    Smash burger & truffle fries

Three stars for being edible & available. Because I'm staying at the resort, I decided to explore this food option. I sat at the bar and my experience was just mediocre. Now I do want to say that everyone at this actual resort is very nice. I just wasn't really impressed with the bar staff this particular day. To put it simply everything just took way too long. When I sat down, it took me too long to receive a menu or greeting. I didn't really go there to hang out. I just went for a quick bite and it was not quick I was there over an hour for a Smashbutger and fries. The burger itself way too salty. It was a double cheeseburger and I couldn't tell if it had bacon on it or if it was just the smashed cooked bits but the first bite wasn't too bad, but I couldn't finish it for how much salt it had. The best thing on the plate was the condiment because it was pepper ketchup, that was a nice touch. The pickle was good too. I did sweat a lot today because it's hot so maybe all the sodium was needed.... But it was definitely a gut bomb. I should have opted for the salad not the fries. Overall, edible but won't be ordering it again. Oh the water tasted weird too. Ended up spending $29 after tip.

The Market Salamander is a nice place for breakfast. Service was fast, and all the employees were wearing masks. Our breakfast was served fast and hot. They are cashless which is another added convenience. There is an indoor and outdoor dining option. The outside area is very nice, and has a nice Fire Pit to warm the crisp fall weather.

Hands down the WORST restaurant experience we have ever had in our lives. They served my children INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH BLEACH over ice with a straw. You read that right! There was bleach in the water pitcher, it was poured in a cup and served to both of my children instead of water. The way that the executve leadership team handled the situation was like something out of the twilight zone. I was a member of Innisbrook from 2011-2021 and I was a resident of Innisbrook from 2017-2021. The current managing director Mike Williams is the main reason we sold our house located inside of Innisbrook and ended our Innisbrook membership. This bleach incident was the start of it. I do not recommend this restaurant and I do not recommend Innisbrook Resort. LOTS of other local options!

I tried to muster more than a three star rating but I just can't make it happen. The food is pretty and as we all know you eat with your eyes first. If only my eyes could have helped my jaw chew through the pork belly! My wife had a grossly overpriced sirloin but at least it tasted good and was tender enough for a low quality cut of beef. We started the meal with the spring roles. They weren't terrible... Not amazing but not terrible. There were 3 servers and 10 tables and they couldn't handle the amount of patrons. The service was friendly but slow. I spent the majority of the lengthy meal without a beverage. Overall it was over priced and underwhelming. I would recommend going off-property if you have the desire for a quality meal.

Great service and the food was delicious! Our steaks were some of the best we've had in the area. Better than Ruth's Chris and Rococo.

Predatory worker compensation structure - Be aware…read more We recently dined here and noticed the tabletop signs explaining a mandatory 20% "commission" added to every single bill. When speaking with our server, she informed us that management classifies the waitstaff as 1099 independent contractors, meaning they receive a $0 hourly base rate from the restaurant and rely entirely on this mandatory guest fee for their paycheck.I have a physical copy of the check showing this automatic fee. While the sign claims this "supports our team," classifying standard restaurant servers as 1099 workers instead of W-2 employees is a massive red flag that contradicts federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) guidelines. Independent contractors set their own hours and operations; servers do not. Furthermore, a restaurant cannot legally leave a server's direct hourly base wage at zero by relying entirely on automatic service fees.We love supporting local staff, but we want our money going to businesses that respect basic labor laws and compensate their employees legally. Hopefully, public pressure will force management to fix their payroll structure. The server said the restaurant was on the verge of bankruptcy and had to make changes. Sadly they chose to break the law. On that note the service was lovely, the food very tasty. I asked to sub corn for flour tortias and she was able. We don't directly live in the area, and its been a while since we've been here. Its always good, with good portions and not a chain. Its so unfortunate.

A lot of the restaurants are closed for lunch though, which is how we ended up here. It's a lot larger than it looks. There's a really cute covered outdoors area in the back with a stage for performances. There were only a few diners there for lunch on a Friday so it was easy to grab a spot. I got a skinny strawberry margarita, it made me happy to see a skinny version of a flavored margarita on the menu. It has a sugar rim and was delicious. It's on the sweet side and I'd definitely get it again. I requested it without soda water. For my main I got the salmon bowl. I wouldn't get this again, but it's because the base is mainly fried wontons. I thought it would be a scattering of fried wontons but nope, it was a hefty portion. I didn't eat most of the fried wontons because I'm trying to be healthy. It's a delicious dish, just not for me. Service was great, but we were an easy table because we were chatting the entire time. I enjoyed our meal here, so we will definitely be back!

We ordered the fried green tomatoes. I only wish they were sliced just a tad thinner, but they were tasty nonetheless. My friend got the pork and she had enough for 2 meals. I got the grouper and it was a smaller portion but a perfect size and very good as well. The standout as the Reese's cookie. It was big and crispy on the edges and nice and soft everywhere else. We shared this and the price was great at $4. In a world filled with crumbl at $5+, this cookie blew them away. I really enjoyed this meal.

It's a place that would return to and if you haven't gone there at least try it one time. However. I would tell you make a reservation, but also get there early because parking is at times hard to find. I lucked out had a parallel parked right next to the front door, first time, my parallel parked in 40 years and I stuck at the first time very proud of myself. Here's some pictures of our dinners.

Knowledgeable, personable and attentive.....what more could you ask for? The overall experience was wonderful, as always. Nice, cozy atmosphere. Excellent service. And the food was pretty much perfect. I ordered the special ($90), a Tomahawk rib-eye cooked Pittsburgh medium and it was prepared perfectly! (see pictures). My girlfriend ordered the seafood Risotto, that was also excellent, with crawfish, scallops and shrimp. I always look forward to their Flame stone salad with pecans, cheese, dried cranberries and creamy balsamic vinaigrette. I would have given 5 stars but for me, at these prices, I would expect the meals to include bread and salad. The rib-eye came with 2 sides, the risotto with nothing.

Most of the steak was well-done. The fries were okay and I wasn't a fan of the sauce it came with. I still cleared my plate because I was hungry. It wasn't worth bringing up to the server due to not wanting to wait for another steak to be cooked. Some comments from the rest of the group: the steak salad came with blue cheese crumbles and that's all you could taste. It overpowered the salad. The BLT wedge was okay, nothing over the top. The caesar salad with steak was good. The mac n cheese had good flavor but it was super oily. Overall, I was disappointed with the experience, especially for the price.
