It's new, and if not it looks like they just renovated the whole place. It's very nice inside. The menu is not the biggest one I've seen at a diner, but atleast what's on it seems to be good. I went there with my wife, daughter, aunt and uncle. My aunt and uncle both had omelets and they came out just the way they wanted it. And they were really good. My wife had a couple of poached eggs, they were cooked a little bit more than she wanted, were still good. My daughter loved her meal French toast with Carmel and apples, she got it apples and Carmel on the side. Let's just say I almost lost a finger when I got to close. And me I had a turkey club pannini with potato salad and a pickle. It was all good. Next time I'm in NY I'll definitely eat here again.

Can't say it's bad. First time I went there it was burnt. But the second time they did improve. So can't give it a 1 but a 4 would do it. Better job than last time I can give u that! Glad lynbrook has a diner again

Not a bad choice for a variety of food, but prices are high and service is young and mediocre. For the area, parking is a bit hinky but ok. Staff has a can-do attitude but someone needs to better manage them. Our server took forever to come over, even though the place was mostly empty. He had to be reminded to bring basic water and additional napkins as requested. I had two birthdays by the time the food arrived. They do not yet have a liquor license, but their menu has no note about that. They have alcohol on the menu and if you order something, then he tells you. This is on a "need to know" basis?? Sloppy management. Why not put a note on the menu? Double duh. No attention to detail. Cashier was MIA when we got to the front. Maybe she was on break? Seems they close at 9 pm. Bedtime or naptime? So we saw that the Cobb salad was over $20, which seemed offensive. But when it came out, the size was large and I felt less offended. Seems the price is justified. Someone from the Ambiance Ambulance Squad needs to pay attention to the look of the place. "Decor" was random.

Just look at what's supposed to be cheese on this cheeseburger. Did the cook leave the plastic on the Kraft single?

Read about this place re-opening, decided to give it a try. Looks nice inside. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich on white toast after being assured by the server that the chicken salad was the chunky type, not the very shredded type. Wife settled on a cheeseburger, she wasn't thrilled with the choices. My chicken salad was exactly the type I DIDN'T want, plus it was on rye toast, and the bread was hard. It took nearly ten minutes to get the server's attention. He apologized, I then requested bacon and eggs. I had already tried my wife's bacon, and it was somewhat tasteless and hard to chew, so I asked for not too crispy. Her cheese on the burger looked like it was one of those Kraft cheese food slices, but looked like they had left the plastic on. Server brought my food out without the toast. He said they "have a slow toaster." Yes, he said that. My hash browns were way too salty. Eggs tasted old. Bacon was hard to chew. I opened the butter packet and was suspicious because it felt very soft and warm. The butter was separated. The server said it came out of the refrigerator, he'll get me new butter. I told him they need a new refrigerator. I couldn't smell it, but my wife says the place definitely had a strong smell of mold. After the third hair was found in her burger, we KNEW it wasn't hers. It was grey. Neither of us finished our meals. Went to pay, had to wait till the apparent owner behind the counter finished counting out dollar bills. No acknowledgement that we were standing there until he finally decided to use two fingers to call us over. Very nice. He asked how everything was. I said, "Could've been better." His response, "Oh, okay." Zero out of 5 stars.

Newly renovated. I loved the new decor and it was clean and fairly busy on a Sunday morning. Our server was great, I wish I remembered her name. We got the avocado Benedict with bacon and an American cheese omelette. I thought they were just going to give me two strips of bacon but boy was there a pile of it! One of the best diners I have been to in a while, especially in that area. I will be back.

The food was absolutely amazing. Everything my family and I ordered was flavorful, fresh, and exceeded our expectations. There wasn't a single dish that disappointed us. A special shoutout to the gentleman with locs and glasses who was working at the front. His customer service was outstanding. He was friendly, professional, and helped create a positive first impression. Our waitress was okay overall, but the front-of-house service really stood out. The only downside was the wait. We waited well over an hour, closer to two hours, and the restaurant was packed. Parking was also extremely difficult. They do offer valet parking, which helps, but the lot was still very challenging to navigate due to how busy it was. Also, this place is pricey! Even with the long wait, price, and parking issues, the food and overall experience made it worth it. My family and I would definitely return and recommend it to others.

I saw The Caffe On Park to find out what kind of breakfast was served and if I wanted to sit and dine at this restaurant. Just looking at the pictures and not reading the reviews or who reviewed the business. Entering the restaurant, I found The Caffee to have warm lighting causing an inviting yet romantic setting. I was properly greeted and seated. My waiter was very kind and pleasant. The busboy brought over water and the bread sticks to the table. Something I have never seen only when eating a salad. I did not touch them because I thought the person that brought it to the table probably made a mistake. On my first visit I sat in the middle of the room. Surrounded by a lot of patrons. Everything went well as I faced the window. I ordered the vegetable omelet with rye toast and a generous portion of unique home fries. I also had French vanilla coffee. The home fries were really tasty and the omelet was filling as well as tasty. I was very satisfied with the choice. I thought the clear coffee cup was a classy touch. After dining I looked around and saw that they had ice cream, but I dare not indulge, it is too early for me. My waiter was attentive and busy so I ended my experience with a 44% tip and said that I would come back when I am in the area. 08/19 I came back to the area, still struggling with Verizon, I decided to come back to The Caffe, the same experience and set up as the first but this time I was closer to the window with more lighting. On this visit I did try the breadstick and yogurt. It was pretty good. I just ate one, I wasn't there for that. LOL! I ordered another French vanilla coffee and The Prospect which consisted of 2 eggs of any style, home fries, choice of pancakes, French toast, or half waffle, served with bacon, ham, or sausage. I chose scrambled eggs, half of a waffle, and turkey bacon. This was pretty delicious, but I could do without the confectionery sugar on the waffle. Not everyone likes confectionery sugar. While drinking the coffee, I was able to spot blond hair around the coffee cup. I am thinking that if this was not a clear coffee cup, I would not have seen it and may have consumed it. At this point the experience was that the food was unhygienic due to hair contamination. When the waiter came over with the bill, long story short, I had to remind him that the coffee was contaminated, and he apologized profusely and apologized again for the oversight. I did not take it out on his tip, I still gave 44% on the original bill. Improvement- When there is a flaw such as hair where there is not supposed to be hair, don't give excuses, just apologize and move on. I won't be back! I have nothing more to say except even in this situation... Inspire more, Yelp more!
