I was visiting the La Verne area in preparation to move there and decided celebrate national Pi day the right way: with an amazing pizza. Red Devil pizza did not disappoint. Once my significant other and I were seating we were taken care of immediately despite the place being packed with the late dinner crowd. Our medium pizza arrived within 15 minutes and was hot. We had the pizza (I can't remeber the name) with all the meats and honestly it was amazing. I was stuffed and we couldn't not finish the pie so I recommend the small pie for two people. I strongly advise anyone visiting the area to grab some pizza at red devil and I will be a frequent customer once I move to the area. read more

Today I stopped by with my wife and kids, the place was a bit busy. We were the first in line, but they seemed not to care as a caucasian lady walked in with her family and were seated before us. This is rude and they shouldn't do this to any customer hispanic or not! if you are taking names and writing them down I would think it is for a reason. We walked out as I took that personal, I will never go back there as there are plenty of pizza places around that I'm sure don't do this to their loyal customers. This is the best pizza in LaVerne ever since Nancy's closed down. I recommend eating at the restaurant because the atmosphere is fun, everyone is very nice, and the draft beer is good! I always get the pizza, but the meatball sandwiches are bomb as well! If you plan on having them deliver, expect a 45 minute to an hour wait. read more

We ordered pizza to be delivered, it arrived over cooked and dry like a cracker! Really?? We asked to have a new one made and asked for a soda too, they rose to the occasion and redeemed themselves. This is the first time that I had tried Red Devil Pizza and I hope they were just having an "off" day. We had a company function and ordered several differnt pizzas. The presentation looked good minus the pools of grease sitting on top of the pepperoni. But I have to say it is the blandest tomatoes sauce I have ever had. That right there ruined the pizza experience in itself and I was so looking forward to it. Can't say I would suggest ordering from there again. read more

my new favorite pizza place came in on a friday night around 7pm and it was packed so i knew it would be worth the wait, as i waited i watch these mouth watering pizza go in to the oven. we waiting around 30 min not to bad. our server was katie, she did great for it to be as busy as it was, the service was great. the food was amazing we had the joeys special and the cheese bread omg delicious my husband said it was the best pizza he had ever had lol. it was by far on the top 3 of my pizza list. the best part was we had left overs and the pizza warmed up amazing as if it was fresh. it was even good cold lol, now thats good pizza. will defintaly be back. read more

My daughter signed up for a paint thing. Upon arrival we were told it cancled. The staff proceeded to tell us that the paint company had not showed up many times with no calls so they no longer held spots. We were stuck... So we made the best of it with an amazing staff from Red Devil pizza. They were accommodating. And had smiles .. We wound up eating here while we figured out what to do and let me tell you ... I moved back to La Verne after a 30 plus year absence. First time I tried Red Devil pizza since The original Sal's Red Devil pizza opened. Very disappointed with the Joeys Special. It lacked flavor and was one of, if not the greasiest pizzas I have ever had. Had I not had it delivered I would have refused it. Too bad, it's not at all what I remember and I was so looking forward to having found a great pizza place. Guess I will keep looking. Anyone have any suggestions?? Again, it's amazing how many good pizza places there are in La Verne. This is one of them and, in terms of straight pizza, one of the best. Good sauce, great toppings, quality cheese and served with a big smile from everyone on the staff. Can't complain about the salads, sandwiches or pasta because they're all good, but the pizza is king here. Downsides -- The dining room seating is a strange configuration and doesn't promote really big groups. But there are plenty of TVs and the service really is as friendly as it gets. It's also not the cheapest pie in town, but one taste and its obvious the quality more than makes up for the extra shekels! The lunch specials are highly recommended, but don't think its just a lunch place. Dinner here is a great choice. I've never done the delivery, but I have to believe if they can do it in house, they can get it to your house. read more

Our all time favorite Pizza n Stuff was closed last Sunday so we decided to come here and glad we did! Pizza is amazing! It's just the perfect amount of dough, cheese and toppings! I don't know what took us too long to come back here but im glad we did. Really great local pizza shop that's been around for a long time in La Verne. Their "dishwasher pizza" is my personal favorite as it's loaded with pepperoni, bacon, pineapple, and jalapeno. Their breadsticks and salads are all also really good. I would not recommend their sandwiches as they are very plain and not worth paying for. I definitely would choose this place over a fast-food pizza chain any day as their pizza, breadsticks, and salads are all really good! read more

This place gets two stars because of it's pricing points.. I bought a large pizza for 22 and some change which is ridiculous. Because it starts off with the basic cheese large pizza for 1599 two dollars for additional toppings. Which is really ridiculous because they only give you two pepperonis per slice if that. The Quality of pizza is ok. The only critique I have is they give you an abundance amount of cheese and sauce skeezy with the meat toppings. This is why I would recommend a better price point and more specials because they have none.. read more

The pizza here tastes good when ordered in restaurant while sitting down- that is of course if you can get a waiter's attention. You can enjoy their take out selection if you're ok with having the pizza sit atop the oven drying out while you drive over to pick it up. Tried Red Devil for the first time on Saturday night. My son, who attends the University of La Verne, suggested we try it and I was not disappointed. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The pizza is pretty solid too. Great crust, plenty of toppings and a flavorful sauce. We didn't try the bread sticks but our waitress said they are a must try. Also, the pasta carbonara looked delicious. It's a heaping plate, so may try that next time. To me, this is the perfect spot for pizza, some hearty pasta, a glass of wine or beer in a chilled glass. It's not fancy, and it gets busy, but it's definitely worth a try. read more

Stopped by last week and they were slammed with orders, so the cashier informed us if you be about 45 minutes for our take out order. So we took a seat and had two super cold Bud Light tall mugs and just before we finished them our order was ready which had only been about 25 min, and when we got home the food tasted excellent.....Bravo to the great staff. read more

Don't be fooled by the name- all red devils are not created equally!! La Verne red devil is the BEST!! There's one in Covina which use to be good, however not any more. I'm not sure if they were ever affiliated. This red devil we have been going to for years, since I was a child- which now I take my kids there. (And we are like 4 cities away) My kids love their Pepperoni Sausage Pizza, and cheese bread . Yum.. If u r looking for great pizza, good service and a cold beer.. u found your place!! read more

After a long day hiking this place was a welcome suprise. Was able to get two pizza's an order of cheesebread (recommended) and drinks for a family of 5 for around 23.00. They have some good looking specialty pizzas or you can even choose size and topping; all reasonably priced. And for you beer lovers they have plenty of that also. read more

I really wanted to have a good experience here because I'm not feeling any of the other pizza places in La Verne...I really did...Unfortunately, it didn't happen however. I ordered a pizza and salad to go and was told it'd be 25 minutes so I ordered a beer and grabbed a table to wait. 35 minutes go by with nothing so I flag a server down who then went to check on it for me. A few minutes later she returns and says "it'll be another 5 minutes". Okay...so then we're looking at probably 45 minutes...okay they kinda got crowded as I waited so I'll be patient. Another 15 minutes pass with nothing so I move back to the counter and wait a few minutes (it's been an hour now). No one offered me any help so I asked a server behind the counter to please check on my order. She goes over to the oven and says "this has been sitting here an hour" and pulls my pizza box out from under like 5 other pizzas. Then she goes to a cook and asks them to make my salad. W T F ! ? ! ? ! ? So after another couple of minutes she hands me my cold, forgotten pizza and my forgotten salad and says "thank you". ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Thank you? I just paid like $45 for 1 large pizza, 2 small salads, and a couple beers. I waited 70 minutes for this cold, spongy, over priced, forgotten, sorry pizza! Thank you? How about a discount? A coupon?
