My husband and I got 2 orders of curry, one mild and one medium. We were unable to decipher which one was which as they was no description on the containers. The curry was also very thin, almost watered down. When poured over rice, it was hard to tell there was any curry on the plate because it was so thin and light. Also, we ordered their version of a crab rangoon, which was delicious, but it came with a 1/2 teaspon of dipping sauce, which was not enough. I'm not really sure what people are talking about when it comes to the decor. Yeah, it's not super fancy schmancy but big deal...I'm not reviewing it for HGTV. I stopped in to order some take out. I got the Royal Pad Thai with chicken. I got a level 2 in terms of spiciness since it was a new place and every restaurant has a different definition of the spice scale. It had a bit of heat but I'll go up a number next time. It was delicious! I'd consider it one of the best pad thai's I've had. Considering I just moved here from out of state and I miss my thai place back home, this is definitely at the top of my list to come back to and try something else. Expensive, harshly lit, depressing. Sadly, this place's atmosphere wasn't misleading. We gave it a try due to (suspiciously) good reviews, but we were concerned when we noticed the place was empty wasn't on a Friday night. Now I see why. We split a pork pad Thai, which turned up chicken at the table. The texture was good--it wasn't oily or greasy, but the flavor was not. It tasted old. Stopped by for dinner with my family and everything we ordered was delicious but be careful with the spice level.I can usually do a level 2 spice and it was more spicy than other restaurants. We enjoyed the pad see ew, pad Thai, Papaya salad, Thai tea and gyoza. read more

Our entire meal took just under two hours-from the time we were seated to the time we paid our bill. I think we went on a particularly busy evening when they were understaffed and had a lot of takeout orders. I used to order mild which to me was perfect. Now there is hardly any spice with mild. The portions are bigger than before. I would rate this place on par with other tia places in the area. Expert staff, able to explain what foods are what and able to suggest foods to different tastes. We went on monday and they were slow. Service was timely and interactive. I had the amazing seafood dish, and surprised to see several sea scallops within the dish, along with mussels, squid, shrimp and in all yummy peanut sauce. I've been here twice now and both times I've been thoroughly impressed. The drunken noodles were incredible, ordered as a heat level 3 - in my opinion it could have used more heat. This place is amazing. Low key spot with authentic Thai dishes. The name says it all. I commute from summit county to the denver airport quite a bit and it's a perfect and easy stop right off I-70.
