It's not summer until the Red Hill Dari is open! We look forward to it every year, often working it into our 4th of July fireworks plans. Our kids love visiting for ice cream, but I love their clams. The service is always prompt and friendly and the tables outdoors are comfortable with umbrellas to block the sun. I'd visit more often if the prices were more affordable, but I get that a small business has to work with the market prices they're paying. read more

Quick, tasty and something for everyone! We had the lobster rolls, Cole slaw, and I cream cones. It was all good. I recommend the butter crunch topping on the ice cream cone which is a mixture of Jimmie's and crushed peanut brittle. Plenty of parking on site. Check the store hours though. read more

I travel a ton and look for great places to stop and eat. I love myself a lobster roll and read the reviews on this eatery, so decided to stop in. I have been to Maine for lobster rolls and this place doesn't come close. The lobster was good, but they take the lobster and grind it up and throw mayo in it to add more filler to the roll so you only get about 3 pieces of real lobster. We also had the fried clam roll. It was good. Batter is super thick though. For the prices, I would expect an actual lobster roll with full chunks of meat. read more

Score!!! If you are in the area I actually recommend that you go out of your way and visit the Red Hill Dairy. It will be well worth the ride and you will not be disappointed. I have driven by this little fish food spot dozens of times without stopping. On our way back from Storieland my daughter had hit the wall and we needed something and this was the first place that I saw that looked as if it would be a convenient in and out. To say that I was pleasantly surprised in that I stumbled a prime score would be an understatement. It was more convenient than I even anticipated. The parking available is expensive. Additionally, there are many many tables out front just sit and relax. If you prefer the beach is a short walk away. Another great alternative is the bandstand. The bandstand frequently has live entertainment. We stopped for ice cream. I had a full on proper banana split for five dollars. I have to admit that when I saw the price I was expecting less. In addition to being full lawn it was one of the tastiest banana splits that I've had it reset memory. The bananas were appropriately for the ice cream flavors could be tested. The whip cream was sweet and light. The Nats were fresh and crunchy. The toppings were extremely flavorful in true to. My daughter was in the mood for Oreo cookie ice cream. They took vanilla ice cream munched up Oreo cookies and put it in there for her so she could have exactly what you wanted. I gave it a tasted it was very good. Fried scallop half pint was 17.50 and very good --fresh and with a light breading Platters are Served with fries/Cole slaw and a roll that seems unnecessary. I've had dozens of lobster rolls in my 29 years and I'm pretty sure (and my sister agreed) that their "100% real lobster" roll had fake crab meat. It was still tasty, but I'll be stopping somewhere else next time through Meredith to spend $15 (cash only) somewhere else. Fries were solid and service was nice though. read more

Good ice cream but anyone with a soft serve machine could do just as well. I went to Red Hill with my family and there were about 20 giant spiders around the ordering window and over our heads. When we pointed it out to the woman behind the counter she said they know they are there but they just ignore them. I highly doubt that they keep a clean interior if they are too lazy to take care of a spider infestation that is right outside the window. read more

CASH ONLY, i've made that mistake. I grading this place basically on the food only. Service is fine you eat outside on tables which they do clean fyi. Basically this place is like a shack with great seafood. I always get the small shrip boat sub onion rings for fries. The meal come with plenty of tasty shrip and hand breaded onion rings that are second to none. They give you a roll and coleslaw for sides as well. the small shrimp boat is around 12$ and is plenty of food. I go here at least once while on my yearly vacation to my parent's lake house. read more

SO VERY DISAPPOINTED. This used to be the go to place for incredible lobster rolls. However, this year they are just terrible. Obviously the lobster is frozen and the lobster in the roll is horrifically watery. I should have asked for my money back, but instead made the decision not to give them any more of mine.
