I've been to Cambodia and enjoyed trying some of the dishes from my travels there. Major nostalgia eating at Reathrey Sekong! The interior has Cambodian decorations everywhere, like photos, Buddha statues, and instruments, plus Cambodian music playing, which I always appreciate. My husband and I had the lok lak beef salad, steak and thuk prahok, one egg roll, one spring roll, jackfruit sweet rice, and banana tapioca. The standout was the lok lak, which includes beef coated in a glossy, peppery sauce with some veggies and rice. We both really enjoyed this. Everything else was great and felt authentic. The desserts were not too sweet and were so light to finish out the meal. The price is a quite high for the portion of the food; if they want to keep the prices as is, I suggest giving more food. It was also intensely hot inside, so we had to eat in a rush and leave because we were so uncomfortable. So I had to drop a star. Also not a negative, but they only take cash, Zelle, and Venmo.
Cambodian food isn't nearly as easy to find as Thai or Vietnamese, and Reathrey Sekong offers a phenomenal experience. This unassuming spot in Midtown is easy to pass by, tucked away on Indian School Road, but is well worth seeking out. I stopped in for dinner on a quiet Friday night and was greeted by the host right away. The menu covers a wide range of Cambodian specialties, most of which I wasn't familiar with: the menu has very good descriptions of the fare. I settled on a fresh spring roll and steak with thuck prahok, chased with iced coffee. The spring roll was very similar to a Vietnamese summer roll, though with the addition of chicken to the shrimp, mint, and vermicelli. The bright, vinegary dipping sauce was a fine accompaniment. The steak dish was revelatory: thin slices of medium rare beef were served with raw vegetables and thuck prahok: a sauce of lemongrass, lime leaf, garlic, eggplant, chili, galangal, and prahok (fermented fish paste). The menu warns of its "strong pungent taste", and there's no easy way to describe the flavour: bold and bracing, without being overwhelming or overly salty. This is absolutely worth a repeat visit
This little hole in the wall is a gem! The restaurant is homey and comforting and thankfully has its own private parking lot with adequate spaces. I came in with three other people on a Saturday evening around 6:30 and it wasn't too busy. We were immediately greeted and seated and the waiter was very helpful and friendly throughout the evening, offering suggestions as well. We ordered the fresh and fried spring/egg rolls, the kathiev cha, Cambodian pork chop, lok lak beef, and cha kreung. The food came out reasonably quickly and everything was fresh and flavorful. There was definitely an adequate amount of protein per serving and the portion sizes were good as well. The pork chop was definitely a highlight of the meal. It was a little warm in the restaurant so dress lightly and bring your appetite! As a heads up, there is a sign on the door says that they accept venmo/etc and cash, and credit cards are a 4% surcharge. While Cambodian food is not as commonly found here as other cuisines, I was thrilled to try the fresh and flavorful food at Reathrey Sekong and highly recommend!
Everything was absolutely delicious! Service was quick and friendly. Ambiance is a little darker with all Cambodian art work, a real marvel to look at. Also love that they're open late, we came in around 11 and it was only a few tables. Food came fast and was so incredibly satisfying. Will definitely be back!
Tried Cambodian food for the first time! Can't speak for authenticity but I thought the food was very flavorful and service was great. The restaurant is pretty easy to miss since there aren't any obvious signs so I suggest slowing down when you're near or you can easily miss a turn into the parking lot. Kind of a hole in the wall place! If you have had a lot of Southeast Asian food you may find some familiar flavors such as fish sauce, lemongrass, or the use of tropical fruits. We tried the green mango grilled fish, lemongrass soup, and lot cha. The green mango fish was good, it tasted very refreshing. I kind of expected it to be more grilled though! The sea bass was nice and soft. The lemongrass soup is strong and flavorful! It was nice with rice. The loat cha had some chewy short tubular noodles that I really enjoyed! It was also strong in flavor, smoky and a bit salty. The fish and soup each came with a bowl of white rice. Waiter was kind and patient. Gave us the top 3 most ordered dishes and then a few of his personal favorites. Happy to answer any questions we had as newcomers! Easy to switch out the proteins with your preferred choice. Also mentioned you can't get loat cha noodles at any other restaurant in AZ so I would recommend trying that if you want to go for something new. Also let us stay as long as we wanted after to chat. Cash only but they also do Zelle or Venmo!
Great restaurant to start off with if you are new to Cambodian food! Excellent experience!! Great staff and welcoming energy right as you walk in! Place is a little small but that makes the food even better, at least I think so. Tried Cambodian food for the first time! Can't speak for authenticity but I thought the food was very flavorful and service was great. The service is polite, genuine and positive. The food is incredible. It's worth whatever wait you may have. Parking will be in the back but can be hard to miss the actual restaurant. Payment; Cash, Venmo and Zelle Pictured is: Curry Soup with white rice (almost like a red curry, but this one will have a more "earth" flavor with more spices. Student noodles (almost like a Pad Thai flavor)
I once watched a documentary about Cambodia. I won't say my mouth was salivating over Cambodian delicacies like fried spiders but I will admit I was intrigued.. I was hoping to be blown away by dishes consisting of unique flavour and spices, but I wasn't. Perhaps that was due to my selection-the Mi Keaw soup which I thought was bland and flavorless. The highlight of the soup was the home made dumplings. I did try the lemon grass chicken which was phenomenal. I will come back again and will definitely order the lemon grass chicken or lemon grass soup.
First time trying Cambodian food, and it definitely won't be the last. This place is warm and cozy, very homey feeling. The service was delightful, helpful, and informative.
One of the best Cambodian restaurants I've had in my life. Every time I travel I always look to support local Khmer restaurants. I was surprised to see one in Phoenix. The authentic flavors caught my attention. It is so flavorful and encompasses so many traditional khmer dishes. Portion sizes are not large but will leave you content. While it is a bit on the pricier side of other Khmer food I have seen and felt like Disneyland line for the food to come out, it became clear in the first bite that you're waiting and paying to eat such great quality food. We were so impressed we had to pay compliments to the chef before we left, as we have never had food that tasted so close to home at a restaurant before. If you're looking to try high quality and authentic khmer food, this is the place to go.
Authentic! 95% of the menu is gluten free. So many delicious flavors. We tried about 5-7 dishes and everything was amazing! Start with an iced coffee!
This place has been bookmarked since I moved to Phoenix but I didn't get a chance to come and try it until recently. Definitely regretting not coming sooner! Ok so this place does not have obvious signs and you can easily miss the entrance to the parking in the back and the door is in the back as well. Hole in the wall place? Yes. BUT the staff is friendly and the food was awesome. We had the curry soup which I definitely recommend. That was so good and perfect for our Phoenix winter weather. The student noodle with chicken was flavorful and the noodles were nice and chewy. We tried the steak plate but that was my least favorite dish of the night. We also had the jackfruit and sweet rice which was such a nice finishing touch to our meal. Give them a try! I know I will be back for more.
Protip: Definitely give this place a try! I'd recommend the BBQ platter for a taste of all the meats. Highlights: Everything we ordered was delicious and honestly, I wish we could have ordered more. I'm definitely coming back to try more items on the menu. BBQ platter is a great way to try all the Cambodian meats, pineapple soup had a good amount of fish and flavor, jackfruit and sweet rice was delicious and loved the banana tapoica. Service was amazing as well. Lowlights: I thought the banana in the tapoica was a bit on the unripe side, so it was hard and not as delicious as it could have been.
Doesn't look like much when you drive by, we actually nearly missed it because it was along a busy road. Signage was a bit hard to see as it was dark but we managed to find our way in. There is a parking lot behind the restaurant, so if you drive slow enough you won't miss it. It was quite warm in there as they only had the fan on. Not sure if the air conditioner was broken but that wasn't turned on. It took a while for us to be seated as it was quite busy and I could see it was just one person running the floor. Definitely short staffed on the floor and in the kitchen. It took a long time for everything including taking our order and the food to come out. That's the only reason why I have given 4 stars. The server did say they were two chefs down and it was only his mum cooking in the kitchen. Besides from the food coming out slowly the taste of all the dishes was very authentic. It did remind me of home and my mums cooking. The bbq platter was full of flavour and the beef On the skewers were very tender and flavourful. Can definitely smell all the herbs. The chicken wings were huge! Nice sweet bbq chargrilled flavour. The beef salad had a tangy lime zest, love the ceviche style. A very healthy dish if you want to cut out on the carbs. Kathiev Cha was full of flavour, a generous serving portion with lots of beef and shrimp.
This was my first time at this restaurant and my first time having Cambodian food. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. I told our server it was our first time there and he made a few suggestions and explained each dish. I was not disappointed with my choice. The food is prepared as you order. Once it got busier, the service was a little slower, but worth the wait. If you're in the area you should definitely try this place. read more

Khmer food outside of CA, MA, and PA is REAL hard to find. Khmer food THIS good? M I N D B L O W I N G When you walk into Reathrey Sekong, you immediately feel like you're being welcomed into someone's home. The decor, music, and sense of family gives you a sense of calmness and ease. We arrived a little before 6pm on a Friday evening and were quite delighted to be the only patrons there, because we had heard how busy it can get. One dish after the other blew us away. So much so that we ordered 3 entrees for the two of us. Here's what we had: ANGKOR STOUT - a very 'stout-y stout' PLEAH SACH KO - aka 'ceviche' beef salad. This dish blew our fudging minds! Every single bite is PACKED with intense SEA (Southeast Asian) flavors that literally leave your taste buds tingling. If you eat red meat, DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS! PHNOM PENH KATHIEV - This was my first bowl of kathiev - ever! I know, how is it that a Khmer woman never had kathiev? Well, that's a long story involving a dire lack of Khmer influence growing up. That's what makes this bowl even more special. From the first bite to the last, I felt like I was reconnecting to my roots. LOAT CHA - If you're familiar with Chinese/Malaysian food, this is similar to the 'silver needle' or 'rat tail' noodle stir-fry dish. I love how Khmer cuisine tops dishes with a fried egg - it's one tasty signature move. Highly recommend this dish - especially if you're new to SEA foods. CHA KREUNG (TOFU) - Soooo after the first three dishes, we were pretty full but didn't want to stop exploring this bangin menu. We were definitely stuffed after this fragrant dish. And we don't regret a thing! I love making kreung, but there's something about eating it a restaurant that's super satisfying. Maybe because it's not easy work! BANANA TAPIOCA - IMO SEA desserts are the best because they're ***not too sweet*** This one did not disappoint. We had to get it to go because we felt like we were going to explode if we tried to eat more there. We brought it home 4 hours later and it was still warm! It tastes exactly like it's described, so if you like bananas and coconut, you'll want to order this. While rolling ourselves out of the restaurant, we couldn't stop raving about what we just ate. Four days later and we still can't stop talking about it. I hope to make a visit again soon before we leave, even if it's a bit of a drive. Because it's very much worth it! read more

When you think of Arizona, you don't think of Cambodian food. To be honest I don't think I've ever found a Cambodian restaurant anywhere, but I'm so glad I did. I'm a big fan of Southeast Asian food, especially Thai and Vietnamese. This is somewhere in between, a balance between the two. It's run by the nicest family, it feels like they're welcoming you into their house. I've gotten a few things, the curry soup and mi keaw are my favorites. If it's a cold and rainy day I'll go out of my way to come here, it's the prefect spot for comfort food. I plan on keeping this as a regular spot! read more

There are only a handful of Cambodian restaurants and this one really blew my socks off. It's a small family owned restaurant that is very quaint. Mom cooks in the back with exceptional care and attention to detail and her son manages the front end of the business. Authentic, flavorful, and beautiful. You can tell how much they care about their business and have thought through the experience for the customer. We got the papaya salad, bbq platter, lemongrass soup and amok fish. All of it really tasted like a home cooked meal and didn't skip a beat in flavor. read more
This has got to be one of my fav. spots in the valley to go eat at when I'm looking for something ... comforting It's an unassuming restaurant with traditional Cambodian meals and a warm serene dining atmosphere. The service, the food, the experience is all stellar. The two dishes here are my faves: The Student Noodles & the Lemongrass Tofu Stir Fry. The Student Noodles is a simple noodle dish consisting of fresh thin rice noodles, green cabbage, bean sprouts, tofu, and crushed peanuts tossed in a vegan-friendly mushroom oyster sauce. Came here on a Saturday night without a reservation. It was early, around 6ish, but there was one table of diners inside already. The interior was clean, with traditional Cambodian decorations. Service was efficient and friendly. Prices were a bit expensive for the area, in comparison with other Asian restaurants. We got the summer and egg roll, and the ginger stir fry and grilled fish for mains. Everything was pretty average. The restaurant proved to be quite popular though, as many diners had come in by the time we were wrapping up. Would not return based on the food we had, but maybe other options are better. read more
I've held off on my Reathrey Sekong review for some time now because, to be honest, I needed some recovery time from experiencing what was surely the taste of heaven. Though we are ethnically Chinese, both of my parents were born in Cambodia and we grew up eating food from both cultures. One bite into my Reathrey dinner and I was immediately transported to the huge family parties we had seemingly every weekend when I was a tiny kid. I haven't experienced dine in (curse you, Covid!) but gotten takeout a couple of times and the food travels very well. Employees are super friendly and knowledgable, and great about answering any questions regarding food allergies and recommendations. And, prices are super reasonable for the amount of food you get. I would say more affordable than many of the Thai restaurants around the valley. Some of the must try dishes include the Loat Cha and the Cha Kreung. Loat cha was my absolute favorite as a kid, and diving into this plate was like diving straight back into my childhood (in a good way). The noodles were cooked perfectly with a chewy texture and tons of flavor, and were complimented so well by the thin sliced beef. I'm also a huge sucker for an egg on top of anything. The cha kreung, lemongrass chicken, is maybe my favorite stir fry anything I've ever had in my life. Not even exaggerating. Each bite is explosive with flavor, but not crazy salty. Just bite after bite of chickeny lemongrassy bliss. We've also had the student noodles, phnom pehn noodles, the amok fish, and the steak & thuck prahok. My boyfriend actually preferred the student noodles over the loat cha noodles--I can see why, the student noodles I would say are more similar to a pad thai with a hit of sweetness and the thinner rice noodles. I really liked them too, especially with the delicious chunks of chicken. The phnom pehn noodles and amok fish were pretty good, but I don't know that I would choose them over either the loat cha or cha kreung. The steak & thuck prahok was not by any means bad, just not really what my personal preferences are. The sauce is pretty strong and pungent. My favorite dessert is the jackfruit and sweet rice, steamed with coconut milk inside of a banana leaf. One order comes with two little rice rolls. It's one of my favorite Southeast Asian desserts in general, and Reathrey does a really great job executing. Definitely don't skip it as you near the end of your meal. I absolutely recommend Reathrey Sekong to anyone looking for something a little different. I'm so glad that Phoenix has some Cambodian representation, and will definitely be making this one of my regular spots! read more

Takeout was successful! 45 min wait at 7pm on a rainy Tuesday night. Not familiar with Cambodian food so appreciate the unique blend of flavors and ingredients. Bok Lahong (papaya salad) - fancy salted and crunchy crab with a bit of spice. Love the tomatoes that balance out the spicy flavor. Goes well with plain rice. Pineapple soup what a combination of fish , baby lotus root, tomatoes , cucumbers (?) and jalapeños ! Perfect for rainy weather. Jackfruit sticky rice - beautiful dessert of sticky sweetness, but not too sweet. . And the portion is snack size x2 (slightly larger than turkey/cheese stick) so you're not stuffed silly. read more

We had the basil seeds and grass jelly drink which was very good! We ordered the Kathiev Cha which was a flat noodle dish with stir-fried beef, shrimp, broccoli, and carrots. We also ordered the Lok Lak Beef which was marinated pan fried beef on lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. Both dishes were delicious! The meat was tender and savory! For dessert we had the banana tapioca, and the jackfruit & sweet rice. Both were served hot and were excellent. The banana tapioca had, coconut milk, tapioca, and fresh banana slices. The jackfruit & sweet rice had fresh jackfruit, with coconut in rice with coconut milk. Service was great as well! The place was clean, and the restrooms were clean too! read more

Solid little family run restaurant tucked away in PHX (and by tucked away I mean I totally missed the parking lot!! - so nervous drivers out there: there's an AWESOMELY convenient lot & don't settle for street parking). I'd highly recommend the BBQ platter to get a good sampling of the meats. I wish I'd gotten the seafood platter as well, but next time! Opted for the steak & thuck prahok but the dipping sauce was very strong - like 1000x stronger than concentrated fish paste (as the server warned). So if you don't have a very adventurous palette for fish - I'd stay away from that specifically. No worries though bc there are a TON of other delicious items to try out though! For dessert, I was torn between the choices, but jackfruit sticky rice was an awesome decision! read more
At first glance, the menu is not vegan friendly, but don't be deterred. On request, they are willing to accommodate and adjust. I'm super grateful because the food is good: * Cha kreung: lemongrass stir fry with perfectly seasoned tofu * Kathiev cha koansuh: student rice noodles with tofu and green cabbage (order w/o oyster and fish sauce) * Dessert: jackfruit and sweet rice: steamed with coconut milk in a fragrant banana leaf Minus a star for two things: 1. portion sizes were small for the price point and 2. the order and pacing of the food was off e.g. appetizers came at length after two of the main dishes were served. Bottom line, check this place out! Seems to be the only Cambodian restaurant in ALL of Arizona, so make reservations b/c it can get busy. The decor is a fun, eclectic mix of traditional with 40s-50s memorabilia. The woman who waited on us was incredibly kind and accommodating to my dietary restrictions. And best of all, the flavors are authentic! read more

Great place to try Cambodian food in Phoenix. Went here after 3pm on a hike so it was just me and a friend at the small restaurant. It was nice to try different foods than the usual. Got the student noodles , beef kabob, and salad appetizer. read more
HOLE IN THE WALL This place does not look like much and you will probably miss the turn into the parking lot. As a cautionary measure, they are currently only offering takeout. I walked up to the table outside and my order was ready. The Cha Kreung Chicken was wonderful and you can taste multiple spices infusing together. Personally I am not the biggest fan of fish but the Green Mango Fish was good. Kathiev cha/ Student Noodles was a great tasting simple noodle dish. Overall, try not to drive past this place and give it a shot. read more

Reathrey Sekong is undoubtedly one of Phoenix's hidden gems. Guests dined in a relaxed atmosphere with classic Khmer music playing softly in the background. The menu is eclectic but creative- -filled with exotic and complexed flavors yet deliciously profound. Authentic Cambodian fare reminiscent of a home-cooked meal. Our party of 3 ordered the following dishes: FISH AMOK Cambodia's signature dish- -fish fillets marinated in a creamy curry sauce then steamed in a banana leaf and topped with coconut cream. The dish reminded me of a soufflé. GREEN MANGO GRILLED FISH Grilled fish topped with a layer of zesty mango and garlic sauce giving it a delightful brightness. GRILLED PORK CHOP This common street food featured thinly sliced seasoned pork that was smoky and savory and paired well with the accompanied pickled veggies. STIR FRY LEMONGRASS CHICKEN This was by far our favorite dish of the evening. Seasoned chicken stir fried with bell peppers, onions and green beans. Savory, herby, slightly sweet and spicy with a pleasant freshness from the basils sums up this dish wonderfully. All the dishes were amazing and best eaten with steamed rice! Incredible food and top notch service were truly the focuses at this family-owned restaurant. If you're looking to expand your palate or feeling adventurous, give this place a try! read more

The service is polite, genuine and positive. The food is incredible. It's worth whatever wait you may have. If you're hungry, the portions are filling. The pork chops have a distinct marinade. I want to drink it. The pork chops have this crispy finish. I've had them twice. The egg rolls had these perfectly crispy shells. The curry soup had a sweet flavor and it can only be described as authentic. It's like it came out of somebodies grandmothers kitchen. It's fresh. It's a gem. :) I like the music they play and the decorations look like they really want you to know where the food is coming from. It's almost like you travel through their experience. read more
I was in the Phoenix region getting some studying done and was craving some Asian food. Found this cozy Cambodian place and knew I had to try it out. For the price and quality you're getting, this place is a GEM. I ordered the Phmom Penh noodle soup sans liver, the broth was incredibly soothing and complimented all of the different components in the dish. I finished my meal with the jackfruit & Sweet Rice dessert that was steamed to perfection and was incredibly satisfactory. The ambiance, food, and service were all so spectacular. Came with my friend on a weekday dinner, and there was plenty of seat. Love the interior decoration so much! Brought me back to the feeling of being in Southeast Asia. We ordered the bbq platter (since we wanted to try many things from the menu and it came with the wings, pork chop, and skewers), Amok fish, and the jackfruit & sweet rice for dessert. The bbq platter was good! The chicken wings were tender, and you can really taste lemongrass in the skewer. Both of my friends particularly love the juicy pork chop (in fact it's our favorite dish of the night ). The Amok fish was ok; I found it better if you eat it with sriracha as it elevated the taste (since I felt like it needed more spice). The jackfruit & sweet rice. OMG. That was a party in my mouth. Love it! The super friendly owner (?) kindly explained to us that it was cooked without any processed sugar; you wrap up the rice, jackfruit and a little bit of honey with banana leaf, steam it, and the sweetness will permeate. AND BOY DID IT PERMEATE. Love it. Overall a great experience with a top notch service. Will definitely comeback. read more

As a Cambodian American whom has grown up with legit Cambodian food cooked by my grandmother, this place definitely passes the test! I was hesitant to eat here because I grew up eating delicious, authentic Khmer food... I feared that the food would be too Westernized. Thankfully, I was wrong! My partner and I ordered the Bok Lahong, cha kreung, and green mango fish. The food was delicious and delivered with a smile. The waiter whom I assume to be the "son" was very friendly and pleasant! First time in town and my Sifu/Kim Sifu was looking for a place to eat. Yelp the closes to us while driving and ended up here at this nice small little Cambodian Restaurant. Got to meet the owner and exchanged our typical Cambodian greetings. Being Cambodian myself, it'll be rude if you don't try to get to know your own country folks!! Represent!! As far as the food, I went with the Beef Lok Lak with Veggies, my Sifu went with the Beef Noodle Soup and my Kim Sifu went with the Chicken Ginger Stir-Fry. Being that I'm Khmer myself and often cooked these dishes at home, I have got to say, their food here is marvelous. All the food tasted very very good. The sauce used in the dish was just right. Not too salty or bland. I didn't even have to use any dipping sauce for my Lok Lak. It was just perfectly made. Since I don't eat rice anymore, the owner was very accommodating with an extra serving of veggies in place of the rice. If I'm ever back in Phoenix again, I'll surely visit this jewel of a place again. read more

Great Food, Great Service, Smaller Portions, Upwards Prices I saw the great yelp reviews and a new Cambodian place to check out so here I come! The waiter was super friendly and did a great job. He made some nice conversation is engaged to the owner from what he was saying. Friendly guy. We ordered the Lemongrass Chicken and it was really good. Similar to what my mother in law makes from Laos. I was a bit surprised the portion was a bit smaller than I am used to and it was priced a little bit higher. Presentation of the food was great, not on a plain white plate but a nice colored plate arranged neatly. The ambiance is nice, it has a relaxing feel to the whole place. All in all I liked the place and you should stop by and take a taste for yourself on a day you are not starving or you may need 2 means to fill your stomach. read more
Service was friendly, but I thought the food was rather lackluster. I could tell that the dishes were made with care, but the flavors just fell flat and didn't inspire me to want to return. Reathrey Sekong is located in its own little plaza, complete with a parking lot in the back. The entrance is also in the back, and the inside decor is dim and has a traditional feel. The menu is relatively small and possesses descriptions of each item without pictures. Spring roll with dipping sauce: This was indeed an enormous spring roll, probably the biggest I've seen. It wasn't bad, but a bit bland even with the provided dipping sauce. The server was kind enough to cut it into three pieces to share, and even then there was plenty to go around. Fried rice with beef: The fried rice was made well and incorporated soy sauce, which I'm not too fond of. The beef came in braised cubes and was slightly overlooked, as evidenced by its slightly tough texture and chewiness. The beef was also too salty, and when paired with the soy sauce fried rice, the whole dish had too much sodium for me. Student Noodles: This was an interesting dish, as it had noodles soaked in a soy-based (I think?) sauce that was diluted. I hadn't had a dish like it before, and I thought it wasn't bad, especially when paired with the crispy bean sprouts. I don't know whether I'd order it again, but I'm glad I tried it. Barbecue pork: This was supposedly ranked as one of be top ten foods to try on CNN or something along those lines (as the menu indicated). I wasn't a fan. Some pieces were well-cooked and tender, but the majority veered on the dry side that turned to a sawdust-like texture when chewed. This dish was also really salty, and I have a hard time believing that it ranked as one of the top ten dishes to try. Chances are I won't return, but I think this is an interesting restaurant to try at least once, if just for the Student Noodles. read more

Wow! Excellent service and some of the best spring rolls I've ever had! It comes out as one long roll and the fish sauce to dip it in was so tasty I had to bring some extra home to try to recreate it. Their student noodles were well seasoned and comforting. This place is ok. Not great not bad. It gets the job done when you're craving some Asian food. I'm originally from California, and came Here for my cousin's birthday. Food: food did take longer than usual to prepare. I was near the last one to be served (our party was around 14 people). It took maybe 20ish minutes. I ordered the kwayteo cha. In my opinion, it was a little too salty. Probably too much oyster sauce. The dish was extremely dark. Setting: the restaurant is pretty dim and dark. Parking: not bad. The place was easy to miss. Overall, would come back again if I ever come back to Arizona for a visit. read more

Yes! I went with two vegetarian friends and they both had excellent veggie meals. One ordered the student noodles with no meat. Just tell your server you are vegetarian.
