Always feel free to ask about the menu photos when dining at Red Lobster. I ordered the Mariner's Seafood Boil and wondered if the picture showed exactly what was in the bag, especially the snow crab. The photo displayed two large clusters of snow crab, and I was told that it was accurate. A few minutes later, our server came back to say that the snow crab is sold by weight and that the photo was not exactly right. He apologized for the mix-up and said I would get one cluster, about half a pound. He also mentioned I could buy an additional snow crab if I wanted to. It all felt a bit confusing to me. this is the second time in the last few weeks my husband has done a to go order here at this location, and both times i've gotten my orders sloppily put in bag and had something missing one of the times. i had came in last thursday to place a order and when i came in the to go order worker was making it seem like i was inconveniencing her. Then when i was told to wait because my order wasn't done when i came back to check on it her and what to looked like the manager were seemingly flirting???? and then rushed to put everything in my bag to get back to talking and ended up going everywhere in the bag . second time i came this week similar experience and had missing sides in bag . We stopped by for the AYCE shrimp. Sadly, they were out of two of the best items: the Shrimp Rangoon and the Crispy Dragon Shrimp. My favorite was the Grilled Shrimp Skewers. Our family had such a lovely dinner here, and I just had to take a moment to share our experience. The food was fantastic--everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. From the warm Cheddar Bay Biscuits to the beautifully cooked seafood, my husband and I and even our kids (who are very picky eaters) left full and happy! But what truly made the night special was our server, Eugene. We actually recognized him from the Largo location (which sadly closed down), where he had given us amazing service in the past--and we were thrilled to see him again here! Eugene was just as wonderful as we remembered. He helped us navigate the menu with genuine care, suggesting delicious combinations that also helped us save money--which any family appreciates! He was personable and funny and struck the perfect balance of being attentive without hovering, always checking in at just the right time. Our drinks were refilled before we even had to ask, and he made sure each of us had everything we needed throughout the meal. Sadly, it's rare these days to get that level of thoughtful, personal service, and it really made our evening feel special. Made a special date visit when we saw the shrimp special. Plenty of parking, quick seating. Service was excellent and food was hot and tasty. We each tried 3 styles. My wife got the Crispy Dragon, Walt's best and Coconut shrimp. I got the Crispy Dragon, Walt's Favorite and Skewered shrimp. We both got side salads to start, then she a Loaded Baked Potato and I the Rice Pilaf. I had wanted to try the Shrimp Rangoon but they were out due to supply issues. Salads came quickly, cold, crisp and delicious. Not long after our meals came. Now we do visit frequently and my wife's favorite is always the Coconut shrimp but she had never tried the Grilled Skewers and she loved them! That smoky flavor got her hooked. My wife and I went here Saturday night (5/13/23) for an early Mothers Day dinner. First of all the food was great and our server was great. There were a couple minor things with service but she corrected them quickly. When we walked in the bar was covered with dirty glasses and Empty beer bottles. There were no customers at the bar. It remained this way for 20 to 30 minutes. The bartender just stood there doing nothing. At one point he seemed to be discussing with a manager whether it was his job to clean it up or not. He finally began cleaning it after a long time. I could understand if he was busy making drinks or getting bottles of beer but he wasn't. This really lowered our enjoyment of the evening. We have been to this Red Lobster many times over the years and always had a good time and great food. I don't know if we'll go back to this Red Lobster location again because of this experience. read more

The restaurant was so what empty but quickly filled up during my meal. Our waiter Terry was fantastic and so friendly and truly made my families get-together/sisters birthday so enjoyable and unforgettable. It was SO busy (Probably because lobster season is here and they are having a "lobster fest" special on their menu) despite a ton of tables this man was juggling he still showed so much patience, he worked diligently, quick and efficiently. Very impressed. Ahh, the menu is SO big... I did NOT know what to order, but what was ordered was not regretted... the shrimp was cooked to buttery perfection and the lobster tail was so juicy and tender. The food was surprisingly, rather delicious. I wouldn't of expected a Red Lobster (which to me isn't generally the best place to eat seafood) to be as good as it was. I've gone here since I was a kid and it's always been good, and my fiancé has never been here before so I suggested coming here. BIG mistake. For starters, we waited 20 minutes just to get drinks, my fiancé ordered a mixed drink and I ordered water and he got his drink 10 minutes before I even got my water, and then there was food floating in my water. Our waitress paid no attention to us and when she spoke to us she was slurring like she was drunk, or on something. We asked her for butter 4 times before we even got it. Then we were eating and my fiancé asked for more bbq sauce for his fries and it literally took her 15 minutes just to bring it and by the time she brought it we were done and just ready to go. We were there for AT LEAST 2 and half hours and not by choice. Really disappointed in how this place has turned out. read more

The food is hit or miss. Sometimes it's good but not consistent. Service is excellent as servers work their hardest to get take the orders and serve the food. So this review is not about them. They get four stars. At yesterday's lunch, the Caesar salad was over dressed and the chicken that was added to it was tasteless and dry. My husband's flounder was not flounder but end pieces of cod. And, by the way, why are the Cheddar Biscuits soft and moist sometimes and stale and dry other times? Reheated leftovers? Who knows. We had gift cards and had gifted one to our neighbor for his birthday. It was a total of $75. The waitress said that the cards were not activated, which was not true as they didn't have to be. We asked for the manager and she said their machine wouldn't take the card and she couldn't override it. We ended up paying $75 more for our meal than we anticipated. My husband and I were extremely embarrassed as we gave the card as a gift. I called the number on the back of the card and they stated that the restaurant rang them up wrong and didn't follow the instructions on the card. We will never eat here again! Well I must say Red Lobster did impressed me the other night. We started with a lobster and mac and cheese and it was nice and creamy. Would have liked it a little bit spicier but I'm sure that's a personal taste. We split a 2 lb Maine Lobster and it was tender and juicy. The meal came with two sides plus a salad. The salad lettuce was crispy and had some tomatoes croutons cheese, Etc. The baked potato and green beans with mushrooms were both cooked perfectly. The beer was cold and the lights dimmed nicely at the booths. We did not sit at the bar because it was too bright there. Service I must say it was very good. Our waiter always checked on us. I even join the rewards program while sitting at the table. You get 75 points just for signing up and with our bill, I have a free appetizer coming.
