Best crab legs ever! I can't have enough of them. Never been disappointed. Has the right amount of spice.

W/shrimpw/o head & snow cran legs infused with their special chili seasoning (its amazing) totally bursting with flavor and heat! ** the first time the food was delivered with head on the shrimp. appetite went down. ** second time it came out it was great, the chili seasoning was amazing yhe corn was sweet and spicy, the crab legs was sweet and juicy! Little one had the fried shrimp basket with regular fries, the shrimp were very juicy with a light and flaky crust very yummy! I want to say thank you for brining this awesome place to Laurel. I live about 20 mins away and it's nice not having to venture into DC for a crab boil. I stopped by while passing through to try it. I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly and I just made it at the beginning of happy hour. I ordered the shrimp, calamari rings, and chicken wings. Every thing was delicious. The shrimp were surprisingly large and had a good batter seasoned well. Hands down a great spot! I will definitely be back for the boil! Decided to go out for dinner with my roommate who was craving seafood. I ordered a catfish and oyster basket with sweet potato fries. It was really yummy. The food came out piping hot which is always a plus for me. I would suggest using thicker pieces of catfish because my portion was a little thin for my liking. My roommate ordered a boil which consisted of crab legs and shrimp. She ordered it with the red crab special seasoning with a spice level of hot. This was my roommate's second time here and she ordered the same thing that was previously ordered but this time she was adamant that it wasn't the same. She reached out to the server and the server seemed to observe that it didn't look like what the order normally looks like. Long story short the server took it back and returned with the correct flavors. My roommate was pleased. We also tried the hush puppies which were sweet with corn in the middle. I enjoyed them. Their soft boiled seafood was unbelievably delicious. I had shrimp w/o heads and Dungeness crab legs which was placed tied in a plastic bag with delicious butter and garlic w/Cajun seasoning and a 1/2 cob of corn and red potato. The seafood was so fresh and succulent. Be sure to try the hush puppies or fried popcorn shrimp for an appetizer. My friend had fried oysters and they were amazing too. Our wait, Shyla, was fantastic and enhanced our experience with her knowledge and expertise. The manager, Jenny, was also very warm & friendly, too!! They do not have a proper waiting list or process. They sat a couple that had arrived before us and another couple who was already waiting. They seated us fast once we said something. The restaurant is spacious, clean, has many TVs, a large bar area, and comfortable seating. They have a "make your own seafood combo" option where you choose two or more seafood items that come with corn and potatoes. I chose green mussels and shrimp and also ordered fried calamari, hush puppies, and sweet potato fries. Everything was SO GOOD, and the fried calamari was probably the BEST I've ever had. I went to Red Crab House last night for a birthday dinner. The house blend sauce was really good with the boil bag. My boyfriend ordered a catfish basket and was disappointed with his meal. The catfish was too salty. However, the customer service was horrible. Once I got to the hostess stand, the hostesses were talking among upon each other as if I'm not standing there waiting to ask where my friend was seated. The waitress was not attentive to needs like a straw for my drink, napkins and utensils to use. Also, our food took forever to come out in comparison to other nearby tables. I wouldn't recommend this location. There are similar establishments with the seafood boil bags concept that you should go to. read more

This past visit was not it, the floors were sticky, the waitress was very off, like not sure if she was under the influence or what. Our waitress couldn't do more than one thing at a time, other guest seated in her area kept calling her asking for things and she would forget. Our first drinks were horrible, tasted like soda, so we ordered different drinks and it actually had alcohol in them. The food was wayyyy toooo salty! Like everything tasted like straight salt. My friend and I ordered the shrimp basket for our appetizer, with two shrimp fried rice as our main, and it was dry and salty. No seasoning in any of the food, just a whole lot of salt. Are they trying to kill their customers or something. Neither of us ate our fried rice and our waitress kept asking if I wanted a takeout container, I said, "no." The bill was $74 and change and gave her a $25 tip even though she was the worst waitress I had ever had. I left my food as it was and we left. Highly recommend this place! Food was delish! I ordered the seafood boil special they had which included snow crab legs, mussells, shrimp, corn, and potatoes for $50. Portion size was good as 2 or 3 people can eat off this boil so I had plenty of leftovers. The only complaint is the music is a little too loud. You'd think you were in a club...lol We had to ask to be seated in a quieter area which was difficult to find bc speakers are everywhere. They definitely should reconsider their music selections & volume because not everyone wants to hear trap music blasting at 8pm! At least wait until 9:30-10 to get ratchet! This used to be one of my favorite spots. I went there on 3/19/22 and was seated right away. 20-25 minutes later, we're still sitting there. No server, no drinks, no hello, nothing. In the meantime, there was another table that came in after us, ordered their food, and received there food. I went to the owner since she's the one who seated us. I told her that we were still waiting. She said that she'd be right over and would take care of us herself. She comes to the table, confirms that we didn't have a server, and goes in the back. Our server comes over to our table and says " they keep moving me out of my area then expect me to know when someone has been seated. Can I help you with something to drink?" Normally we LOVE this spot! The food, atmosphere, prices and music are always consistent. All through the pandemic we ordered take out and while sometimes there was a wait it was usually a professional exchange. The owner would often come out and ask how we were doing. Tonight however, 7:30 on a Saturday we were surprised to not have to wait to be seated immediately which was great. It wasn't packed at the usual busy time which was weird. But the service has seriously declined so that explains the la k of a crowd. When we walked in and up to the counter The hostesses did not say a word to us but had a whole conversation with their backs to us and while walking away gestured for us to follow. Ok it was loud and maybe the waitress was special and non verbal. So we followed her to a table where she promptly dropped the menus and dashed away before we caught up to her. No greetings or saying our server will be with us etc. not indicative of previous experiences. So finally we see our server and immediately order, the food was great and came out quickly but we never saw her again. We never got refills or asked if we needed to order anything else. When we were finished I went to wash my hands and asked my fiancé to ask her for more water, but when I came back we didn't see her for another 20 mins. She came and glanced at the table and ran back to bring our water and quickly I asked her to bring us the check before she disappeared again. Without apologizing or even standing At our table she mumbled about a big birthday party at the next table as she walked away. Um there were 5 people and I was sitting next to them so I could see that she was barely there. I get that they could be busy and that's ok but all the other tables were being check on. The waiter at the table next to us was constantly checking on them. I don't mind dining in a busy restaurant especially here but I don't want to be lied to and neglected. If the owner is reading this you can verify I'm saying everything on the cameras and the time stamps. As I said the food is good but I'm sad about the poor service.
