When I called back to confirm the cancellation, the person on the other end chose to blame her AI system, then the call service... not an apology, not trying to rectify it... just a 3 day late appointment and an attitude. 2 stars because people on the phone were very nice... but it would have been great if they kept an appointment or their word on the phone in 85 degree weather. For reference, here is my experience: - booked appointment last night due to the emergency nature, agreed to pay additional cost for a service call - right after, I received a confirmation email - considering how everyone else in this business seems to see appointments as suggestions, I decided to call in and confirm just to be sure at noon (apt from noon to 4). - person on the phone who was great told me that he saw the appointment but there wasn't anyone assigned to it. He said he couldnt do much but he would call dispatch urgently and then get right back to me. - an hour later (25% of the appointment window), I hadent heard back so I called back again. - the weekend scheduler (who was very nice) was unable to see anything or transfer me to anyone else. So on a long weekend, 85 degree weather, air conditioning out and set an appointment with $170 weekend service charge (give or take) scheduled, we didnt call anyone else assuming that this company kept its appointments. I needed a part ordered as quickly as possible for family coming in from oujt of town. THe furnace problem was diagnosed on a Friday and by Monday, their office called in early to have the part installed nefore my family arrived. Josh, the technician was kn owledgable and extremely thorough in figuring out the issue with the furnace, M onica and Trisha at the front desk kept me apprised of when the part might come in and made sure that it was installed on the very Monday my family arrived. THe installation wnent smoothly, it was explained clearly and eveyone involved made an upsetting situation go smoothly. The owner, David, came out first thing the next day to go over my options. By that afternoon, his son and their crew had the old furnace out and the new one in and heating the house (the picture shows our temporary set up - they're coming back next week to finish the metal covering). "Temporary" part still installed on our heating system.. realized tonight it's been several weeks and no communication. While standing at the kitchen sink tonight- notice the heating was blowing cool. Will be calling them (after paying $300 for service call - told this would cover the replacement part we need, once ordered) tomorrow. Will not request service from this company in the future. They actually ended up coming even earlier than promised, and the technician was super friendly and knowledgable. He quickly diagnosed and solved the very simple issue (flame sensor was corroded and not working) and was in and out in less than an hour. The service call was affordable and the part too; overall the invoice was extremely reasonable and actually way less than I anticipated it being. I am so grateful for the quick, friendly, and honest service and taking care of my parents with urgency! This should be your first call if you have HVAC issues in their service area.
