I recently requested Real Appliance Repair to come out to look at a refrigerator. This was going to be a second opinion on a 3 year old unit that had stopped cooling. The first guy had quoted $1200 for the repair. Real Appliance Repair looked at the refrigerator and quoted $200 less but also pointed out that while the refrigerator itself only had a 1 year warranty, the compressor causing the issue might still be covered. He suggested I call LG before doing anything else. I called and the compressor was under warranty with parts and labor fully covered! Not only was the quote $200 less than the original company, Real Appliance Repair pointed me in the direction that will get things repaired at no cost to me. Literally saved me $1000! Not sure why my experience was so different from most on here, but our experience was certainly negative. When I asked the technician to honor the $35 discount ($5 off for booking online, $30 off for new customer, as clearly stated on the website), he took offense said "no" because he was already working for his minimum price ($155 for less than 1.5 hrs labor, no materials required). After some uncomfortable back and forth, he literally pulled up the value of our house on his phone, pointed and said "Is this your house" while pointing to the value - this was his argument against giving us the stated discount. Very inappropriate and frankly hard to believe. After more back and forth, he finally agreed to $30 off. Neither of us were happy when he left. Only one of two of our washing machine problems was fixed (and machine at least seems operable); if we wanted the other problem fixed it would be $345 (no materials, just labor). He would have had to come back for that repair because he didn't have time today. We opted to pass and will use another company for the additional fix. read more

Could not have been better. Repairman was on time, discovered the clothes washer problem in just a few minutes. Left to pick up item needed and in about 45 minutes was back. Installed it in 20 minutes and had the washer humming along in no time. Very curtious, friendly, and easy to talk to. The charge was very moderate, less that I had expected. I couldn't believe the customer service of this company. I requested a quote for a washing machine repair last night after 8pm, they responded within 5 minutes. We quickly set up a time for them to come out today. I received a few text messages from them telling me that Max would be on his way. Sure enough, Max showed up when he was supposed to. He was friendly from the start and diagnosed the problem quickly. He fixed the problem within 30 minutes. He showed me what he was doing as to educate me. I will be using this company from hereon. I have a brand new Samsung range that a rat got into (talk about a cluster of bad luck) and shorted out the burners and oven. The Samsung "so-called" official service guy I had to wait a week for said we needed a whole new wiring system, that it wasn't covered by warranty since it was caused by pests, and he packed his bag and went on his merry way. After calling several other appliance companies, Real Appliance was the only one who could come out today and whose service fee was the most reasonable. Thinking I was going to have to shell out hundreds to get things fixed, the Koss was able to repair the areas that had been damaged with no problem. Yes, it was more than I wanted to pay, but hell yeah it was well within reason, fixed on the spot, and he couldn't have been nicer. read more

Considering that I contacted many companies and couldn't get anyone else to call me back, 5 stars for being responsive! Tech, Demetrii, came out exactly when he said he would, respectfully wore a mask, and was able to fix the issue with refrigerator. It was a pretty big job and fortunately he had part with him to replace. Gives a 3 month warranty on the work. Price was right. I'll call them again. PS - Fridgidaire is NOT recommended. If I could give this business 10 stars I would. I contacted them at 4am through yelp and had an appointment booked same day first thing in the morning at 8am. The appointment set up was easy and they notified me who would be assigned to arrive. Punctual. Dmitri helped me with my dryer. It needed a fuse replaced. He worked with my budget and offered compassion when I was stressed out about being sold a non operational dryer by a non affiliated seller. I will be sure to refer business! I sent out multiple requests for dryer repair through yelp, this business responded within minutes on a Saturday. They worked around my schedule and came through for me. My dryer went out and was not spinning. The tech arrived on time and sent me a text message when he was 10 minutes away to allow time for me to put my doggies in my kids rooms. YAY!! He was sweet, hard working and diagnosed the dryer problem right away. The price was reasonable, he had to pick up 2 parts and let me know he would be back today (Monday) to finish the job. He arrived right on time yet again. He did an amazing job! I feel great calling this company, very happy and satisfied customer. Give them a chance they will reach out and fix your issue. Great Experience! We needed the filter cleaned on our washer and unfortunately it was behind the front panel so it wasn't something I could do. Scheduling was quick and easy, the Technician called when he was on his way and he arrived a few minutes prior to the scheduled time. Took about an hour, he cleaned the filter ran diagnostics and cleared the history on the control unit. I'm very pleased with the service and it was done at a reasonable price. BUT even though I'd given them my exact model number... and diagnosed and told them exactly what I thought was wrong with it (and was correct BTW) ... they came out, didn't have the right part and said it would take another 4-5 days to come back to fix. Real Appliance Repair replaced the water pump on my Bosch dishwasher in June. They have a 90 day warranty on their work. About 5 days before the warranty ran out my dishwasher stopped working. I have no idea whether the two issues are connected. When I called them I fully expected to be told the issues were unrelated and that I would have to pay for the second repair. After working on the dishwasher for two hours, the repair man told me that the issue was a leaking hose, but since it was inside of the warranty period there would be no charge! I was shocked at that level of service. I will DEFINITELY use Real Appliance repair again because I know the job will be done correctly. read more
