    Boil

I come here once a year because it's one of my grandfather's favorite places and he's in his 90s so we never trt to change his mind. They are always great with our large party and we never have any complaints about their service. The food is always good until I try something new. I will stick to the basics because my boil was not great how everyone says it is. Overall good service and food.

Sailor's Platter with Clam Strips substituted for the Shrimp Scampi

I didn't realize Red Lobster had this location which I have been driving by for a very long time. I guess I pay too much attention to the traffic in front of me. The number of customers inside was light. No one was at the greeter station but I was spotted immediately by someone who showed me to a table right away. I knew what I wanted and found it on the menu before the server arrived. The only question was if I could substitute the Shrimp Scampi with Clam Strips on the Sailor's Platter. The platter also came with Popcorn Shrimp and Crispy Flounder. I didn't see the Clam Strips anywhere on the menu and was worried they didn't offer them anymore. My server told me she could get them for me. I told her it was the main reason I came there. I really like them. I also ordered a Side Salad as my side even though it was $1.99 extra. And I ended up only taking a half dozen bites to save room for my platter. It was a big salad and tasted great. The flounder was excellent! It was thin and crispy. I ate both fillets. When I was done there was still shrimp and clams on the plate because they brought out so much of them. I didn't order dessert as I was too full. I didn't use the restroom so I can't speak to its cleanliness. Parking was awesome since nobody was there and I got a spot right by the front door.

I come to this location a couple times a year. Have always had decent service and usually no wait, though I don't think I often eat at peak dinner time. I am always a fan of the shrimp linguine alfredo--it's a bit greasy, but comfort food! The coconut shrimp are good, too, and come with a creamy pineapple dipping sauce. They also have a wide variety of fruity cocktails.

This is based on a delivered order. I just don't think it's a good idea to get crab legs delivered. They never have the same appeal as eating at the restaurant. I ordered the garlic cajun butter crab legs. They had the sauce in a separate container. This is liquid butter so of course it's messy and it's getting thru the packaging. Half the crab was empty. I had many pieces that hardly had any meat in them. It's crab fest so doesnt that mean they are "in season" or whatever lol. I also wish you could sub the potatoes that come with the legs for something diff. I absolutely don't like those potatoes. I prefer a baked potato or even mashed. I don't think I'll be ordering to go crab legs anymore.

    Hush puppies

We over heard the manager bribing people with a free dessert for a good Google review. Maybe they need to do this to make up for the over priced food? The food is way over priced for the amount you get. Look at these hush puppies. The store looked very clean though

We get there on a Friday night at 6pm and there were very few people in the restaurant. We waited a minutes for the server to come over to start with drinks. I can't blame her as she was in the middle of something. We started with the calamari. Well it was definitely frozen and beyond chewy. Then the Cesar salad came out. It was drenched with dressing and too much. Finally I had ordered the live Maine lobster. As I cracked it open a bunch of water came pouring out. It was clearly boiled (meat texture gave that away). There was no flavor to it and the meat was slimy. In total it came to $70. This will be the last time I go to a red lobster. Not worth the money. P.S the server was extremely friendly and was not her fault.

Food was okay but somewhat salty. The service was delayed but they are often extremely busy with limited staff. The dining area is a calming, with nice spacious booths.

7oz peppercorn-seasoned sirloin, a wild-caught lobster tail, loaded baked potato, and french fries and ketchup.

What can I say? Good quality for the price. I know, Steak and Lobster tail may not look the best to some with a loaded baked potato and fries on the same plate. However, those are the only sides I cared for at the time. My spouse and I went to RL for the Wednesday Special of Steak and Lobster. It's a wild caught lobster tail and a 7oz peppercorn-seasoned sirloin with 2 sides for $20.99. Our server was knowledgeable and she even recommended a "Lobster Punch" drink they stopped advertising the night before. If you're looking for somewhere easy to get seafood and not pay too much this is the place for you.

This place serves sushi, Korean Fried Chicken, Japanese ramen, and features make your own Mongolian stir fry. I always opt for the stir fry. The restaurant has a decent sized dining area and the staff is friendly enough. My interaction with them was limited but in my brief interaction they did their job, nothing more, nothing less. Back to the sir fry. So, you get a bowl and load it up with noddles or rice, then your choice of proteins, vegetables, and sauces. After you got it just the way you want it, you drop it off for them to grill. They move pretty quick. I got my entre in less than 8 minutes. It was really good and reasonably priced. This restaurant is a nice change of pace from fast food for me. I wish I made it here more often. The food is really good and I get to put my creativity to the test while I am here. I recommend checking this place out.

We arrived after looking up "Lunch near Airport" and this place popping with good reviews and a high TripAdvisor position. Gayle and I had a very enjoyable Lunch. The inside was bright, clean, well-appointed and spacious. Our wait person was friendly and prompt. I ordered the tomato bisque and grilled cheese special, while Gayle opted for a Patty Melt (with Fries). Both choices were delicious and just the right amount of food for me. Gayle left a fair amount of food on her plate, mostly due to a huge sandwich and lot for fries. I appreciated that this place offered beers that didn't have the word IPA in them, with my Oatmeal Stout being a great choice. Gayle went for her favorite Chardonnay preference. We both nursed our drinks and the fries as we were in no hurry to get the airport. The Library Restaurant and Pub was a solid choice, and one that we would repeat for either Lunch or Dinner.

We had no trouble getting a table at 1pm on a Tuesday, the occupied tables looked like business lunches and regulars. Our server was kind and gave us space to look over the menu. We were there for lunch, so we had a lunch menu, but the prices were the same as at dinner. I had always assumed it would be a restaurant full of books, but I was disappointed in that. It does have beautiful artwork replicas of Napoleon, some with funny additions. My husband had the fish and chips, which was a decent serving with very good homemade tartar sauce. I had half a sandwich and their broccoli soup. All in all, it was good enough food, in a nice enough setting, but not something we would come back for.

I was fortunate enough to make a last minute reservation on open table (yay!) and we had an excellent table on the patio overlooking the water! It had been a couple of years since my last visit, and was sad to see some of my usual favorites no longer on the menu (I'm looking at you chicken cordon bleu fingers!!!). The vibes were incredible! Unfortunately our cocktails and food were average and honestly lacked a lot of flavor, but I will keep returning for the patio! I will say, parking can also be a nightmare depending on the time of day. They do have a rather big lot, so you may just be driving around for a while. The service was great, and our server did everything he could to make our experience enjoyable. Unfortunately, I was heartbroken to learn that a new chef has taken over, completely revamped the menu, and STOPPED SERVING THE BEST APPETIZER IN ALL OF INDIANA: the Chicken Cordon Bleu Fingers. I genuinely have no idea why they would make this decision. These have been on the menu for well over a decade, have a cult following, and are one of the main reasons many people visit Rick's in the first place. Thankfully, our server went above and beyond and found a way to make it happen since they still prepare them for banquets and special events. That alone should tell you how beloved they are. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal didn't fare as well. The risotto was a major disappointment. It was bland, overcooked, and lacked the rich flavor it used to have. The gumbo was also underwhelming, tasting overly tomato-heavy and missing the depth and seasoning you'd expect. Overall, the food quality has noticeably declined. Between the menu changes and the disappointing execution, it's no longer worth the drive or the price point for me. It's disappointing to see a restaurant I once loved move in this direction.
