I ordered shrimp scampi with a side of mashed potatoes and broccoli. The mashed potatoes were so incredibly dry and thick but the flavor was so odd. It definitely didn't taste homemade. The shrimp scampi was nothing special, just small shrimps in butter. To be honest, what do you expect with a chain restaurant? But Red Lobster definitely didn't deliver a meal worth the $ it was. My ladies group went to Red Lobster last night looking forward to their lobsterfest. What a mistakke! The only good thing about the evening was our superv waitress, Rose. I had rock lobster which was so tiny I barely got 2 bites and the shrimp were itty bitty. I did like the scallops. But my potato was all wrinkled and old tasting. And very small also.. Today was a great lunch. We had a positive experience and our waiter was friendly and pretty efficient. It started out slowly and we had a little confusion on the appetizer order but other than that our drinks and salad came out fast. My Parents came into town and we all got together for a lunch since my son had been out of town for a month for some military duty. It was a nice experience with my family. The food came out timely and it came out fresh. We were offered refills and the atmosphere was nice and clean. I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 due to the hosts not being very friendly. We downloaded the app and I highly recommend it! You can "reserve" a seat which is nice especially if you are going on the weekends. You also get reward points! We got there and our waiter was super nice and helpful. We got the ultimate feast which comes with four different options. Boy, was I full after this. Now I placed my order on line for pickup. On the website it says curbside pick up. NO THEY DO NOT OFFER CURBSIDE PICK UP. I WAS NOT DRESSED TO ENTER RED LOBSTER! I had to go into Red Lobster to get my order. Very unhappy with this. I even called and they said I had to go to the bar to pick up my order. WHY DOES IT SAY CURBSIDE PICKUP ON THE WEBSITE? Very unhappy with RED LOBSTER. Old review I decided to order delivery from Red Lobster. I placed my order at 11:58am. . It said that my order would be delivered around 12:30 pm. It is 1:07. I still do not have my order. I called red lobster and I talk to the manager Spencer who is really very nice and offered to throw in a couple of biscuits and a dessert for my trouble. I do appreciate Spencer and his attitude was wonderful. He seems to be a good manager. However I do want to warn anyone who is ordering delivery through red lobster! It is delivering through GrubHub or door dash. So your order may be sitting there for a long time before you get it and they can do nothing about it because you've ordered through door dash or GrubHub and that's who has collected the money. Yet is does not say that on there web site Thank you Spencer for being nice and trying to help the situation. Went with a party of six for dinner on Tuesday night. The restaurant wasn't crowded, not a single person waiting when we got there around six. The hostess was awful. She didn't say a word to us, we had to approach her. Then she told us there would be a wait with no explanation as to why we were waiting or how long the wait might be. There were several empty tables and parties that came in after us were seated immediately. I paced around for about 10 minutes, looking at the empty tables. The hostess watched me doing this but still couldn't be bothered to say anything to me. So incredibly rude! We eventually walked out. Won't be going back to Red Lobster anytime soon. read more

Corporate America!!! Isn't it grand? I suppose depending on the crowd you run with, that's debatable. I walk the fence, to be honest. As a staunch capitalist, I see the value! On the other hand, there's something about Mom & Pop joints that have always been near and dear to my heart. However, these corporate joints aren't as evil as some like to make them out to be. After all, do they not also employ locals? In fact, if you're ever gonna get any benefits working at a restaurant, the odds are they'll be found at a corporate joint, not at a Mom & Pop joint. It's just the way it is. I used to enjoy them a lot. Last two times I've been there service has been awful! Today, my husband and I waited for 30 min for a table and then we were told we'd been forgotten. Despite requesting a booth, we were stuck at a table whose chair was very uncomfortable. At that point we walked out. The crab was unpleasantly fishy and overcooked the previous two times. We went to a big name steakhouse "dark cow" and honestly was just treated rudely just trying to get sat on a Wednesday night for a party of 5. Anyways!!! We left!! Red lobster was a ways across town but it was worth the drive. Greeter was kind and prompt. Host got us drinks right away and bread was on our table before we could even ask. Extra bonus was Wednesday special is steak and lobster for $21. It was cooked perfectly. Our waitress was attentive and gracious. We had Dayton for our waiter who was super friendly and kept checking on our table, we also had Maleka come by our table to make sure we had everything and made sure our table was being taken care. I have never encountered great service like this I really appreciate how above and beyond they went to make sure we had a good experience. Also the food was amazing!! Fresh and tasty , the biscuits were hot and delicious and our food great we order crab legs with their new Cajun butter and it was delicious, also order steak and it was cooked to perfection. Along with the Lobster dip and mozzarella sticks for appetizers which we had never tried but they were both delicious. We had a full table of 7 and we never ran out of our drinks and really enjoyed our visit. We had an AMAZING time at this Red Lobster tonight. Our server Connor was the best waiter we have ever had vs other restaurants, they need to praise this guy for his amazing work! He were fantastic and on top of it all. Remembered how we liked our drinks, checked up on us and let us know the updates on biscuits, and so much more. Connor went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I had a great night out and we're comfortable. It were my first time going to a Red Lobster and my goodness was it a fantastic experience! Very comfortable and homey atmosphere at this location. Food was perfectly cooked and portioned, biscuits were so soft and hot from the oven, the shrimp were so tender it could melt in your mouth! Best shrimp I'd ever eaten in my life! My husband and I are definitely coming to this location again in the future! A few weeks ago, I ended up coming twice for Happy Hour. Yes, I said Happy Hour. $3 beers, except Stella; $4 house wines; $5 premium well & $5 appetizers. Starting to think I should not be reviewing a place called Red Lobster, when I promised my daughter after a traumatic event not to eat lobster again. She said nothing about crab, though. I don't care much for overly long and complex menus. I get the feeling that they are just throwing stuff out there until something with the right price point catches your eye. The waitress was nice and efficient, but it felt rushed for almost no reason. "Rock with your strip?" she'd ask, not realizing perhaps that the time she saved in not saying "lobster tail" was lost while we wondered if that is what she meant. She cleared my husband's plates when I was about half way through, and brought the check. I asked to take the rest home, and she brought a box and a plastic bag. I felt kind of snobby or something, but my husband and I paid $110 on dinner for two. Please put the leftovers in the box for me, in the kitchen, because I'm a mess at things like that. We started with a half-dozen oysters, which our waitress said would take some time to shuck. My husband got a steak, it was nice-looking. He asked for medium rare, and it had no pink. I got the crab linguine, which was just so-so. It appeared to have two kinds of crab in it, a few bigger pieces, and then something like from a can. I would have preferred just the bigger pieces, less sauce, and maybe thicker noodles. The noodles were a little odd, which I think is a little odd, since noodles are pretty inexpensive and can make a dish delicious. We got a piece of the key lime dessert, which was not quite completely unthawed. The waitress did not charge us for it, which was nice of her, but I think it was because she had already run the bill. I had one glass of wine, and she without asking gave me 9oz, not 6oz. It kind of annoys me that there are two separate sizes of glasses of wine, and that the wine glass itself has two marks on it. It is kind of a good idea, since 6 oz. of wine is about my limit. My husband thought maybe the restaurant was closing, that things seemed so rushed, or not worthy of asking before action? It really didn't seem that way, though. Right down to the wine, flavors were not bold. Husband says it's like any chain restaurant, but they charge more. My feeling was that there was an expectation of what things should cost, and how long they should take, and by God, they were going to hit the mark. Ok, so first, I'm starting this review by saying, I like corporate food spots and I like Red Lobster. It's good for what it's good for :-) This location, however, is a hit or miss for me. Sometimes the service is super on point, and sometimes, like today... it just, isn't. Example, one time I went (ordered some food to go) + a drink. The waitress made the drink and put the orange slice + strawberry on TOP of the lid! LOL! why would you do that? Tonight, I got my food and it looked like it was just thrown in the container. Also, even if you ask for extra rice, I think they give you the regular portion. Next time, I'll take a picture. The food is good, I liked the dueling lobster, and the lobster tail is a decent size. Also, when I was leaving today, the manager went and opened the door for me. The servers are always friendly. This was my first time EVER eating at a Red Lobster. My in-laws came into town from Dallas, and out of all the New Mexican restaurants here, they decided Red Lobster. Go figure. Anyways, it wasn't busy and we were seated promptly. I've always heard about the cheddar Bay biscuits. I was excited about getting them. I was not disappointed. They came warm to the table and they were "cross your eyes" good. Now I need the recipe ASAP. I ordered the fish and chips. I was expecting a few small fish fillets and fries. When it came to the table, the fillet was huge!!! But as I delved into it, it was mainly batter. A little disappointing, but there was still enough fish. I am very impressed with this Red Lobster. I do not usually frequent franchises as I feel they are not usually kept up to date. My daughter and mother picked here for lunch today and why not give it a try. It's been years since I have been here or any Red Lobster. The restaurant is better than I remember long ago. When I got home with my online order I found part of my order was missing; I had ordered family size pina colada sauce(3.99), it wasn't there; there were no biscuits; the clam chowder lacked substance (mostly broth), it seems they save the substance for eat in customers; my bill was $35.00 plus a $7.00 tip (for a carryout). I'm not writing this to get anything, just making management aware of sub quality performance. I shouldn't have to check my order to make sure that it is all there, that the employee's job....they even have a checklist on the receipt to aid them in that task! read more
