Such an odd meal. We're new to the area and were looking for whole boiled lobster for my son's birthday and this place came up. Supposedly it's seafood with Cajun flair? He was pretty excited. We went on a Monday and there were only a few other people there. Major first issue, they no longer serve the boiled lobster that is front and center on their menu... only the lobster TALES for $41!! The menus are paper and could easily be marked to show they don't sell it... or at the very least the server could MENTION that it's not available when she brings the menus. I asked twice if the $41 was the price for JUST the lobster and she said that it was, so we ordered additional sides. The menu was unusual... SOME spicy seafood items mixed in with stuff you'd only ever see on a menu in an Asian Restaurant. Fried dumplings, crab rangoon... and the $14 "Cajun Spicy Rice w/Shrimp" was literally a bowl of Asian fried rice with shrimp, not the least bit spicy OR Cajun. The woman that seated and served us was absolutely FLAT in her demeanor. Everyone is human and people have bad days, but she didn't smile a single time. I told her we were celebrating his birthday and she didn't even NOD in acknowledgment, just stood silently waiting for us to order... it was awkward. We felt like we were putting her out, like she had somewhere else to be and couldn't be bothered. They cover the table with a piece of brown paper, but the areas it doesn't reach were sticky like old kitchen grease. They bring the absolutely cheapest plastic utensils, the forks were so flimsy that we had trouble getting the meat out of the shell with them and finally had to ask if they had any metal ones. (They did, which begs the question, why don't they bring them to start?) They don't bring a nut cracker or a pick either, or even a table knife. It was a pretty messy meal. The lobster tails INCLUDED corn on the cob and potatoes, so we ended up with enough food for an entire second meal. In terms of the meal itself, it was pretty good. The Cajun fries were great, the onion rings too. I had some of the best fried whole clams and scallops of my life. The fried dumplings were also spectacular, though they don't offer dumpling sauce, only packets of soy sauce. The Cajun Rice was meh... it was disappointing for $14 and really hard to eat with the tiny plastic fork. The bill came to $104 before tip. Crazy that those prices don't justify real tableware. We'll definitely try it at least once more (maybe as takeout)... hopefully there will be a new server or she'll be in a better mood. read more

Me and my boyfriend went here for my bday dinner.. great seafood boil.. but that's as good as it gets! Waitress was extremely rude on her phone probably 90% of the time she was serving us, barely checked on us and proceeded to get frustrated because she couldn't understand what my boyfriend said IN ENGLISH when we finished eating we sat around for 10-15 minutes while she sat on her phone AGAIN. And as a server i've never seen an empty restaurant on a saturday night at 6:30... Great for good food but don't expect a good service. read more

If you're into Crab Legs, this seems to be a go-to place. I went for a Fish dinner, on a Friday. It was OK. Just OK. So was the Clam Chowder. Just OK. - paper cup, plastic utensils. I really can't say I'd go back, since I'd rather try someplace else close to IO, when I don't feel like driving to Crazy Jake's. Good food, great and attentive staff, and a damn good ambiance. Our server, Kristina made the night perfect by helping us choose the perfect combo for a seafood boil. We went with the Weekend Boil with lemon pepper and medium spice, onion rings, and a clam chowder. Kristina also helped us by walking us newbies through the lay of the land. And brought us the tools necessary to make our meal perfect. She explained it perfectly. My only complaint was the clam chowder was too hot! What a great complaint. 10/10. Loved it. Yikes! So, I want to give them a better rating but seafood is extremely pricey and if I lie it may lead to others coming and wasting money. So, do not come here thinking you are going to get real hush puppies. They are gross. They should consider naming them something different. It was creamy and had corn in it. We seriously came here thinking we were going to get hush puppies! Nope. They did have a coupon on Yelp so we got free mozzarella sticks. Average at best. The shrimp basket was good. The sweet potato fries could have used a little powdered sugar on top. The Cajun fries needed more flavor. My experience wasn't a good one. I have been to several Juicy Seafoods around the Country. This particular one was nice. Not many people were here. They have a nice bar, televisions around the restaurant showing football and other shows on. This restaurant also have lots of takeouts as well. Many orders were on the counter for customers to pay and pick up. Cindy was our waitress. Our visit- My husband and I were really happy they had one here in Massachusetts. I checked in on Yelp and received a free order of cheese sticks or onion rings. We chose the cheese sticks. Next, we put in our drinks which was water with lemon on the side for my husband and fruit punch for me. After that, we ordered. I wanted the 1/2 pound of shrimp with no head, but because the waitress said that the 1/2 of pound won't come with a corn and potato, my husband said to just get the pound of shrimp with no head. I had 2 boiled eggs with that. My husband ordered the same as me, but sausage with his. I had the juicy mild and my husband had the juicy medium seasoning. The juicy mild was not that great here. It kind of tasted too watered down. The seasoning could've been much better. My husband liked his because the medium he said was seasoned well and had a kick of heat (spicy) to it. I told him that the sausage I'm sure is the seasoning. He agreed. I don't eat sausage, so I declined to taste his seasoning. We didn't eat all of our food. We took the free cheese sticks and a lot of the shrimp boil with us. I never eat leftovers, so my husband will take it to work tomorrow. If I had to do it all over again, I would get the 1/2 a pound of shrimp, no potato, pay for the corn and the 2 eggs. The potato I didn't like in the shrimp boil. Also, We didn't like the fact that the waitress kept coming to our table once she gave us the check. I don't like to be rushed and furthermore we were packing up our leftovers. I'm not sure if she was trying to see how much was her tip or what. But that is not professional or courteous. She saw us packing up, so give us time to do that. My friend invited me for lunch recently and this place was a lot of fun. It's not inexpensive for a seafood bag but good seafood isn't inexpensive. We ordered the weekend special which was a little under $30. The seafood came in a bag with potatoes and corn and the sauce of our choice. It was a little bit salty but scrumptious. This is super messy eating with your hands. Add on that the conversation was in American Sign Language and you can picture the butter dripping down to our elbows and shells flying everywhere. I decided to do an order for takeout. The woman on the phone was rather rude. I decided on a poor bo, wings, and squid. Absolutely the worst food ever--food was crispy and crunchy, however, the food was tasteless. There was absolutely no seasoning of any kind. Gorton's frozen fish products have more flavor. Ordered take out mostly but the last time decided to actually bring my wife and kid here. I always get king crab legs with pretty much everything. Scallops, shrimp, crawfish, corn, potatoes, sausage and sometimes even added snow crab legs. With all the spices. We got some Piña Coladas, I had regular with alcohol and my wife had a virgin one. Both were really good! DO NOT COME HERE HUNGRY LOL! This platter did cost me a lot and that was the most I spent on food! I say to kinda have just a little bit between two people, if you like seafood it'll be around $90-$120. If you get everything like I did the last time, then it's around $400-$500 for a big platter lol. Would be good for a group of people. We had lots of leftovers to take home and finished them later. Seafood was prepared quick and it was pretty good with the sauce, def recommend the garlic butter or all juicy if you like all the flavors combined. The garlic noodles were okay, felt that it wasn't cooked all the way through and mixed with the sauce on top of the other sauce didn't blend well. The price is fair especially for seafood so I think it's worth the visit. We have been here several times and the food is always excellent. The price is decent for what you get. The service seems to be getting worse every time we come here. We were seated quickly and the hostess was kind and pleasant. We sat for a very long time waiting for the waitress who we watched stand in the kitchen door way talking on her phone. When she came over she continued to talk on the phone while we were placing our order. We couldnt distinguish if she was talking to us or the person in the phone. When I maid mention of it she pointed to her ear piece and said she was on the phone. When the drinks came she brought the wrong ones. She seemed unhappy and was decently unfriendly. I then ordered a side of garlic noodles $4.75 , not bad . Then I tried the fried oysters with upgraded onion rings , well I got fries , oops. I ordered for the first time through doordash last night, and although the delivery person was a complete disaster as it took an hour-and-a-half to arrive, the food was great. Just received 2 orders of whole belly clams and french fries. This had to be the worst clams I have ever eaten. They were not whole belly clams to begin with. The bag comes with 1/2 pound of crab legs, a lobster tail, 1/2 pound of shrimp, 2 potatoes, an ear of corn....It was finger licking good. Visiting from out of town and the experience overall was disappointing. There was very little sauce in the bag and it had very little color. We had to ask for more because it didn't even cover our seafood. The half pound of shrimp was only six shrimp and it was clearly not half a pound lol (I know only because I always get half a pound). Getting an extra lime was a hassle for some reason ... very odd. Once we added more sauce the food was good taste-wise just wish we had gotten what we paid for :/. At the end, the staff sat together at a long table with food not on the menu and had dinner together which was sweet except there were customers still in the store and the food was Asian cuisine so it stood out considering we were in a crab spot. I ordered the garlic and butter snow crab legs and it was actually pretty good. Also got an order of sweet Thai and buffalo wings and they were very good. With that being said that's the only positive about this place. Service was fell below expectations and I felt rushed. If you do decide to visit please stay away from the restroom. I have been here quite a few times since they opened last month, we just can't stay away! My husband, who isn't a big fan of seafood normally, now counts this among his favorite restaurants. He likes the headless shrimp boil and the lemon pepper wings (he gets mild juicy special seasoning on the shrimp). I have tried a number of things and liked all of them (crab legs, lobster tail, headless shrimp, mussels). The lobster tail is my favorite. I also like the mild juicy special seasoning. The potato and corn are kind of meh but that's not what you are there for. Portion sizes are good for the price and the servers are always super friendly. Food comes out really fast and restaurant is clean. They don't have little forks for the crab legs but they do have crackers to break them open now. I can't stay away from this place! read more

Went last night with 8 adults and three kids under 2. The place was spotless and our waitress was wonderful (wish I got her name). We were a little leery having the kids with us but they accommodated them perfectly! The food was absolutely superb! Lots of different items were ordered and they were all great! Seriously the best choice of sauces and spices ever! I can't have anything too spicy so it was a treat to be able to choose! Next trip back to Western Mass we will be back! The service and the sauce were good. My wife and I ordered 2 appetizers. The Hushpuppies were a little 'different'. They were deep fried dough, stuffed with creamed corn. The fried squid, looked like a basket full of greasy onion rings. We had 2 of the dinners; whole belly clams, and fried scallops. We substituted the french fries with the onion rings, again very greasy. The meal really had no flavor to it. The only flavor, was the tartar sauce and the ketchup. We decided to leave, and take 1/2 of the food with us. Needless to say, we will NOT be returning. If you're ever in the mood for a quick, inexpensive fish meal, get a sandwich from McDonald's.
