We visited with a party of 25, and unfortunately, the seating process got off to a rough start. They initially tried to split our group across three tables, which wasn't practical. The host seemed overwhelmed and called the first half of our group in, but they were left standing in the middle of the restaurant, unsure where to go. They were then directed to two tables that weren't large enough to accommodate them. Keep in mind, our group consisted of basketball players and their parents, so we needed adequate seating. After some rearranging, we were finally able to sit comfortably. My table's server was friendly, attentive, and provided great service. Unfortunately, my son's table had a very different experience. Their server rarely checked on them, and they had a difficult time getting refills and assistance. Overall, it seemed like the staff may have been stretched too thin, or some servers weren't prepared for the fast-paced environment. What can I say, I always enjoy Texas Roadhouse (TR). I'm from Hawaii so I try to make it a priority to eat at TR whenever I travel to the continent. This location was able to accommodate our party of 11 after a mix up of getting on their waitlist. Service was good, food was great, as always, and prices are always fair. I had an overalls great experience at Texas Roadhouse. When I pulled into the parking lot, I thought our wait time would be long, but I was mistaken. We were seated pretty quickly. Our server cam right over and introduced herself and took our orders. The placed was packed, but the restaurant was clean and so were the bathrooms. Cesar salad -standard, but the dressing lacked that true Caesar taste. Steak, shrimp and baked potato- my first steak came out well done. I let the server know and it was replaced with no issues. It was perfect! They even sent out another baked potato. My load baked potato was delicious. I just wish my cheese was melted. The shrimp were perfect as well. Now the star of the show was my strawberry banana margarita with a side shot of patron. Can't beat $8.50! Also, the rolls were hot and fresh. They also give you a complimentary bag of peanuts. My friend and I come here from time to time and I can't say I enjoy this place. This particular location has a serious fly/gnat problem, it's horrible. The steak to me is not good either. The bread and butter are pretty ok and so is the shrimp appetizer, but I'm sure there were flies on it before I received it. Come here for yourself if you don't believe me. If you would like to place a Togo order over the phone you're better off driving to the actual store and placing your order inside and waiting for it to be done. I've been waiting for my Togo order to be taken for over 10 minutes now on hold listening to the terrible song about Texas Roadhouse on repeat. This experience doesnt change from past experiences either. Always whenever I call to place a Togo order this happens. All I can say is I love the rolls this company offers but this locations management needs to tighten up with the phone orders because not everyone has access to an app or a phone with that. I have an iPhone and actually have the app. I ordered with the app and I'm still on hold. It's amazing. The only reason I called is because my wife is old school about ordering things to make sure they got the order and the computer didn't mess up which is fine. I get it. Answer the Togo order phone for crying out loud. This is honestly worth a no star review considering the uncleanliness of half of the restaurant near the bathrooms being unusable and almost everywhere else because of the stench from the bathrooms. Do you ever go to a chain restaurant expecting the worst--but get the best? I am just floored almost beyond words. Almost. I supported a friend's grandchild's fundraiser. I merely donated because I don't frequent Texas Roadhouse. So I was surprised when my friend brought a gift card. I was thinking to myself, "How will I ever spend this?". Well, today actually presented itself as I needed to pick up items at Best Buy and drop off FedEx envelopes at Office Depot. It was a 30 minute wait, which I was pretty much ready to anywhere but there. But to my surprise, my normally impatient husband plead that we just wait it out. We were pretty tired, so just sitting and watching the people almost seemed better that going back into the wind and cold. The place was packed as usual. Elbow to elbow room till we finally were seated. Our server, Allison came to our table and greeted us warmly and was happy--which if you saw how busy and jam packed it was--you just wouldn't, couldn't expect anything extraordinary. But Allison suggested drinks--like I'm sure she was supposed to do. But her mood--was welcoming! The menu did not have prices for alcohol. We were interested in the wine offerings and did not want sticker shock so we inquired what the prices of the two Cabernets they offered. We expected pushback from our server--but she didn't! She asked and reported back with a smile. We ordered a bottle, prime rib 16oz each. I knew deep down I couldn't eat it all and that a take away bag would be necessary. But I was starving by that time--no breakfast or lunch. We were blown away by what we were served, promptly, mind you, even before our salads! Any other time we would have complained--but our food came out and we were just dumbfounded at the size of the prime rib and stunned it was cooked perfectly to order. The veggies were over cooked, but that paled in comparison to the service and the food. We ate like kings!! We felt compelled to ask for Allison's manager to brag on her. She was excellent!!! 1 - our server, Tierra, was GREAT, even tho it was only her 2nd day! Personable, professional & polite, she seemed to care about her customers! 2 - food was only mediocre this time. The salad wasn't as fresh as it has been in the past, AND it was pretty skimpy--with very little lettuce but a whole lot of eggs (more than too much) made me feel like I was eating egg salad. 3 - the catfish I ordered was tasty but only warm, not steaming hot like usually served. 4 - the baked potato was perfect! 5 - my dining companion ordered pulled pork & the serving size was huge (YAY!) & she said it was good. However... 6 - there was a BONE in the pulled pork which was the size of a 50-cent piece on which my dining companion could have broken her tooth. When it was mentioned to the manager, THERE WAS NO APOLOGY AT ALL; all she said was "I'll mention it to them in the back". We definitely got the impression that she did not care! 7 - as always, it was pretty noisy! Typically this place has good food and I praise Texas Roadhouse for having a great steak at an amazing price BUT their quality at this place has gone down. Last 4 times my ribeye has been over cooked it has a metallic and gritty texture. Best way to describe it would be like I'm eating liver. Leaving I feel nauseous. The veggies are mushy and taste like alfalfa, rolls seem to be tougher, not as fluffy and soft as other establishments. Service has always been great and the establishment looks clean. Just had lunch there today. Service was good. I have the road kill and it was so salty my husband ate half and he could not eat anymore and he loves salt. I sent mine back did not get it till all my party was done and ready to go. The just sen out the burger not new potato. So I took my cold potato home with me. I work in restaurant. For Christmas, we received a ridiculous amount of Texas Roadhouse gift cards. Texas Roadhouse had a Christmas promo for $500 spent on gift cards you'd receive a "Skip the Line pass" to the front of the line with no waiting. So our family did this for Christmas gifts. They open at 3:00p Mon - Thurs, so folks had been rolling in for an hour. We thought we might miss the large crowd, which obviously didn't happen. If you've never been to this family-friendly restaurant, keep in mind that it is very busy with a bustling atmosphere and extremely loud. The servers gather and shout the birthday celebration at the top of their lungs. The positives are that the food is good, with a diverse menu and good service. Tonight, the staff was working as a finely tuned machine. Our server didn't miss a beat, was attentive, thoughtful, and friendly. Our appetizer, chili, and entrées arrived hot and timely. Several bussers were continually walking the aisles, removing used dishes, which is always worthy of an extra star. My husband ordered the tender 2-piece grilled pork chop dinner served with 2 sides. His option was a baked potato and a cup of chili. He was very satisfied with his entree and sides. I ordered the smothered chicken covered with grilled onions and mushrooms topped with brown gravy. It was tender as well and flavorful. We both would order again. They have 13 entrees on the Early Dine menu with special prices Mon - Thurs from 3:00 - 5:00. You'll find a kids' menu as well. The food was good as usual but the service! I kind of wish we would have just stayed home. We had to ask for rolls after we got our drinks. The server dumped a drink all over my daughter's friend. She apologized but didn't help clean anything up. Not the girl, the floor or the chair. Then when she apologized she pet her on the head!? It was weird. We didn't get refills until I asked for a drink to go since she brought us to go boxes before she asked if we needed anything else to drink. The service here is iffy at best. We are frequent customers at Texas Roadhouse. Generally receiving really great customer service and even better food. However, August 28th at 8:30pm-ish, we received less than normal and acceptable service. Our waiter was a lovely individual, but was not available when the food was dropped. Typically this is when we would let someone know if our steak temps were to prepared to our preference. It was a dinner service so I gave grace and did not take this unfortunate circumstance out on them. That being said, I got up with the steak on a plate and took it to the kitchen. 3 employees walked by me and 2 front desk employees stood there with no other customers until finally being greeted by someone trying to figure out what was the issue. It took an additional 25 minutes to have the refired steak to dropped at the table. By then the group was already finished or taking their final bites. It was delivered by the manager a woman in green. She was not eager to be helpful. The steak, as you can see, didn't come out to the preferred temp. And the manager refused to comp the steak entirely or make any gesture for the second delay of getting to eat because "there had been steak consumed." Which to be clear was a bite from a 6oz steak. We will be adjusting our location preferences after this meal. read more

Texas Roadhouse in Avon remains a steadfast favorite for our family, and for good reason. It's genuinely difficult to find a steak that rivals theirs, even at significantly higher price points. I've had steaks costing three times as much that simply don't compare to the quality and flavor you get here. Beyond the steak, I'm a big fan of their side salad and, when I'm feeling indulgent, the onion blossom - extra crispy, of course! I can also heartily recommend their pulled pork, a full rack of ribs, the beef tips, and even the pork chops; they consistently deliver on taste and value. My only minor complaint would be the occasional tendency to seat people at tables instead of booths when booths are available , unless it's particularly busy or the customer specifically requests a table. However, the service is generally very good, and the restrooms are usually kept in decent condition. Overall, a consistently excellent experience that keeps us coming back. I would absolutely love on an off note to stop with the screaming birthday song. read more

I hesitantly went back to the Roadhouse on a Friday night as that os the only day my daughter can go out. we also had a 50.00 gift card to use up. We knew we needed to get there as soon as possible to best the rush of customers. We got there right at 5 pm and there was a 15 min. wait. We were seated and ended up having a great waiter. He was excellent. we started with an appetizer of the Rattlesnake bites. These are unique and tasted great. They combine cheese with jalapeños and are batter dipped and fried and taste amazing. I ordered a 16 oz sirloin medium and chose the house salad and backed sweet potato. I like the salad as they will bring that out before the meal so its like a second appetizer. The salad is pretty substantial and has a lot to offer with numerous toppings. The steak was huge albeit i went for 16 oz to have leftovers. This steak is a great deal as the whole meal is 19.99 and with that steak you can get a second meal out of the leftovers. Steak was cooked as I ordered and tasted great. We have gone for ages. We used to have our names above the bar on placards above the bar, that's how long we have gone. We used to go twice a week, then once a week then once a month. We havent been in months. Danielle and Jason have proven to be worn and horrible. We got sick of getting our salads and appetizers with our entrees. Management doesn't care. Jason walks around like the living dead, never a smile. The bar manager is sad and clearly not a socail lady. This place went down hill a while ago. We wrote reviews on Google but the owners had them removed. We spent many thousands of dollars here and always tipped over 20 percent. Many rave about Texas Roadhouse, but it was alright. I got the country fried sirloin with mushrooms and onions, a Cesar salad and baked potato. The gravy looked wrinkly as if my plate had been sitting out and nothing felt fresh or hot. The mushrooms and onions were sitting in a bowl of oil and not hot. I've really tried to be understanding about their Carry Out Only process. This time I've had it. After talking to their manager Carly about it all she could say is that they are working on the issue and they hope by summer it's resolved. I did an online order at 4 for our dinner to be picked up at 7. I arrived at 6:50 pm. No one approached out car, I had to finally summon someone over to get some customer service. I asked at waitress about my order and she said she'd check. After 25 minutes of her not telling me what was going on and her completing other orders I asked to speak to the manager. She finally came out and at this point I had been there over 40 mins waiting. Carly, the manager, apologized but basically she said they are working on it. My food finally came out and luckily I checked the order because it was incorrect. All the boxes were messed up and the food looked like it has been thrown in the box. They forgot the mushrooms, corn, toppings for the sweet potato and the onions. Never again. Managment never tried to smooth it over with a small discount or a coupon for our next visit. Sorry was all they provided. I got home an hour later. I told the manager that their communication is horrible. If you know that you have a problem then I would hope you'd let me know so I'd know what to expect. A heads up on being behind in the kitchen is a courtesy. Went there 08/01/2025 for our granddaughter's birthday. We were a party of 9 and had to wait almost an hour for our table only to be seated in a cramped booth. We had one party member in a wheelchair. Waiter was slow, we wanted prime rib and was told they had a "little" left. When our food arrived, that was obvious. The prime rib had no juices or flavor. I asked for horseradish but never got it. Bathrooms were disgusting, overflowing trashcans, dirty sinks and mirrors, trash on floor.
