I went to the reborn coffee roasters with my mom on a sunday night. There are cute little tables outside as well as the inside with terrariums on it. I wanted to get the soft serve ice cream so I got that, and my mom got the cappuccino. I thought the cappuccino would be bigger, but it came in a little cup and that was a pleasant surprise. Cute setting and decor. I also got the free reborn water with yelp check in. We hung out in front of the fires outside and chatted a while and I had a good time. It's a good place to hang out with friends or to study in peace. Not too loud and noise level is soft in my opinion. I would recommend this little cafe to others. read more

I came in here hoping to burn some time between appointments. Maybe sit and have some coffee and work on a lap top for an hour. That did not happen. They had a very limited selection of coffee and Italian espresso. That's fine. I ordered a cold drip coffee which came in a Dixie size paper cup. It was very bitter for a cold drip. They also had nothing to doctor it up by raw sugar which is not going to melt in a cold coffee. I ended up throwing it out. Buy really the worst part, I had nowhere to sit. The tables were kind of small and everyone there seemed to use them as their personal desk with the backpacks and items spread across them. There was one high top chair available but the foot rest was broken and it felt sketchy and uncomfortable. I ended up throwing out the coffee and going somewhere else. read more

This place has some pretty damn good coffee. I'm a big coffee fan, and I like to think that if a coffee place has good coffee, then that's a good sign. I'm usually very picky with where I get my coffee and what I get, and I must say that so far, I've been very pleased with my experience. I ordered a Columbia Bucaramanga pour over coffee. Since they make each cup by hand, know that you're going to have to wait for a bit, but it's worth it. It was totally worth the $4.25 I spent. I was very pleased with the customer service and since the place is new, it's very clean. I'd recommend this place for people who really like coffee and actually care about where the beans are from and how it's brewed. read more

I am so so happy a good coffee spot opened up near my house!! I heard it was opening and was praying that it would be good.. and it is! The decor is nice and hipster-y, they have a nice outdoor seating area, and their chairs are comfy. They have so many different options to choose from (including athletic clothes and bottles hahaha). We got the Reborn-ade flight ($15): sunshine was my fave (yuzu-ice blended), then beauty (pomegranate-refreshing), then youth (green plum) and then the detox (kale lemongrass and mint). They were all good but the detox was a little kale-y for my taste, but my mom loves that one. You have to mix them! Individual juices ($5) come with a mason jar w/lid! Cold brew flight ($15): we subbed one for the nitro cold brew. Refreshing and yummy! I also got a poppy seed bagel w/ blueberry cream cheese. They use something with sprouts.. I am not sure what that means but regardless it was tasty haha. I def want to try their ube bagel next time. We got a sample of the A2 soft serve and it was SO good. Needing a place to consistently get some heavy duty studying in, I found this cafe hidden away in a large strip mall. The place is usually moderately filled with people studying or those meeting others to catch up. Table space is limited inside but they do have nice patios outside that would fit the bill. Some days the wifi is spotty but others I can get work done undisturbed. Unfortunately, there is only 2 available outlets in the whole cafe. The music selection is usually great too, a good mix of soothing throwbacks. I've tried only the teas but they always come in a delicate presentation with classy glassware. The baked goods are also very good as well, specifically the blueberry muffins and almond croissants. Overall, I highly recommend coming here! read more

What a great new(ish) local coffee shop! Reborn Coffee is an excellent stop for drinking excellent coffee while studying, people watching, or taking a break after shopping! I love the location as well! Drink: I got a decaf hazelnut latte with almond milk and thoroughly enjoyed it! Who needs Starbucks and their burnt coffee!? Not me! Reborn has excellent pour-over and cold brew coffee, I especially like seeing their giant cold-brewing contraption!:) It looks like a science experiment. They have some impressive/refreshing looking juice drinks that I want to try next time. My boyfriend got his coffee with cashew milk...and just an FYI: I think cashew milk is a very "acquired taste" ...it was not my favorite. Service/Ambiance: I love how welcoming the workers at Reborn are! They are happy and engaging and I appreciate their great attitudes. The space is very modern and minimal but also comfortable. I really like the giant couch because it is sooooo nice to sit on! It also seats many people. I was so impressed with how comfortable their stools are as well! This is one of the best coffee shops in OC. Service and products are top notch every time I have come here. My usual order rotates between a Cappuccino or a Matcha Latte (unsweetened). Both are delicious, and I especially love that they have unsweetened Matcha here, just the way it should be! They are also known for their Cold Brews, which they have won awards for! I highly recommend the Ethiopian for a fruitier flavor, perfect for the summer. Recently, I have tried one of their new items, the Blueberry Matcha, which will be a permanent addition to the menu. Blueberry Matcha -------------------- I asked if the matcha was infused with a blueberry sweetener of some kind, but fortunately, blueberries are ground into a powder and mixed with the matcha powder. I personally do not like drinks that are on the sweeter side, so this sounded amazing for me, as the blueberry would act as a natural sweetener. The barista recommended it better as iced, so I went with that option. At first the barista accidentally made it a regular Iced Matcha Latte, but when I told him I ordered the blueberry one, he apologized and quickly made up the correct order for me. What excellent service! Upon first sip: Refreshing, light, and tasty! It had the perfect amount of sweetness from the blueberries, but the matcha flavor was not overpowered at all! A wonderful harmony in a drink. I absolutely loved it. We had coffee there on this Sunday morning. I had a double espresso, which was strong and a bit bitter, just the way I like it. If you're an espresso purist you'll enjoy it. It's served with a sugar cube and a small wooden spoon on a nice wooden tray with a side of sparkling water. The water had a mint sprig and a raspberry in it, nice touch. If you don't like the strong stuff, get an americano. My wife had one and it was excellent. The blueberry muffin was fine. The cherry almond scone had good flavor, but a bit pasty/stale maybe. There is a nice seating area around a fire pit and festival lighting outside and good indoors seating. The decor is concrete floors, warehouse ceilings and comfortable sofa and cushioned chairs. The music is really great. They don't open till 6:00 AM, which is okay on the weekend, but too late for weekdays. They do not sell newspapers, which is a bummer. Great little coffee shop! The girl working there this morning was one of the sweetest people I've ever met. Cherry on top of getting coffee in the morning was talking to a genuinely nice person! Quite the opposite from the assembly line that is Starbucks. I'm an avid iced/blended mocha drinker, as are many, so of course I got an iced mocha. They asked me if I wanted it sweetened, which threw me off a bit, so I ended up getting 1 pump of the sweetener. The outcome was perfect! Not too sweet, just right! Baristas are very friendly and accommodating and they will happily let you sample one of their daily brews before ordering. Never felt pretentiousness like how most higher end coffee shops tend to be. Down-to-earth and you can tell they love the products that they were selling. Coffee: I managed to sample a few of their brews and you can tell all the notes listed in their roast. My palette is still developing but even I was able to distinguish the difference between each brew. Coffee is delicious to me if I don't need to add any sweetener or creamer. I was most certainly happy for my black cold brew of their Guatemalan blend. I also tried their raspberry macarons because that is my ultimate favorite cookie. Reborn Coffee is a cute coffee shop in a cute little area. There are a few pros and a few cons. Let's get to the pros first. Pros: Friendly and helpful staff gave honest suggestions, location is ideal, drinks are instagram friendly, croissants are flaky and delicious! They were actually some of the best croissants I've had in a long time. Drink choices are plentiful. Tea was tasty. Coffee flights were of great variety. Loved the little merch corner (great marketing)! Cons: Seating is limited. I'm thankful we came in the morning because there were only a few people inside, but we did eventually make our way outside. Espresso machine was broken. Maybe it was an off day, but no espresso machine limited the drink options. I didn't see anything to flavor our coffee. Not everyone can withstand strong coffee and I could have used some creamer, half and half or something else to adjust m drink to my liking. Otherwise it was a great visit! Reborn is the first coffee shop that I found that not only allows dogs inside the premise, but has exquisite coffee and great customer service. The baristas were knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. The interior and exterior patio are comfortable and well designed. Definitely recommend visiting Reborn. They're known for their cold brew. They won America's Best Cold Brew contest with a first place title. They offer a great variety of drinks, both hot and cold. Coffee and non-coffee. There's four cold brew options. We had the Reborn Nitro, House-Made Chai with oat milk, and a Latte with oat milk. Their first place title says everything you need to know about the coffee, but the nitro was smooth, fruity, dark, and strong. I'd order the chai with regular milk next time because the oat overpowered the chai. The latte was good and not too strong. I'd definitely return to try the cortado, their cold drinks, and a different cold brew. read more

Love how cozy the café looks and the outside seating! Came on a Sunday and they were pretty busy with most of the seats being taken by people studying or just catching up. It's counter service, so you go up to the front place your order and they'll call out the drink when it's ready for pick up. Things I've tried have been: Rebornade - I had the detox one and it was pretty good. Simple and I think it's doing the job? Basically a clear soda with a concentrated juice and a kale leaf. There wasn't a lemonade taste to it don't be confused by the name. Black Sesame Soft Serve - was SO good and it's only $3 for a cone which I think is a steal compared to most places these days. My mom's a huge black sesame fan and she'd come back just for that. They also offer plain vanilla too! I've tried a couple of their coffees before but I'm not too into coffee so a lot of them were too bitter for me. You can add flavors for an additional cost, but definitely don't expect anything like the sweet coffee drinks from Starbucks here. They also offer pastries like Coffee Buns and macarons if you want a snack with your drink. The cashiers in the front are super friendly but the service can be kind of slow because they do slow drip some of their coffee and it takes some time to craft. Definitely more of a sit down and relax type of place, so I wouldn't recommend coming here when you're in a rush! read more
