I'm not even sure this place should get a three star. The chef is trained French cuisine. Different dishes on the menu are then given a French flair. Ahi tuna/poke isn't prepared the Hawaiian way. Caesar salad has an awful dressing nothing like a homemade dressing with anchovies. The hummus appetizer plate is prepared with an altered "hummus" not tasting at all like a garlic, or, a roasted red pepper, or, a black olive concoction. Totally tasteless. read more

Three stars for being edible & available. Because I'm staying at the resort, I decided to explore this food option. I sat at the bar and my experience was just mediocre. Now I do want to say that everyone at this actual resort is very nice. I just wasn't really impressed with the bar staff this particular day. To put it simply everything just took way too long. When I sat down, it took me too long to receive a menu or greeting. I didn't really go there to hang out. I just went for a quick bite and it was not quick I was there over an hour for a Smashbutger and fries. The burger itself way too salty. It was a double cheeseburger and I couldn't tell if it had bacon on it or if it was just the smashed cooked bits but the first bite wasn't too bad, but I couldn't finish it for how much salt it had. The best thing on the plate was the condiment because it was pepper ketchup, that was a nice touch. The pickle was good too. I did sweat a lot today because it's hot so maybe all the sodium was needed.... But it was definitely a gut bomb. I should have opted for the salad not the fries. Overall, edible but won't be ordering it again. Oh the water tasted weird too. Ended up spending $29 after tip. read more

The Market Salamander is a nice place for breakfast. Service was fast, and all the employees were wearing masks. Our breakfast was served fast and hot. They are cashless which is another added convenience. There is an indoor and outdoor dining option. The outside area is very nice, and has a nice Fire Pit to warm the crisp fall weather. read more

Hands down the WORST restaurant experience we have ever had in our lives. They served my children INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH BLEACH over ice with a straw. You read that right! There was bleach in the water pitcher, it was poured in a cup and served to both of my children instead of water. The way that the executve leadership team handled the situation was like something out of the twilight zone. I was a member of Innisbrook from 2011-2021 and I was a resident of Innisbrook from 2017-2021. The current managing director Mike Williams is the main reason we sold our house located inside of Innisbrook and ended our Innisbrook membership. This bleach incident was the start of it. I do not recommend this restaurant and I do not recommend Innisbrook Resort. LOTS of other local options! read more

If you are not staying at the resort don't bother to eat here. We made early reservations in the middle of the week. This was the first time that my wife was coming out after knee surgery and she was unsteady on her walker. We arrived to the restaurant a bit late due to problems with directions. All the tables were empty. They sat my wife in a 2 person table against the wall quite uncomfortable. I requested another table and was told all the other tables were reserved by specific people. Now this is not Lutece but a glorified golf pub. So this was probably a lie. I told the young lady that we would be quick but to no avail. Called the manager & no satisfaction . Luckily Packards, their premier steakhouse, was able to fit us outside and they were extremely nice. I include the view we had "fantastic" if you go to Packards ask for Ralph he'll Treat you nice! read more

My fiancé and I have come here a few times over the past month. Most were pretty nice, as we would sit outside by the fire pit. Today, the hostess approached us with her mask below her mouth, to tell us that it wasn't safe for us to go to the bartender for drinks. We walked by the bartender that wasn't wearing a mask and went outside. The waitresses don't really go outside that often, so you still have to go inside to ask for drinks. I came in on a Saturday night, it wasn't very busy and I ordered one of the speciality cocktails. That was my first mistake. The drink was so watered down it tasted like juice. I couldn't taste the tequila or chambord that were promised in the description. I ordered a burger because I knew I had a long night of drinking ahead. The burger was okay, nothing to write home about as the shuttle driver bragged but good enough not to send back. It was very salty, as were the fries by that was about the only flavor I could taste. The bartender was decent enough, not overt friendly and certainly not quick. I asked for my bill and saw that she had overcharged me for my drink and burger. If only my eyes could have helped my jaw chew through the pork belly! My wife had a grossly overpriced sirloin but at least it tasted good and was tender enough for a low quality cut of beef. We started the meal with the spring roles. They weren't terrible... Not amazing but not terrible. There were 3 servers and 10 tables and they couldn't handle the amount of patrons. The service was friendly but slow. I spent the majority of the lengthy meal without a beverage. Overall it was over priced and underwhelming. Experience Brain This resort was my Christmas gift to my Caramel, and I could have sworn I saw a picture of a huge fire pit with people roasting marshmallows. That was the whole reason we came here that night. Alas, we were informed that there is no roasting of marshmallows over their fake fire pit. Crap! Rather than storming off in a huff, we claimed two of the super comfy fireside chairs and enjoyed the relaxing ambiance. Not long after settling in, a server came along to see if we needed anything. Really sweet girl. She offered waters while we looked over the menu, and brought them right out. We decided to stick to drinks while we relaxed, and I went for the Osprey Apple, while my Gorgeous ordered the Island Mango Punch. It took quite a while for the drinks to get to us (close to 30 minutes), but we were in no hurry. Had we been hungry or thirsty, it would have gotten real ugly real fast. For our two drinks and nothing else the bill was $26 and change. The Osprey Apple was actually good enough I added it to my favorites to make at home. That Island Mango Punch however was terrible. I tasted no mango or pineapple juice, only A LOT of water and some horrifically low grade OJ concentrate. Not cool. It was the first reason I chose to close our check and not order anything else. The second reason? A 30 minute ticket time on two non-special order signature drinks. Either the bartender is new or needs to be. Right around the halfway point on our drinks, the serene silence was crushed to dust by the talents of a pair of musicians whose speakers volume knobs were turned to the stops. Please take note, those two can SING! Some of the best covers of Michael Jackson favorites and even a few newer songs that impressed the hell out of us both. Had the volumes been turned down below the 900db level, we would have stayed longer. My advice is simple, bring ear plugs. No joke, it was LOUD. Chef Brain The servers were all fantastic! Very attentive, but they would also leave us alone while we were talking unless our glasses were empty. Since we did not order food, I won't even speculate on how the kitchen staff performs here. I've read the reviews, but I can only say that no employee ever suggested that we eat on property. We were in contact with close to a dozen people working at the resort, but not one of them said that we needed to try some plate in one of their restaurants. I take that lack of enthusiasm to heart as someone who still suggests certain locations I'm familiar with from my past to total strangers. I don't get a kick back. I just know that the food is that good. When a dozen people agree enough that they don't say a word? I'm going to listen. All I will say about the food, based entirely on reading the menu, is that there needs to be more variety from location to location, more originality in general, and (for those prices) it better be scratch made. Pulled pork and pulled chicken in more than one thing each on a high priced menu? Seriously? I have ordered food on a satisfied, and sometimes full, stomach just because the menu was that impressive and I just had to try it. Dining out is supposed to be done because these dishes are unique and cannot be found somewhere else, not "Well, it's open and we are already here." A restaurant so good people drag friends and family out on an hour long drive one way, and brag about their loyalty to every employee they see when they arrive. "I can't wait to see what they've got tonight!" Was a common remark made at several of my former jobs. Those are the type of places I've worked. Those are the places I search for. Those are the places I still tell strangers on the street they need to make the special trip just to try it out. read more

I might give the Grille at Innisbrook 3.5 stars. We've stopped in for lunch a couple of time after a round of golf. The greek salad, tuna club and grilled veggie sandwich were very good - - - and so were the waffle fries. The lesser stars are due to service. The wait staff is not very polished and at times slow and/or lacking of the common courtesy's (i.e. keeping the water glass full, responding positively to requests). They are not rude - - - just not polished or what you would expect from a resort. They could also use some help in servicing folks who stop in for a drink as they are rounding the turn to the back nine. Their drink service is quite slow. The ambiance with the outdoor patio is great . . . if they would just step up the quality of their wait-staff to match the service you receive at the rest of the resort, I would consider 4 stars. read more

For a golf course bar and grille I was super surprised how great their food was. Some of the best wings I've had and I eat a ton of wings. Service was awesome too We shut the bar down at a work event one night and frequented it through the week. One server even took care of us during our takeover of the clubhouse for registration. However, we had the unfortunate luck of having a waiter named Brandon wait on us last night. Sadly, the service was horrible as he had to repeatedly come back to the table and ask us what our order was. He also, unfortunately for the table behind us, mixed up orders, forgot to put some in, etc. He never once refilled our wine glasses even through the bottle was on our table. The table behind us got up and left it was so bad. Sadly, this is not indicative of the typical experience here because as I mentioned, the food is very good. I came to the Innisbrook Resort and Spa for a company outing. We arrived on our first evening around 7PM and were really hungry after a long flight. We headed straight to the Salamander Grill thinking we would get a quick bite to eat. Boy were we wrong. The place was half full and it took them over 35 minutes to get the five of us bottled beer and diet cokes and our appetizer of onion rings. It took a complete hour for us to receive our entrees. We decided to place bets on when the second round of drinks would come and surprisingly it took only 2 minutes. At the end, when she came back to give us our checks, she forgot to give 2 out of the 5 of us our checks. I'm giving it 3 stars because the Lobster Mac N Cheese I ordered was amazing and one of the best Mac N Cheese dishes I've had (or maybe it was because I was starving by the time I finally received it.) read more

Live in Trinity area, Went here on New Years Eve for Dinner, drinks etc with freinds. I would give it more stars, the staff was great, the food was good but the DRINKS were horrible, the drinks were wrong, fruit, no fruit, wrong mix and these are just Vodka and soda/Tonic drinks, PLUS the booze was NON existent. My wife is a very light drinker maybe 3 on a good night, when she says the drinks are light thats bad, The waiter was cool and went back to the bar several times and asked for a topper to try and make us happy but you could tell he was not having a great time begging the bar tenders. All in all, we spent over 600 bucks for the 4 of us on dinner and drinks until 1 am or so. We will not go back and spend this kind of money and get a measured maybe 1 ounce shot, sorry Innisbrook you lost out on four good people who tip good and go out often. read more
