I hadn't been to Red Lobster in years and I know why! It's trash! I was hungry and needed a quick fix so I hit up Red Lobster. When I arrived the person at the hostess stand was eating something and had a mouth full of food. He didn't greet me probably because he couldn't because he was too busy chewing. The bar was filthy when I went to have a seat. The bartender was nice and friendly. She did a great job. The staff seemed more like patrons because they were talking and hanging out around the bar. One staff person came out of kitchen drinking something. I struggled as I searched through the menu to find something appetizing........... Epic fail! Non the less the cheddar bay biscuits are still delicious. Probably the best thing they have going. And the only reason they are still existing. Needless to say they definitely need a rebirth because this ain't it! read more

If there was a way to give zero stars to this location it would certainly get a "0" for the food quality and management. We went for a birthday celebration and were verbally attacked by a female manager who treated us like "zero". My husband ordered steamed lobster from the menu, however he received a grilled lobster which is not the same. He sent it back and when the female manager came out with the same lobster tail to talk to him we were were told they do not steam their lobster and that they are grilled or roasted because they do not have the correct equipment. The menu clearly advertised they have steamed lobster tails. He responded he would not have ordered it if he would have known that. The "manager" then went on to ask him in a highly agitated voice why he "ordered it if he did not like it". Very professional! We have never been so poorly treated! The food is mediocre and flavorless to begin with and this was an extremely bad experience and we will NEVER be back. Don't waste your money or time on this location...not the first time we have been treated poorly here. Nasty hosts and management. I feel badly for the servers dealing with this mess. read more

Came in on a Saturday night and they were really busy so thankfully we called ahead (otherwise the wait was gonna be 55 minutes). I commend them for keeping our call ahead for us - we were seated nearly immediately. Our waitress was a bit slow at first but she picked it up and was really attentive. I was with a group of four and we all agreed that our food was delicious. I tried mussels for the first time as an appetizer and they were great. There were a lot of them and they were cooked very well. My fiancée really enjoyed the lobster bisque. I've been to a few different Red Lobster locations around Indy and this is the one I'd recommend. read more

Food was good and hit the seafood spot. Thursday Petite Ultimate Feast was good and portions still big enough to share with appetizer.(stuff mushrooms of course). A little dirty on the carpet and there appeared to be one shrimp on the floor all staff was allergic to, including manager who walked by it several times. read more

Update.... I did finally use the gift card they sent me. I was unable to place my order online. They don't process gift cards online! Lol! Then the instructions from the online site and the person at the location: fill the online order out, just type in "pay at location". It wouldn't do that. So when I called the girl finally asked me if I wanted to go ahead and place my order, which I did. (This ended up being over $90, and didn't go on the points program... but, they did fix steak without peppercorn, all steaks were listed with that.(yuck! I hate pepper.) We got NY steak -rare (raw), bkd pot, green bns and scallops (4 scallops seemed small and seemed undercooked.) the Lobster Feast Rock lobster, Maine lobster, seafood linguini, bkd pot and green bns. Only one drawn butter in the little to go container. I think2 of each drawn and regular butter would have been good, all I got for both potatoes was one each whipped little container. The steak was not bleeding, or bloody, it was raw! I swear I heard "moo moo" when I cut into it. But guess I would rather have it undercooked than over. As mentioned, the scallops were not firm, but squishy, the mane lobster tail was also slightly under done. I just heated things up to be sure they were ok. Everything else was really pretty good. Now, was it worth the amount before the gift card? I don't know. Also ordered extra biscuits (GREAT!) chocolate cake and apple (blossom) these were supposed to come with ice cream, when I asked if they could put the ice cream in separate containers, I was then told that they didn't have any. Were not having any ice cream because of COVID-19. Really? If it had just been me, I would have cancelled those, I mean, about $13 for this, I think someone could buy some at the store. I was concerned that the girl doing the curbside delivery didn't have a mask on. I am high risk, part of the reason I used curbside... no mask, undercooked food... does this location have their stuff together yet? I hope so. They were very nice this time. In the UK we don't really have "good" lobster, as you may see from past reviews we have looked for it. We have imported lobster, because lobster isn't indigenous to the British coasts. The one time (for my birthday last year) that we had surf and turf in London it didn't go too well; the half lobster was a little old and fishy and the steak was gristly and covered with fat that needed to be cut off. Elle's was over cooked and needed to go back. It was NOT a good lobster for either of us....So, ever since Elle has talked about having good lobster and when we go to the States next time we WILL get ourselves some! And basically that's what happened. Red Lobster delivered...Both Elle and I had whole lobster, with baked potato and broccoli. They served deliciously warm biscuits before our main meal came; our waiter was pretty good making sure we had our drinks quickly and our food came quickly too. It costs about $31 for a whole lobster with the two sides. Which isn't too bad we thought. Other people had crab legs, crab salad and chicken caeser salad. Everyone was pretty happy with the food they were served. The reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that they gave our party of 5 (and a 4month old baby) a booth and not one of the larger table which would have suited the mother and her baby better for feeding and serving purposes. Our server (who was shaking) had to bend over (and almost dropped food on) the baby carrier at the front of the booth. I previously had a bad experience with red lobster but this time things were very different. I had promised myself I would never walk into one of these again but my coworkers insisted that they wanted to eat here so I didn't have much of an option this time around. All I have to say is that I am glad they forced me into this place because my experience was great! The service was really good which I was not expecting. I had the chicken ling weenie and the wood grilled salmon which I have to say were simply delicious. All I have to say is that I have become a fan and I plan to give them another opportunity once I get back to the valley. read more

Service is horrible. For instance, I had to stir my coffee with a straw because they didn't set any flatware for us. The Shrimp Scampi was unimaginative but the worst was when it came time to pay. I had to call the cops because the racist manager refused to let me pay with a friend's card (after she said she would take it) even though he sent me front and back images of it along with his driver's license. We went in around 8pm and were sat quickly. The server took about 10 minutes to get our drink order. We ordered salads and were told the new manager did not order lettuce. So then we ordered clam chowder and were then told it was out. The food was pretty quick. We had a table by the kitchen and someone was constantly screaming and laughing very loud. Food was ok, they gave us a dessert because the were out of everything. Just not a great experience. If we didn't have a gift card I don't think we would go back. read more

My husband and I have enjoyed this location for years....always the same: I order wine, he has a margarita and we have lobster pizza. Love it. Our choices from there vary, and tonight was a game changer. I ordered a small salad (no problem...have always liked their vinaigrette) and then a bowl of steamed mussels. The mussels came and they were really, really good. Great presentation, flavor and size for the money. EXCEPT....only half had opened. Our waitress, who was wonderful, noticed and insisted on sending the manager, despite our protests. I'd had plenty to eat, and did not want to make a scene. When the manager (I believe her name was Nikki) arrived, she immediately approached with a defensive attitude, starting with "what seems to be the problem?"...I reiterated that we had not asked for her, but went on to explain that half of the mussels served had not opened. She smiled and stated that she understood, they are "hard to open". My husband immediately pointed out that you should not open mussels that have been steamed and don't open on their own, and her response was that Red Lobster's are pasteurized so it's "fine". Neither one of us could hide our surprise to this response....she thanked us for coming in and left. End of story. I was and still remain stunned. When we go to Red Lobster, we don't expect high end fresh flown-in seafood. We don't. Our expectations are for really decent food, a nice quiet meal in the bar and consistent service. Never do we expect to have a discussion with a manager forced on us, and certainly not be treated with condescending disdain. I'm forced to re-think that lobster pizza now. read more

For the price they charge for seafood here I am not sure why people come here. It had been a few years since I had last frequented a Red Lobster so we gave it a whirl. I got a Crab and Seafood bake. This came out and had crab legs which were good but the shrimp and tiny scallops were literally swimming in grease and butter. There were also red potatoes and a half corn. The potatoes were so soaked in the butter that you could not even eat them because they fell apart when you picked them up. If I am paying $20+ for a meal I prefer not to have to go to the dr to have my cholesterol checked after. Sadly 2 other meals were swimming in grease as well they were pasta dishes. Was there on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 following a funeral. We were with a large group. The food was very good and our waitress and those who assisted her bringing our food was great. Our drinks remained filled as well as the cheddar biscuits. We were seated in an area that allowed several members of the party to get up and talk to one another. Was pleased all around. read more

This place is my guilty pleasure. I don't come often but when I do it's always good. I always get the fried clam strips and shrimp scampi, and of course binge on the garlic biscuits! If I'm feeling really skinny I'll order the crab Alfredo, it's delicious. While it's not like the seafood from home, it's good for Indiana. I don't like seafood, but everyone else did. I ate parmesan crusted chicken, which was very good! It came with a pasta that was cold, but the chicken itself was good. The service was bad! I am not sure if the server was new or what, but he was not good. We order drinks an appetizers and I guess he thought we were joking about the appetizers because he said, "oh, you actually wanted to to enter those?" Yes, we did, which is why we ordered them. However they advertise endless shrimp Monday's however once you get there and they give you your drinks and you have had some of the biscuits and you order the "endless shrimp" they point out the extremely tiny print stating that ends at 6 pm. Lovely Tuesday brunch. Had this crab scampi appetizer with no tomatoes and I dipped toast and ate it was lovely and I had a ceasar salad which is very important because #1 that's my first salad that got me into salads and #2 it was my first meal of 2014 and I had gotten a lobster bisque to go with it but I loved the salad so much I got full and had to box my favorite entree to take it home cause I was too interested in the salad to eat my fav soup anywhere. So anyhow I ate that salad today with shrimp and it was lovely it's been a few hours and I'm still full from it and I'm happy I went there for lunch. It's not crouded at noon on a Tuesday by the way so it's a nice place for an early lunch too. read more

Although this was a terrible experience I would like to first stay our server was wonderful and tried her best to make our experience as best as it could have been. Tania has an amazing personality. I was apart of a party of 5, we reserved a seat online and was seated right away. When we arrived at the table we noticed the chairs were oddly spaced. My daughter tried to move over but there was seemed like an entire meal on the floor under the table, clearly visible to the cleaning and seating staff. We got our appetizer and salad about 40 minutes after we arrived. After waiting almost an hour for our food, it came. multiple tables that were seated after us and ordered after us received their food well before we did. Our food was very lack luster. Three of us got our food, 10 minutes later another meal and side came out and about 5 minutes later the manager Amanda came out with the final meal, she took it to the wrong table. We had to tell her it was ours as she headed back to the kitchen with it. Tania came to the table multiple times to apologize and ask if we were ok. She kept the biscuits coming. Buy the time the food came we were full from biscuits and drinks. We barely ate our food. My lobster feast was rubbery and barely warm. Actually all of the lobster at the table was. Amanda "the manager" came to the table to apologize. She only made excuses. Sorry we have a lot of carry out orders, is what she said. Sorry the food came out slow. Everyone else got their food in a timely manner. (When you're waiting an excessive period of time and are hungry you notice when everyone else orders and gets their food.) This is probably the worst experience I'll had at red lobster and I highly doubt Amanda is a manager! Birthday dinner disappointment!! My husband ordered us dinner for my birthday because we couldn't dine in due to the restaurants being closed (COVID19). He was excited to order us dinner because I have been cooking so much. We both ordered the Admiral's Feast. My dinner had no fried clams, the shrimp were the tiny shrimp not the butterfly shrimp and the pieces of fish were nuggets. My husbands dinner had 4 fried clams, tiny shrimp and fish nuggets. Not to mention that the sides you can order are not side we usually order. The cheddar biscuit were hard and inedible. My husband was so disappointed. My family ate dinner here just a few days ago and not six hours after leaving the restaurant and sharing the coconut shrimp, we all have been throwing up non stop. I will say our server was really great, but either the food wasn't cooked properly or had been cross contaminated from unsanitary kitchen habits. Came in for lunch on my birthday a few days ago. We were there promptly five minutes after opening, so there were very few customers. Service was fine, food was great as usual! Only complaint is that we were given our receipt five minutes after our food was delivered. I felt rushed, which was weird, especially since there was no one else in our section. We were not offered dessert. I was actually planning on getting a dessert but changed my mind once the receipt came out so early. Red Lobster is my favorite chain restaurant, so I'll come back again. Flickering light above our table, I informed the manager that I have epilepsy and the strobing can instigate a seize to which she responded with "well I can't do anything about it because right now you're sitting there" with a snotty tone, when she could have offered to move us or kindly asked me to get up. We've been here a few times and always had good experiences. The food is (I assume) the same as every other Red Lobster and the quality has always been good. It's the Midwest, so don't expect Fisherman's Wharf. What's always done it for us is the service. Every time we've been here our server has done a great job and given us a pleasant experience. One great server in a sea of busybodies. Food: Great food for old people with no tastebuds. Food was underseasoned, the haddock could have very well been tofu it was so tasteless. Service: Several of the female servers gathered in a group near the hostess station and talked about the patrons that had just left, making fun of them. Thankfully I had the one server in the place who was actually doing her job and not participating in the gossip fest. Amanda B. was very friendly and attentive. My tip reflected her stellar service. It wasn't her fault the food was best suited for nursing home fare. Cleanliness: I unrolled my silverware and a fork had food caked to it.
