Im still sitting at the table an hour in. Food was cold, everything took an exceedingly long time. Servers said kitchen was backed up (there were a few tables, but maybe they got slammed all at once). Then the food came out stone cold. Server said he informed the kitchen manager, and they were fixing it....Which apparently was the end of all of our engagement because he hasnt been back to the table in awhile. I want the pizookie that came with our meal, but wonder how long they will actually take to get back. With prices how they are spend your money elsewhere and get better service and food. Update after flagging him down we finally put in the final part of our meal. Unacceptable from top to bottom. The problem might be there was no manager in sight checking on table or splving the myriadof problems from every table. Shame on them for leaving the servers out to dry. I hope the next time I am forced to come back here it is better, but generally I avoid this place because it has been a problem for years (although admittedly today has been by far the worst). Update #2: 20 minutes after that, the waiter stopped by and asked if everything was. I already paid at that point and would have paid any amount to leave. Terrible Terrible experience. We stopped in for the $13 Pizookie meal deal and it's honestly such a steal for the amount of food you get. I did the unlimited soup and salad, the Caesar was fresh and crunchy, but I have to agree with some other reviewers that the soups are a bit of a salt bomb. Both the broccoli cheddar and the clam chowder were tasty, just very heavy on the sodium. My husband got the Chicken Parmigiana and really liked it, the portion was the lunch one I believe for this deal. As usual the pizookie was great. It wasn't a busy night, got seated right away, but walking to our table the floor were slippery. Really great atmosphere and tons of beer options. Our waitress was really friendly very helpful. Kept coming back to the table to check on us to make sure we're good. We ordered a couple appetizers, the mac & cheese balls, and the for dinner, we got a bunch of different items. Most of us ordered off of the 1399 menu which included the entrée and a Pizookii. A couple of us got salad one person got a veggie burger and also boneless wings. All of the food was really good. Well cooked came out very quickly and hot. The only issue we had was that the sweet potato fries were very, very salty. Otherwise, everything was great. Salads were good had strawberry berries, candied pecans, blue cheese, crumbles, and lettuce. Very good and tasty. The Pizookies which are basically a cookie with a scoop of ice cream on it were all very good. We got three different kinds, sugar, cookie, strawberry cookie, and caramel. All of them were sweet hot in their own little pan. The ice cream was very good a perfect combination and just big enough for one person or to share a little with each other. The food was excellent. Service was excellent. It was best service we ever had at any restaurant. Our waitress Carly Ray was very attentive,pleasant and efficient. The manager Miko was also very attentive, friendly and could tell he was a caring manager. This was my second visit in person. Again, they were out of my first choice but it was almost comical given my last visit. I still ended up with a pretty good lunch. Overall, it's fairly expensive but you do get good sized portions. Our server was not very friendly this time but he did check on us throughout. I had the crispy jalapeno burger. It had a good char on the outside and was pretty good overall. I liked the option to upgrade my fries to sweet potato fries. We also started with the limited time Chips and Dip trio which was good and not overly filling before our meals. Our server did an excellent job with some slightly demanding folks. Went out to eat with some friends. This wad our first time at this location. The music was a bit loud and one of our friends asked if it could be turned down a smidge. They did turn it down and made it easier to have a conversation. They got potstickers as an app and my husband and I skipped apps. Items ordered for dinner were salmon, a deep dish med pizza, bonless wings with a salad and a personal pizza. The deep dish got way over cooked and they had to cook another one. My salad had items I had ask to be omitted. Items were remade no issues. The food was all good. My friend and I came here, because we wanted try out their new Spooky Pizookie to see how good it was. We got Mozzarella Sticks as an appetizer, which they were very good and the cheese pool was nice. My friend got their Brisket and Bacon Burger, and I got their Chicken Alfredo. I thought the chicken was very delicious and Alfredo tasted very good. My friend thought the burger was a little bland, said it needed more hickory sauce. He said the fries tasted very good and salty. We got their new spooky pizookie, which tasted amazing! The pizookie tasted like a warm soft brown and the ice cream really helped balance it out. The waitress we had was very nice and attentive when we need help or getting us refills. I'm not giving it a 5 star, because my friend said his soda was pretty flat, and the wait time on the food as a whole was pretty bad. read more

First of all, I want to say BJ's has great food. The new manager Makayla is also an A+. However, the last several times we have ordered either a delivery meal/meals or takeout. They have forgotten several items. Today I ordered a meal online and they had trouble processing it through the website, so the manager Michaela again was awesome and was able to take care of it. When I went to pick up the order, however, I was still missing an item. I came here for the first time for dinner, and it's safe to say I'll never be back. We both got the steak combos. The steak had zero flavor and the shrimp had zero flavor. The broccoli side I got was super dry and not fresh ... they didn't even put salt or butter. My husbands steak and chicken combo was chewy and the chicken was super salty. His veggie side was super overcooked and dry. Overall, the food is terrible here. They only got two stars for the service. The waitress was fast and nice. Oh and for the price, it's definitely not worth it to come here, there's way better place nearby. read more

Very disappointed. Came late night to grab a quick bite to eat but was very disappointing when the food came out. You telling me That the small plate of fries were $6!!!! Not even a full basket, a little plate of a 4 oz serving of fries. I could have went to McDonald's and got way more for less, majority restaurants I could have went to and got way more for less. Where are these potatoes coming from, top of the Himalayan mountain??? Had I known that I wouldn't have ordered it, the crazy thing is the price isn't even listed on the menu. Why would you all hide something like that???? I expressed it with a few of the restaurant workers but it seems like it's the norm. Had I known that I definitely wouldn't have ordered the Small plate of fries. I understand it's on a corporate level so hopefully they'll fix this problem. I should have gotten my money back. I had a wonderful meal out with my family at this BJ's location tonight. I have always found the kids meals to be a hit with my kids as they include a mini appetizer of fruit and roll. Tonight they replaced the rolls with goldfish crackers which were a fun option. I didn't request more info as the kids were happy and if they weren't bothered, I didn't want to give them a reason to be. The food came out and we were all satisfied with what we ordered. I should mention we did a calamari appetizer that was quite good and I wouldn't hesitate to order it again. The main courses were all good too and we had a great time out! I want to start by saying that we have always had a good experience at the BJ's chain of restaurants, but last night was a bad night for the Greenwood location. Initial food service was slow, but it was okay for us since we weren't in a hurry. We also extended some respect to our server who has only been performing her job for 1 months. At the end of our service things went south as we noticed a sudden difference in the service. My wife's drink sat empty for about 20 minutes after she ordered a new one. When we got the new drink our meal was finished, and our server said she would be back soon to clear our dirty plates and bring a to-go box. We did not see her again for about 20 minutes, and when we did, she was struggling to get the pizookie deserts served to her other tables, meanwhile my son had not received his desert. We finally asked the hostess to get us a to-go box and our check, and she brought the box and said she would get our server. Finally the server came back after another 20 minutes with our check. I told her that my son did not receive his desert and she made it known that the kitchen was buried and she was left to do all of the deserts herself. It was clear that her desert making was disruptive not only to our table, but all of the tables in her section. I made it known to the manager as I was leaving that we had a horrible experience. He immediately asked which table we were at, but to me it didn't matter what table it was because there is a clear personnel management issue at this location. I'm afraid the manager reprimanded the server, but I hope they take a deep look at the operation before placing blame. read more

I've been to BJ's a few times now. They have a huge menu, which is easily marked with gluten sensitive and vegetarian/vegan options. I can't have dairy, and that's a little trickier to figure out on their menu, but doable via a look at their ingredients on their website. I really like their power quinoa bowl. I've gotten it with salmon and blackened chicken in the past. Both are delicious! When they're busy, BJ's can be a little loud for my tastes. They have TVs on the walls, fairly standard for places like this, but the sensory input can be a bit much for me. Last time I was there was on a Sunday evening, and it was far from empty but less busy than other visits I've made. I liked the quieter space so maybe Sunday evenings are the time to go! I enjoy BJ's for an every-now-and-then dinner spot and will look forward to another visit in the future. read more

This location is cozy and intimate-Yet there is a lot of seating. Our service was very slow. There were 16 of us with one waitress who was training a waitress. The training waitress was evidently not allowed to do anything. She just shadowed. It took us a very long time to receive our food and bills. We never received our desserts , we ended up asking for them to go. We were there for a birthday party. The food was decent. Those who got the jambalaya enjoyed it. First time at any BJ's anywhere, and we were fairly well impressed. It's a quite impressive restaurant, with lots of room and very comfortable surroundings. AND, no mind-numbing loud music. Which was a definite plus in my book. I had shrimp alfredo, which was very generously portioned, which also a very creamy sauce that wasn't overly done with butter. The broccoli cheese soup in a bread bowl was simply outstanding!! I, of course, enjoyed it before the main entree arrived. My wife was more than happy with her grilled chicken meal. BUT, the absolute highlight of the meal was the WARM strawberry shortcake with ice cream!!! It was most definitely a top drawer dessert. And reason enough to make a return trip very soon. Waiter was inattentive with the personality of a wet noodle. Took forever to come to the table during the entire visit. Food came out cold and they offered to remake the second time was warmer but still not great and they still charged full price for the side of mashed potatoes that I only kept because I was really hungry. The restaurant is attached to Greenwood Mall, so you'll have the convenience of shopping and dining. There was a 20 minute wait when we arrived, but we were able to sit in the bar area immediately. Jordan, our waitress, approached us quickly to take our drink orders. She is quick, friendly and knowledgeable. She is very good at what she does, which made the customer service portion of the experience very pleasurable. The food looked as good as it tasted. The only complaint is that the Loaded Nachos are served in a pan, lined with paper. In our case the cheese was melted on the paper. As a result, we ended up pulling chewed up paper out of our mouths until we realized that we were eating paper. Overall, the restaurant (including the female restroom) was clean. The restroom smelled good as well. It was a little crowded, but the service was very good and overall the food (including dessert) was fantastic! I might just go back for dessert!!! I went here twice last week as I was attending a conference and going out with groups of folks. The second time I was there with about 22 others in our group! After our first experience (with a group of 6), we suggested returning with the larger group. The menu has a great variety of options, and everyone enjoyed what she had to eat. There were sufficient options for a variety of dietary needs. Those of us in the first group were anxious to come back and try something different. A couple of us had lukewarm food when it came to us, but the staff was quick to remedy that. The server was proficient at taking and remembering details about our orders. Let me start out by saying we used to frequent this restaurant as well as our family and friends. The last handful of times we have visited, it wasn't a great experience. We tried again today. We sat at the bar and after a bit more than 10 minutes, someone advised us there wasn't a bartender but he (Austin) could serve us food, beer and wine and any cocktails would have to be done by the manager. Austin was fabulous by the way, he saved the day. The host could have told us that when we said we were sitting at the bar. Our server was great, once he knew that he had to take care of us and the food was great. 2 managers walked by us more than once and never acknowledged us or asked if we were OK (before we were waited on and after) There was a police officer sitting at the bar listening to his phone on speaker as loud as I've ever heard. So loud that we couldn't hear the music very well. I asked the server about it and he said "do you want me to ask a manager?" "He is a regular." So basically no one asked him to turn it down, just a little. Well, I used to be a regular and what if I could be in the future? But they didn't care one bit. I sure miss the days when Jeremy (Jeremiah) was the bartender, then manager then GM. Those sure were the days. I really enjoy BJ's food, but I think I will drive the extra miles to Avon going forward. **edit as I was typing this while we were paying and I was going to wait until we left but....the manager did do some cleaning behind the bar (directly in front of us) and still never acknowledged us whatsoever. I gave this place 3 attempts before resorting to this. Its horrible. The food is really bad. The staff seem to hate their Jobs. This place use to be great. I had 2 IPA's and they were $10 a piece. I live downtown Indy and don't pay that much. Our food came out completely wrong and our waiter was miserable so he didn't check on us. We got sat in the middle of a companies Christmas party. With 2 little kids. Just not worth $85 for 2 adults with 2 beers and no appetizers. We were laughing at how bad it was and said we will never go back. read more

Recently visited on a Monday, so restaurant was not busy. The server was very cordial. We have never had a bad experience at this restaurant. My go to BJ's Brewhouse Bowl was good as usual. The wife had the slow roasted sirloin which was as thick as a filet most places. The waiter hadn't asked how she wanted it cooked and it was a little more rare than ideal, but she enjoyed it.
