When I was growing up, I would fill myself up with those buttery Chesapeake bay biscuits. Those were the bomb! Nowadays I'm not that much into carbs but as I ate one, they just weren't as buttery. Maybe the changed the recipe or skimped on the butter, whatever it was, they just weren't as tasty. I got the clam chowder and scrimp scampi. Was good, but the flavors could have been better. Went to Red Lobster last night for their surf and turf special. We also ordered drinks. We had the margarita which was good and a bloody mary that was okay. I didn't order a second Bloody Mary. For an appetizer we purchased muscles. The muscles are always good at Red Lobster. And they were great last night as well. Our steaks were cooked as ordered. However my boyfriend did not get one of his side dishes. When we asked for it to be taken off the bill the waiter looked at as quizzically as if we had actually gotten it. We pointed out the his side dish would have came in a separate bowl and there was no separate bowl on the table. Also I feel that if the waiter messes up and taking the order or doesn't bring something out and it has to be pointed out they should take some money off the meal too. Therefore I don't feel this was the best customer service. So although the food was pretty good for such an expensive meal the experience should have been better. read more

Hubby and I celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary today and were excited to go to Red Lobster! Excitement quickly turned into DISAPPOINTMENT!! The raspberry lemonade was like watered down pink lemonade. The seafood dip we ordered for our app had overdone lobster. Yuck! We both ordered the admiral feast with a side of grilled zucinni and squash. The fried clams were chewy and the zucinni and squash were underdone. Double Yuck!! The server was not very personable. I felt Like I was number to her rather than a guest. We were better off going to Long John Silver's and avoid this whole experience. Oh well. Never again!! read more

The chef or staff never checked what I ordered or ensured that the order was correct. My order request was correct on the receipt but the shrimp combo dinner was not, and I paid a small fee for the upgrade RL offered on the site. Note that dinners in the restaurant are served with a dinner salad. Curbside pickup is not served with salads. The wait person handed me a bag and ran off before I could even check my order. Phone number is only for a text, and no direct communication. Very disappointed in my purchase and the service. $68 for three dinners at the Northwest Coors restaurant. Meh. read more

I was taken here for a work lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I don't eat seafood so I ordered the spicy chicken linguini. It wasn't spicy, but it was good. Hostess provided the poorest customer service! A couple came in after my husband and I got seated first. The hostess couldn't answer why she seated them first! And acted like it was ok! Needless to say we're on the way to a different restaurant. Just avoid this location, if that's how they treat a person before they get seated, the rest of the experience can't be all that much better! Stay away from this location! I mean this Red Lobster is always popping so I figured I would be doing a disservice not to go chain (restaurant) at least once. I took my family here a couple nights before Valentine's Day on a week day. I called ahead and put my name on the list because they said there was a 15 minutes wait. When we got there we still had to wait an additional 5-8 minutes (and yes we had already taken 15 minutes to get there) and they seemed like they were not to busy. When we finally seated, we were placed closer to the back by the restrooms. Not sure why we were so far back the restaurant was not crowded, but I do understand sometimes certain sections are set to certain waiters. Our waitress was nice, but we did have to ask for biscuits after her coming to the table three times and no biscuits in sight. When we finally got our biscuits they were burnt and hard. I had to ask for her to bring new biscuits at least two more times before they came our decent. I have never been to a red lobster that could not make their signature garlic butter biscuits right. My husband who normal is a big bread fan did not even attempt after the second batch. The waitress said she was sorry and she was trying to make sure the biscuits were cooked better, but we just gave up . In all, the rest of the food was your normal Red Lobster meal and we got to spend family time, which was most important. read more

I hadn't been to this Red Lobster in years and was craving some seafood and being in NM there really aren't many options so Red Lobster it is. Either way service was great our waitress was attentive and courteous drinks were constantly being filled, and food was brought out quickly but as far as the food goes I just feel ripped off. I mean 26 bucks for a tiny lobster tail and a few shrimps just seem outrageous to me. I think if they put a little more effort into the quality of their seafood this place would get more customers. We ordered a strawberry lemonade and a old fashion simple drinks to make you would think. LOVE Red Lobster. Went for the four course - $15 special. Portions were huge/delish and thought it was an awesome value. I placed an order to go and when they brought it over - I discovered that it was incorrect. They gave me the Seaport when all I wanted was crab stuff flounder. I let our waitress know and she apologized and sent the Manager over. He gave me the Seaport for free ($25 value) and said he would make the flounder on the house for me being so patient/understanding. Red Lobster is a decent place still to get your sorta fancy seafood grub on. Came here recently on a Sunday afternoon around 5, and was surprised to find it sorta dead. Ordered the admirals platter and wife got shrimp and salmon meal. Food came out very quick and the cheddar biscuits were very still addicting as i remember. Shrimp was very good, crispy. Oyster strips were ok, and so was the fried fish. Wasn't the best seafood around, but was decent. There are a few other places in town that have better quality and for about same price, if not just a bit more. Service here was real good too. Waitress was super friendly and all. So I guess overall it was cool. If im not in the mood to drive into ABQ and have to have some lobster or something of that nature, then this place certainly will do. read more

If you are a clean freak this is your spot the bar, restaurant, and outside was extremely clean. This is my favorite Red Lobster location in town. The service is usually good and the food is cooked well. The waitress I had last time, whose name I forget, was fast and sweet. She had our drinks back to us in record time and was always smiling. The bartender took a moment, but he had quite a few orders coming in. The Skinny Long Island is good. I got the salmon and it was cooked perfectly. The shrimp it comes with was perfect. The rice that comes with it is boring, so it remained untouched. The main part of the dish was wonderful, though. My friend got their Sirloin and Shrimp. They were also cooked wonderfully. His potatoes were under-salted, but that can be remedied at the table. Some of their stuff is a bit pricey, but seafood in a landlocked state is going to be pricey anyway. It's to be expected. Their side salad is extremely boring, but it's just a side salad. I would say their sides are generally boring and a bit under-seasoned. They do allow substitutions, so maybe I will try that next time. It's not worth sending a dish back for boring rice and unsalted mashed potatoes when the rest is done well. For being a chain restaurant, it exceeds expectations on quality for their seafood. Hopefully, this one stays good because the other location in town is lackluster. I go about once a year and it's a nice routine. read more

Usually have good service but tonight it was bad. Wrong food , things missing, slow, cold food, etc. Finally God a new server, then another. I am a single person who was with friends, a couple. I was paying separately. My friends were compensated with a coupon for a future visit. I wasn't. This us not the first time I have had poor service at Red Lobster as a single.including terrible seating, being ignored, etc. As a single person I can make my own choices and next time I want crab legs I will cook them myself and avoid being treated so poorly. read more

I never have a problem with the food and have previously had good service, but tonight. Oh. Em. Gee. Worst experience EVER! Here's just one little piece of our experience that should paint the picture for you: I ordered an online entree to go once I got my main food (one hour after arrival) and was able to pick it up at the bar without ever seeing my waiter again. This waiter told us many times he would take of us. By that he meant having 3 people come to our table to take our order, and getting the order wrong when if finally did arrive. It's not like it was a special order - how hard is it to put mashed potatoes on a plate instead of green beans? I would have loved to have my water filled more than once during our nearly two hours at the table. We would also have loved to get that second drink from the bar but we gave up after I picked up my online order to go and finally flagged someone down for the check. I was told that there were kitchen problems - not sure why I can order a meal and get it correct in 20 minutes but took over an hour and 3 order submissions to get it while we were there. Sounds like major service issues to me and ultimately a management issue. If you know your restaurant is going to be busy, make it work. There were plenty of people servicing other tables around us. My wife and I just ate lunch at Red Lobster. We both got the endless shrimp. The service was very prompt the food was very warm and some of it was just want downright hot which is fine. Don't eat here. Endless shrimp was undercooked while stuffed flounder was overcooked, rubbery and cold. Waited 40minutes between salads and entree arriving and othe parts of the meal showed up at different times not all together. Was always a favorite, but even the bread was gummy and undercooked. Started this as a 2-star but bumped it to 3 because the waitstaff are good. Ordered 1# of snow crab, which was satisfactory but the melted butter was so salty that I couldn't dip my crab in it. The calamari appetizer consisted mostly of vegetables...a lot less squid than used to be on the plate. The rest of the food was average. read more
