However, the menu is extremely busy, and you practically need a key to understand what's what or even how to order. Once we ordered, I noticed the ceremonial matcha is made with a handheld electric frother, and the cold foams are premade in jars and simply added on top (not made fresh). When we received our matchas, let's just say it tasted exactly like it looked: mostly milk with very little matcha flavor, topped with subpar cold foam. This is by far the most expensive, worst-tasting matcha I've ever had. I can usually find a way to justify things or give a place some grace, but this was beyond help.

I got the smoked brown sugar latte which was tasty. If you taste the foam by itself it's very smokey but with the drink it's well balanced. Another reviewer mentioned "coffee grounds" in their drink - pretty sure these are particles from the syrup/smokey flavor. I had them too and drank them, weren't bitter at all so pretty sure they aren't coffee grounds. I also got a croissant which I would agree with another reviewer was a bit dry, possibly a day old. Somewhat limited menu which I hope they expand in the future. Paid about $13 for coffee and pastry. There is a 3% surcharge for credit card. Unfortunately seating is somewhat limited and not the most comfy. Probably a maximum of 20 people can sit inside at once with one small table outside. There are tons of outlets accessible from every seat and they even have extension cords set up for customers. It's moderate to loud and the music/vibe is more rock and grunge. Very friendly service. Small parking lot but street parking available, no time limits. Currently NO bathroom available. Free WiFi available. You can study/work here briefly given the WiFi and outlets but can't stay longer given lack of bathroom and limited seating They sell merch including beans from Iron & Kin for $22 with a roast date within 1 month. The beverages and treats available looked delicious. The service was very friendly. It looked like a place for people hung out for a while or studied/read as well. I got the banana crumble matcha, which was a nice sweet treat as well as something to satisfy my caffeine fix. Definitely would come here more often about live closer. But just a nice place overall.
