This place is absolutely delicious :) the service is great and the boba tea is even better! We didn't have any Pho but I bet its really good. We got the combination Pad Thai and combination fried noodles. The Pad Thai was filling for sure! Unfortunately the limes that came with the meal were dried out lol but I didn't need them since it was delicious. The Combination Fried Rice came two different ways: fried & stir fry. The fried one came looking like a birds nest of deliciousness :) We were both VERY pleased with our meal choices. We also got Thai Tea and Passion Fruit boba tea. They were both phenomenal! SUPER YUMMY! I'm addicted to this passion fruit boba tea. The bobas were a little smooshy, I like mine firm and chewy. Strip mall pho done well. Every thing was very good. Flavors were right on target. The egg rolls were crunchy, hot and not greasy at all. The fish sauce could have had a bit more flavor, but complimented the rolls nicely. The Pho was great, ranking up there with the best. There was only one waitress working, so the orders took longer than I'm accustomed to however. That was the one thing which disappointed me. All in all , very good. read more

Omg I can't believe it took me this long to try pho!!!! The staff was friendly and the place was nice, quiet, and clean. Since this was our first time of course we didn't know what to order, and the waitress was helpful in explaining what the differences were between the meats, and we could understand her lol. I had the round eye steak pho, the broth had so much flavor and the meat was so tender, I still added more cilantro, sprouts, lime, housin sauce and chili sauce just to give it more flavor. I'm in love with pho now lol. We also had rolls which I'm still a little confused on what they are called. On the menu it says srping rolls but the guy said summer rolls, it was noodles with lettuce I think, pork and shrimp in a wax roll, and they give you a peanut dipping sauce. Whatever they are called they were so freakin good with the dip. My boyfriend and my friend didn't really care for it but they don't like noodles or soups with noodles. I hate writing bad reviews for small businesses, but I went today for the first time and was not impressed. I walked in to place a to-go order and picked 4 things to try. I was a little confused when she gave me the total because it's not what I had added up in my head. I asked her if the prices were accurate, and she said no. She then flipped the menu to the front, where it stated that. The menu was presented to me opened so I didn't see that. I understand pricing changes to market costs, but it's not good business to not have them updated anywhere. After 20+ minutes I got my food and it was not anything special. They use dark meat chicken (not a deal breaker, just mentioning), and all of the meat was tough and overcooked. I am hoping it was just an off day, but the empty dining room suggests otherwise. The bathrooms were also not clean, which always makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like. Everyone was nice, but it definitely wasn't worth it to me. read more

We got a few things from here. Let me remember ok kids sweet and sour chicken, grilled pork chops (mother in law eats pork), chicken pho and combination pho. The sweet and sour chicken my son didn't finish eating and didn't really care for it. I agree with him, after tasting some there was a weird after taste. Not a good look. The grilled pork chop, the only complaint was that the pork chops were too thin. She didn't really say anything about the taste. The Pho's. Ok we ordered them both spicy and it wasn't spicy at all. Now just to be clear we are well traveled and have tasted tons of Pho. And that's what we compared it too. It did have ok flavor. The Mrs. says her pho wasn't seasoned enough. The broth needed more! For me I needed it to have more flavor and spicy. We did like the amount of food that was given. Oh and I ordered my combination pho without tripe. And it was full of tripe. So I had to pick it out as I was eating. Also we love Thai ice tea. Well in California we went to Al Pho and ate there often. Great place. Well their Thai ice tea was only $2.95 and delicious. But their tea was $5.75....and the cups were smaller. Returning to this location is up in the air. read more

I really, really, really wanted this place's pho to be awesome but unfortunately it was not. For me, one of the best signs that a pho restaurant is serving up some delicious pho is the smell. I should be able to smell the soup from outside the front door and definitely once I enter the place. Sadly, this was not the case a Pho Real. In fact, I was hard pressed to smell the soup when I stuck my shnoz in the bowl! I had the steak and brisket pho and my wife the seafood pho. She agreed that the soup was lacking in flavor. Additionally, she found the squid in her pho to be quite tough. The shrimp and the fish cake were good, she said. The steak and brisket pho was just ok. The meat was shaved thin and as such, was very tender. But again, no depth of flavor whatsoever. I added some spice chilis and some siracha and that brought out a bit of flavor. In addition to our pho, we had their summer rolls. This proved to be the highlight of the meal. The rice paper wasn't at all tough like many I've had. The peanut sauce was thick and flavorful. Pho Real has a lunch and dinner specials but the sets are Chinese, not Vietnamese. There are a few fried rice options on there as well. The dinner specials will run you around $10-12 with the lunch sets a few bucks less. The staff was friendly and I wish them success. I'll be back but I won't be getting the pho any time soon. Having eaten a ton of pho in the US and even in a month long trip in Vietnam, I'm thinking the joint's name, Pho Real, might be a stretch. read more

We tried this restaurant for the first time as we were in the area. It was alright. We order the sampler appetizer. The summer rolls were good, but the fried spring rolls were not. They were a weird color yellow and were slightly hard for my liking. The meat in the pho was extremely fatty and I had to remove it with a fork. The broth was delish and had the right flavor. The service was average, had to request a couple of times to get my tea refilled. We were there on a Sunday around 12:30. As a Vietnamese/Chinese American born to immigrant parents, I have much higher standards for mom-and-pop oriental cuisine than the average Joe. The food was delicious, yes, but I have some issues with my experience here. The ambiance is very similar to every other family-run Vietnamese restaurant; basic chairs and tables, open walkways to allow faster flow of service, chopsticks/soup spoons/soy sauce/napkins at every table. We walked in around 5:30pm, just before it got really busy. I ordered com dat biet and banh mi thit nuoung. My wife ordered the house special vermicelli bowl. The com dat biet was delicious, but the pork chop was about 75% bone. I wish it would have had more meat on it...I was very dissatisfied with the amount of the pork chop that was edible, because it tasted so great. #disappointment. With the banh mi thit nuoung (and the com dat biet, AND the vermicelli bowl), it came with xa xiu pork instead of thit nuoung. If you're going to sell xa xiu, put it on the menu as xa xiu and not thit nuoung! Thit Nuoung is sweeter and a little more moist compared to xa xiu. #2ndDisappointment. BBQ Pork = Xa Xiu!! Grilled Pork = Thit Nuong!! Overall, the food was good, but not what I had originally wanted. I'll have to come back to try their Pho though before I make a final decision on this Vietnamese eatery. read more

This place used to be really good when the previous owners owned it. Since then there's a new owner and a new cook. We went there and had their Pho and they had a cook that had no idea what he was doing. He broke the noodles into small pieces and it was very difficult to pick up with the chopsticks. We told the bus boy that took the orders and he was supposed to tell the cook I don't know if he ever did. As for his service ability he was probably in his mid-20s and he there were three people in the restaurant and he was having a difficult time even handling and serving those three people. It was my wife myself and one other person waiting on a takeout order and it still took us 30 minutes to get our order so we were rather disappointed.
