Took my brother to Red Crab House for some Maryland seafood and I'm honestly mad I didn't try this place sooner, it's only 5 minutes away . Cozy, neighborhood friendly vibe and feels like a great happy hour spot after work. I'm allergic to shellfish and made them aware, ordered the fried fish basket with no issues at all, appreciate the kind waitress! which alone makes me want to return. My brother got a seafood boil and really enjoyed it (he gives it an 8.5... docking points for the paper straws ). Welcome to Maryland! Looking forward to going back and trying more!

This was my second time at this location. The first time the services was lacking the our server were not professional. This time the servers were much better and the food came out much faster. The ambiance was catered to the younger crowd with rap music in background. The bathroom weren't clean and the urinals smelled horrible. I ordered the shrimp po boy and it was basically a bread sandwich. The shrimps weren't bad, too small and just not enough to taste on the sandwich. My family ordered the seafood boil and they enjoyed their food. I don't plan on going back anytime soon.

Discovered this gem tucked into a shopping center in Laurel. It's huge inside with a back room that includes a secondary bar. The menu is unbelievably eclectic from Seafood boils to Philly cheese steaks and fried rice to french fries. I came for the seafood and was not disappointed. Started out with some incredible hushpuppies that included whole pieces of corn and a spicy sauce to dip them in. Also had to try their wings as there were many rave reviews on Yelp about them. Excellent- crispy and meaty with your choice of seasoning. For the seafood boil: Step 1-pick your seafood- I had headless shrimp that were quite large and Snow Crablegs Step 2- choose your seasoning- I had Cajun garlic butter Step 3- choose your level of spice Additionally, your boil bag comes with potatoes and corn on the cob. Just imagine both of these submerged in tangy Cajun garlic butter. The garlic was so plentiful that you could see mounds of it. Don't want to get messy? They give you plastic gloves to use when you dive into the food, but then you loose all the fun of licking your fingers! Really enjoyed my meal. Come on a Wednesday night for Karaoke and discounts on your food if you sing for your supper. Only negative- they should give everyone who orders crab the utensils to crack and pull the meat out. Having only a plastic fork just doesn't do the trick and leads to wasted food.

Philly cheesesteak was packed with flavor only downside was the portion. I paid for extra steak and if this is what you call extra I can only imagine what the regular portion looks like. The catfish was seasoned to perfection no complaints at all there. The sweet potato fries were good I just wish they were fried a little harder. Lastly their prices can't be beat! Highly recommend

Loved how spacious the place was. A great place to bring a big group. The service was tremendous as well! Our server took such good care of us. Refills were flowing and all of our needs taken care of before asking. We all got a boil and for $50, we got a ton of food. Everyone had left overs. The crab boil was delicious but I wish I got a higher spice level. I couldn't taste the heat at all at medium heat level. The calamari appetizer was great along with the mozzarella sticks. Can't wait to go back!

Most people go here for the seafood bags. We had crab legs and a ton of giant shrimp with potatoes and corn in a butter garlic sauce. Were given a choice of appertizers for free. We chose hush puppies. Excellent. Mixed drinks were 8 dollars and very strong. They also serve Chinese rice and hoagies. No salads or vegetables. Lots of leftovers. Old bay wings were good as well.

Looks were really deceiving! I ate just a small piece of one and chose to return full platter.

Visited Oct 2025 and although the bartender who was also our waiter was considerate and helpful, we were vert very displeased with our troublesome food. Unfortunately, I could only eat one of the oysters in the shell platter that I purchased due to the suspicious taste that made me question the freshness of the seafood, so I asked for a refund. To the credit of management, the refund was given -no questions asked - and our waiter removed a full platter of "risky" oysters-in-the half-shell from our table. They looked much better than they tasted. The corn on the cob was very drab tasting, and the mussels even more so sad to say. I left 90% of my meal on the table. My cousin enjoyed her plate of fried shrimp and rice, that is until the very next 2-3 days during which only a dose of probiotics could ease her gastric pain and tummy distress. It seems the outdated look of the interior of this restaurant reflects the state of its seafood dishes. Very drab interior which at first glance made me want to back out slowly but I sat down and ordered bc I was due to report shortly afterwards to an appointment and needed to eat prior to going. Big mistake! This spot must get much better food suppliers bc the seafood served in my opinion tastes subpar which begs the question of its edibility for diners like me who have sensitive pallets and vulnerable stomachs. THREE thumbs down and one fork, one spoon, and one knife down as well.

This place is very unassuming but I can't express enough how good the food is. I highly recommend the friend shrimp but all of the food here is tasty.

My cousin recommended I try this spot while visiting her in Maryland. So said so done. It's a cool chill spot to dine in. My family and I all ordered shrimp, snow crab legs, lobster tail, green mussels, potato's and corn on the cob in garlic butter or there spicy sauce which all tasted so so good. I was the only one who was able to eat all my food and probably still had room for more lol. Everything was delicious and I do recommend. I'll definitely give them another visit when I'm back in town. Cheers

The muffins were kind of dry and there weren't many coffee options. It wasn't terrible but I don't foresee myself going there again.

My schedule was rearranged last minute on a Saturday so I decided to catch their brunch. The laurel location was the closest to me. I was able to reserve a spot at the bar on open table about an hour before arrival . It must have been a lucky day for me because there were plenty vacancies and I didn't need to make a reservation. There was live jazz playing. I sat at the bar - shout out to Nnamdi who was the bartender and my waiter. Food wise: brunch only offers the $55 unlimited food option for two hours. I was completely fine with this as I was able to taste multiple dishes. I had the fried deviled eggs, Rockefeller oysters, bang bang shrimp, deep fried snow crab legs, pork chop and grits, wings in hot honey lemon pepper (their signature sauce) and the white chocolate bread pudding I enjoyed everything except the deep fried crab legs. The cluster was hallow. I had more fried batter than crab meat. Deviled eggs were my favorite of all the things I tried. And the bread pudding was sinfully delicious . I wasn't able to finish my last two items ordered but luckily I was able to fit it in the to-go box. Most places that serve unlimited food don't allow to-go boxes so I was happy to not have my leftovers go to waste. I opted for the bottomless cocktails as well. I stuck to the mimosas and tried the different flavors. The pours were generous. Nnamdi was very attentive and I appreciate him answering all of my clarifying questions as it was my first time. Gratuity is included! I am excited to go back! Before leaving I ordered a cocktail (MisKiri IX) that wasn't included in the bottomless cocktails. It was good. A little too sweet for me but glad I tried it.

She said"the kitchen" messed up packing my order but instead of sending it back, she "fixed it". Honestly it seemed like she was trying to get me my food on time, but management should have been called to solve this problem and ensure I didnt leave the restaurant with collard greens missing all their juices. I didnt know what exactly happened with tje packaging, so since I was told the problem was "fixed", I took my food and left. The worst part was the deviled egg appetizer. Another casualty of the kitchen, apparently. It looked unappetizing when I got home and opened it, and the crab topping that I paid an extra $3 for gave off a very strong smell (reminiscent of the kitchen of a seafood restaurent) and also appeared wet. I'd guess they took crab straight from a can, put it on top of the eggs, and covered it with old bay seasoning. Very disappointing. Sadly these were not the only issues, as the collard greens themselves were bland and a little tough. There was also a wooden stick in my greens?? Not sure why. Although the catfish was fried well, that's the only satisfactory thing about this experience, and everything else ruined it.

I had crab stuffed salmon and it was the best meal I'd had in my 2 weeks of traveling. Not much for ambience or service. You walked up, ordered your food and they called you when it was ready. There were three stuffed salmon on a tray, and I watched them take them out one at a time and serve them. I don't dine at barbecue chains very often since I try to watch my diet, but I was happy to find plenty of options that weren't overly greasy, fried, or smothered in sauce. The meats are slow-smoked, and a variety of house barbecue sauces are conveniently available at each table so you can customize the flavor to your liking. Parking is easy, with a large free lot behind the building as well as free street parking nearby. We visited on a Friday afternoon with a group of 10 and were seated together without any problem. They also accommodated separate checks, which is always appreciated for larger groups. The dining room has a comfortable, spacious feel with dark wood accents and nostalgic photos and posters decorating the walls. The menu offers a good variety of barbecue favorites, combination platters, salads, and lunch specials. One member of our group needed gluten-free options, and the staff helped her find a meal that worked well for her dietary needs. Most of us ordered the pulled pork sandwich, while others chose salads. We also shared the onion loaf appetizer, which disappeared quickly. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. The portions were generous, prices were reasonable, and the quality exceeded my expectations. I'd happily return with family to sample more of their smoked meats--especially the ribs.
