I came in at 11:00am when you opened, ordered takeout. 2 Lobster Flatbreads, half a dozen biscuits, calamari and popcorn shrimp - NONE OF MY FOOD WAS FRESH OR HOT!!!!!!!!! How does this happen? Its like my stuff was just sitting there....at 11:30am I asked one of the ladies who was lounging around to check on my order. I think that if we take into account the staff shortages everywhere, then the service at this red lobster was stellar. I was seated quickly, give time to look over the menu before my order was taken and everything was brought to my table in a timely manner. The only thing that I was "unhappy" with was that there were no dinner bread available until my meal came, BUT BOY WHERE THEY FRESH! I went on Wednesday and got the Wednesday deal of a lobster tail, 7 oz sirloin, and 2 sides (I got mashed potatoes and Caesar salad) as well as an a la carts bacon Mac n cheese. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly! Things were priced very accordingly. I also ordered the toro's strawberry lemonade and it was really good! And only about $7!! When I moved here in 1993, Red Lobster was one of the few restaurants in town. Growing up, it was our special event "go to" restaurant. Our servers have always been wonderful and helpful. I have never had a bad meal. The quality has remained consistent. My grandson recently ordered surf and turf. His steak was cooked to perfection. He literally cut it with a spoon! I love the stuffed flounder, but I always end up trying something new, and I'm NEVER disappointed. I am always transported to a coastal town from a childhood vacation memory. I can hear fog horns and seagulls and taste salt in the air. The ambiance is always comforting and familiar and reminds me of wonderful times with my family. read more

I have come here every year in November for a friend's birthday dinner, and every single year we are told no, they don't have any tables (when there are plenty), it takes at least 15 min for us to even meet the waitress, let alone get drinks ordered. I understand that it's during all you can eat shrimp and things might get hectic. But when you are watching the waiter/waitress do everything but put your order in the computer, and you don't even get your first shrimp order (or cheddar biscuits!) for 35 minutes, that's ridiculous. This Red Lobster is usually a great place to eat, but yesterday evening this location was especially good. We were warmly greeted by the manager as we were being seated, and the service was excellent from beginning to end. It was obvious that they were paying particularly good attention to the diners. My wife had the coconut shrimp entree which was outstanding, and I decided to get the Ultimate Feast to share. I'm very particular about seafood, and the Ultimate Feast did not disappoint! This $30 entree is a great sampler that's guaranteed to satisfy all of the popular seafood cravings. I chose the side of fries, and this platter comes with some very tasty rice as well. The shrimp scampi was perfect, and my wife used the extra sauce to dip her Cheddar Bay biscuits. The fried shrimp were good, but it's hard to fairly compare them with the amazing coconut shrimp recipe. The crab legs tasted great and were easy to crack cleanly by hand, which is exactly the way I like them. The highlight of this meal is the butterflied lobster tail. This was a decent-sized tail considering that this is a sampler platter. The meat was tender and absolutely delicious. This was the best lobster I've tasted in a while. We skipped dessert, but I know from experience that their desserts are very high quality. We had plenty of food to take home, and they had no problem giving us an extra container of sauce for the coconut shrimp when we asked. All they had to do was cut cake and bag up the complimentary biscuits that I paid for. The woman was dismissive about my wait. As a server/bartender I was disappointed! I'm from Ohio and my boyfriend and his nanny went for dinner seeing it was her favorite place to eat. We waited a long while before we got our server. He got our drinks and took our order! Was very rude when trying to explain the all you can eat to nanny, he just seemed annoyed! I get it you're a little busy and have other tables but there was no reason to be rude! We waited about 25-30min before our server came over to us and said the the order never made it to the kitchen but they were working on the order. Now I know that is server talk for he never put our order in. Once we got our food it was bland and overcooked. For the troubles they only offered a free desert. The manager brought us our baked potatoes well after we had finished our food and I talked her she was polite but clearly in a rush. Restaurant was not what I would consider "busy" but the two of us had to wait nearly 40 min to be seated. Our server, Kia, unfortunately does not have a very outgoing personality at all. They forgot our appetizer, the shrimp meals tasted a bit bland, my shrimp alfredo was pretty much completely missing the alfredo sauce all together! This is a local favorite in most areas but in Antioch, not so....My last visit we waited 35 min to get a table when 1/3 of the room was empty. After getting to the table we were greeted by a girl who was so distracted she took our order then forgot coming back 10 min later to take it again....25 min still no food, I flagged her down...she states it's almost up...no, 12 min later...we walk out, no food, no nothing! The female general manager seemed like she was spaced out or something, she introduced her name and title two times in our conversation even mentioned twice she was from east Tn....I give up, I'll drive the extra 15 miles to another location.
