My parents were speaking to a neighbor about the annual property tax assessment and realized they…read morewere paying a significantly higher amount in tax than the neighbor that had a similarly sized home. I contacted the county assessment agency and was told the house was being assessed for having an additional floor of living space. We explained that the information in their system was incorrect. We were then told we would have to schedule a hearing and provide proof that our house had been appraised incorrectly by the county. Specifically, we would need to have our house reappraised and the appraisal documents must be submitted before the hearing scheduled 3 weeks later. I was referred to Mr. Henry by a trusted family friend. Mr. Henry was able to come out the following week and provide a very thorough and professional appraisal of the property. He took the time to speak with my parents and gave us information to assist with the upcoming hearing. Based on the appraisal, the county changed the square footage assessment in their system. I asked to have a couch done in January, Well here it is September and I have drug my feet at every turn with these fine people. And they have accommodated me the whole way. From finding the place to get the fabric to the quality work they've done, they took the lead (happily) on everything. The couch is amazing.
