're always seeking out new restaurants to dine at. For this Thursday's lunch we headed over to Razzoo's! It's always a party atmosphere at Razzoo's. My wife isn't real crazy about fish and seafood but I assured her there would be come chicken dishes on the menu. Razzoo's has an abbreviated lunch menu with a nice selection of entrees. My wife ordered the Grilled Chicken Etoufee and I the Jalapeno Chicken. Both of our entrees came with rice, my wife's with a dirty rice and mine with rice. Both of our entrees were really good. In my opinion my wife's etoufee was better than my Jalapeno Chicken. Her roux was awesome, thick and spicy. Both of our entrees came with a tasty piece of garlic bread. We'll definitely have to return again real soon and try some of the additional menu items.
