Horrible. Do not eat here. They used to be a decent restaurant but have only gone further and further downhill. THEY HAVE RATS!! My friend turned them into the health inspector recently, and as of today (Valentine's Day 2019) they have been shut down. I feel so sorry for anybody who wanted to have a romantic dinner there tonight. If they happen to reopen anytime soon I urge you to research their health inspections, a new one should be posted in the next few days. Aside from the blatant, DISGUSTING reasons that you should not eat there, their food is mediocre and their service is poor. Literally go to any other Chinese restaurant/Asian fusion restaurant in Brevard and you will have a beautiful time. Great staff. The food is authentic Chinese and not the cookie cutter greasy Chinese food. Food came out within 20 mins, restaurant is clean, menu is diverse and took us in even when they are closing at 9:30pm when we came in at 9:07. Staff was very polite. read more

Ordered through Grubhub now for the second time the driver showed up with the food an hour early, for the second time. I told the driver I was hesitant to accept the order as my husband wasn't home from work yet. Driver told me he would return the food and have it recooked.... Um ok.... I call the restaurant and was told I need to go directly though them and not grubhub? I guess this is my punishment? Driver comes back now on time... of course the containers were hot but the fried wontons were soggy, the food Luke warm, and the order was wrong... all for $60! I'm done! read more

Food very tasty but had Singapore noodles - great curry but done with angel hair pasta. I usually see it with a flat noodle so that was I unusual but still very tasty. Wait times were long between order drinks and then the food. Nice place but wait times impact the experience. read more

We ordered the sweet and sour chicken just now, and received several nuggets that were just bread. I called and spoke with the manager, and told him that we received several pieces of breading and not breaded chicken. He laughed at me over the phone, and said that they've been there for 20 years. I asked home if that's how he normally does business, and he laughed at me and asked me what he wants me to do. Unreal, very unprofessional, never apologized, and tried to make me feel like I was in the wrong for bringing this to his attention. I have worked in the retail and the restaurant business, and I've never seen such a pretentious attitude. I will never order from them again...by the way, we've been ordering from them for years. Went here for the first time recently. No complaints with the food we ordered, everything was very good. But we had checked out the menu online ahead of time and picked out what we wanted. When we got there, the menu was completely different. We figured out the menu they have online is their takeout menu. Very confusing, and why can't they serve the same items for dine in as they offer for takeout? We aren't likely to dine in again for that reason, as our favorite dishes are only on the takeout menu, and we were very disappointed we couldn't get them in the restaurant. read more

Dim sum was very pricey and disappointing. I ordered the pork bun and shrimp dumpling. The pork bun had a little ball of meat inside. It was definitely not fresh. Shrimp dumpling didn't taste very good either. Two items cost almost $18. read more

Great Place! I am surprised it wasn't busy! This place is a mix of Chinese, Thai, and Japanese. Usually I don't like these places, but this one was a good place to get some grub! Great Decor, and lots of room for lots of people! Food was excellent. Staff was great! Our Waitress had a fun personality, and she put up with our jokes and behavior very well! We weren't rude at all, but we did give her some tasks to complete and she took them in stride. I even got her to try Srirachi for her first time! Appetizer - Summer Roll Non-fried rolls with shrimp, noodles, and vegetables. They were pretty good, roll itself was pretty loose, but they tasted great. Sushi - Dragon Roll This was very good! Great presentation, and it tasted excellent as well. It was slightly warm from tempura shrimp and it made it wonderful. Very very good, I wish this was an all you can eat Sushi place, I would have loved to try it all! Main meal - Chicken Phad Thai The only thing I could think of that this lacked was a few more vegetables, and lime. It needed just a little more lime juice. But overall it was delicious! Afterwards they brought out fortune cookies, and 1/4 orange. Haven't seen a piece of fruit delivered with the check and cookies, but it was nice to see something new. read more

This is the ABSOLUTE BEST Chinese food EVER! Everything here is INCREDIBLY, including the sush... YES! They have SUSHI! Everything is fresh, made to order, and incredibly. Plus, the menu is incredibly extensive, so it'll take like 1000 visits to taste everything, but trust me, after your first bite, you won't mind coming back again and again! P.S. Red Ginger is a great place! The restaurant itself is clean and nicely decorated. The customer service is top notch with friendly and very attentive staff. The food itself is really good! This last time I had sushi, which was fresh and pretty tasty. But in the past I've had several of their Chinese dishes. There is something about their fried rice which I just absolutely love! I went here for lunch recently with a friend. We are both vegetarian. There were three different options for vegetarian on the lunch special menu that our waiter gave us so me and my friend opted for the veg sushi combo. It came with a miso soup with a little bit of sea weed as well as tiny portion of tofu and a decent sized salad with a tasty ginger dressing. The sushi arrived and wasn't filling to either of us at all. It was a few very small pieces of cucumber and avocado sushi and asparagus sushi. It cost nearly $23 dollars for the two of us and neither of us were filled. It was a shame after the way out I noticed a regular menu that included non-lunch special items that including several tofu and vegetable dishes that looked much more substantial. It would have been nice if our waiter told us about the other menu with more substantial options. For the experience I give it 2 stars and in a pinch would come back again to try off the menu. read more

Finally! An Asian cuisine restaurant with choices both my husband and I enjoy. I can eat almost any Chinese (or Vietnamese or Thai or Japanese) but the hubs is picky. Overpriced, mediocre food and small portions!! Tasteless sauces!! I wouldn't mind the price if the food were even decent, I usually spend about twenty bucks for an entree at most restaurants in this category!! However in the case of Ginger, I prefer a fast food chinese or local hole in the wall to this place!! Give me Panda Express Teriyaki or Orange Chicken (in fact I could buy both for half of what the tasteless chicken I got at Ginger cost)!! Or I could go to HopBo takeout and get twice as much Delicious Lemon chicken for half the price of Ginger's tasteless tiny portioned lousy Lemon Chicken!! I've been coming to this restaurant for about five years now. The lunch portions and the prices are an outstanding value. For about $10, you could do for a lot worse spending the same amount of money at a fast food chain on a "value meal". Service is always above expectation, and I've never had an issue with the quality of the food. An institution that must be visited in the Suntree area. I highly recommend the hot and sour soup, and the chicken with jalapeño. Rachael the general manager is usually always on the floor. First time visit this Chinese restaurant, I unlike others didn't mind the decor. I felt it was cozy, music was relaxing, white tablecloth made it fancy like and you have the option of restaurant or bar seating. The food was fine, big portions. Their flavor is a bit different than I expected but good. The staff was very friendly, the owner was extremely nice and shared lots of information with us. If you're in a rush this isn't the place for you, it's not a fast food(unless your ordering take out) The dumplings are the best item on the menu.. We will return in the future. read more

The management has changed and brought a very poor experience with it. This is not the Red Ginger that you think that you know. My wife and I used to be frequent customers and the authenticity was always a crowning touch. All that I heard last evening was a new manager boasting about "her" restaurant. I ordered a Spider Roll, which was not supposed to have eel sauce on it - not on the description. I am a diabetic and when it showed up with very little soft shelled crab and a mass of eel sauce on it, I knew that my evening was ruined. I ordered as a main, the Szechuan shredded beef, which has always been excellent at this restaurant. The beef was not exactly shredded and there was no flavor to the sauce. I also ordered "Drunken Noodles" as a take out item. What I got was not Chinese noodles, but rather, something similar to Muellers broad noodles, mixed with something that sort of resembled an american casserole. The "hot and sour" soup was neither. The rice was overcooked. The usual attentive service was more like an american teenager who did not really understand anything about ambiance. If you are looking for the "old" Red Ginger, it is not here anymore. read more

Wow. Just wow. The girl on the other side of the phone tells me in an annoyed voice to hold on. Sure, no problem. She puts the phone down and proceeds to yell out f bombs to someone near her. All I could hear is her yelling to something things like "W...T..F....." What is he f...ing thinking"...followed by another 2 mins of her cussing to a male near her (directed at someone else) until I hung up. Best Chinese in the area hands down! There's always a crowd on Monday and Tuesday to see Nick at the bar or Amy in the dining room. There's happy hour(2 for one1!!!!!) all day and double points for the rewards program. HI folks, Just have to share our experience at Red Ginger (Suntree). Our group of 8 "foodies" went last Friday, and we had asked for one of the private rooms and had asked Jimmy (Grace's husband) to make us a special feast. And special it was. Red Ginger has a new chef, and he is incredible. He created a feast for us of about 6 appetizers and 6 entrees to share, with a soup course and dessert afterwards. Included fish, chicken, duck, vegetable dishes, pork, and more. The flavors are probably stronger than what would be on their usual menu, and absolutely wonderful. Grace came in to greet us, and they introduced us to the chef, who doesn't speak much English, but I think he understood the round of applause we gave him. I was having such a good time I forgot to take pictures. Can't wait to get back there and do it again! read more

Honestly speaking, red ginger is the best authentic Chinese restaurant in Melbourne and Orlando area based on my experience. I have lived in Orlando for over seven years. I'm from the Sichuan region, they have the chef from the same region and make the authentic style of dishes. Amy served us today and recommended very delicious food. The new dim sum including wonton and steamed Baos and dumplings are really good made by Chinese certified chef. Must try! Highly recommend this restaurant. read more

A place that sells Chinese, Japanese and Thai shouldn't be trusted. I don't believe in so many specialties in one restaurant. These countries are very different, as are their cultures.
