Within an hour of me arriving in town, this is where we went. It was quite lively for a Tuesday, but the more the merrier. We managed to snag a spot by the end of the bar (closest to the restrooms). We were immediately helped and we both decided to get passion fruit margaritas on the rocks. The pour was heavy but the taste was even better. This place was so much fun. It's hard to believe it's a dive bar because of how much fun everyone seemed to have. If I'm not mistaken, I think they may have pool tables as well. We didn't stay long as we intended to start our night there, get a drink and go. Overall, this is a great for people watching, cheap drinks, and karaoke.

After several minutes with no drinks and no acknowledgment, I had to walk over to the hostess stand myself just to get a menu. Twenty minutes in, we still hadn't received our drinks, so we told her to cancel the order and let her know we were leaving. She genuinely seemed surprised when we explained how long we'd been waiting, which was surprising in itself given she was the one who left us sitting there -- and the manager standing right there did nothing to help. With only two other guests at the bar, this should have been an easy shift. Disappointing experience and won't be back!

Well, I am happy to report that it IS true, that Petit & Keet is an outstanding restaurant. We made it in, in time for their terrific happy hour at the bar. Packed at 5:00 PM on a Tuesday (who woulda thunk that?) we were able to squeeze in and jump in on their goodies. The HH Menu was so appealing we would up just tasting several things; for starters, their signature frozen drink, the Peechy Keet, was absolutely phenomenal (it might also be because it was over 100 degrees outside). Not too sweet, nicely fruity and packing a punch. The Crudites was atypical with a larger assortment of veggies (including some tasty Sheshido peppers) and a really, unique and delish hummus. Next up; the Tuna Tostada. This could actually be my favorite item on the menu; sashimi grade tuna on a larger Tostada, perfectly marinated. Yummy. We topped things off with the Empanadas' that were also delectable; plenty of filling, not overly fried so as to be firm but chewable. A special note to the management; your bartender (sorry, her name escapes me, but she's in the pic with my wife and me) was as phenomenal as the food & drink (and the decor; sorry I hadn't mentioned that before, but it is a lovely space). She was everything (and more) for what someone behind the bar should be, an expert concotionist, professional, fun (and funny) and on top of everything at a packed bar/restaurant. Can you say "deserves a raise" with me? Also, loved the story of the place on the menu. It feels great to see a local place like Petit and Keet deliver top notch food, service and environment.

The menu provides a pretty broad offering. The food, portions and service were all about average. The decoration was interesting.I absolutely love the menu and the variety of choices offered. I'm a huge chicken piccata fan, mostly because I love butter & capers, but I was left underwhelmed with this version. Breading was super thick instead of a dredge of flour and there were no capers or butter sauce present. There was however a side of a thick, not very tasty lemon sauce included on the plate. Sides were delicious and other diners at the table much enjoyed their meals. My #1 reason for the so-so rating is there is no excuse for a dirty restaurant. read more

Snippy waiter, dirty, dingy, dark, breakfast was ordinary. Eggs were good, sausage patties had consistency of dog food, potatoes tasted like frozen then warmed up. Not the best! They add 17% gratuity automatically to each bill. One menu item that I considered but didn't get was the steak and eggs for $30. I went early on a Tues and when I walked in I wasn't sure they were open. I walked in 3 steps and the antagonistic waiter greeted me with, "have patience" before I even got a chance to ask if they were open. My wife and I were the only customers. read more

I came here for brunch with my mother. It was good but the food came out a bit late. We were on the edge of leaving after 30 mins. They did come by and offer us to comp our mimosas so I know they honestly did care. The came by to always ask us how we were doing and apologize about the delay. The food was great. We had the pleasure of eating at Red Door Saturday evening. Our server, Clint, was very attentive and accommodating. We enjoyed the best bruschetta we've had and then split a wonderful Cuban Sandwich with combo fries (white & sweet potato), which were very good as well. I simply wanted to place an over the phone order when Cecilia began to use racial slurs and then proceeded to cancel my order when I would not allow her to further disrespect me. After waiting with no acknowledgment at all, we decided to leave. I understand that busy weekends can lead to delays, and mistakes like technology issues happen. What was most disappointing was the lack of communication and attentiveness throughout our visit. An acknowledgment or update would have gone a long way. We left feeling overlooked and unwelcome, and can't recommend this restaurant based on our experience.
