We also started with the complimentary bread, which is always a nice touch. For an appetizer, we ordered the seasoned steakhouse wings and they were flavorful and a great starter. I ordered Flo's steak cooked medium with a side salad with French dressing and a loaded baked potato. My meal was satisfying and honestly the perfect portion because I finished every bite. The baked potato was especially scrumptious. Both boys ordered the full rack of ribs and really enjoyed them. Their sides included Brussels sprouts, fries, broccoli, and mac and cheese, and I didn't hear a single complaint. I tried some of the Brussels sprouts myself and they were actually really yummy. My husband ordered the ribeye with fries and Brussels sprouts and he enjoyed his meal as well. He also got a mango margarita, which I tasted and liked. The boys had the strawberry lemonade and raspberry lemonade and both drinks were a hit. I wasn't sure whether refills were included, but Lina kindly offered them refills and there wasn't an extra charge on the bill, which was appreciated. They also have a rewards program, which is a nice perk. For my birthday month, I received a free dessert coupon with the purchase of an entree. I mentioned it to our server and she happily helped me decide since I was undecided on dessert. She took the time to explain all the options, which I appreciated. I ended up choosing the Strawberry Shortcake to go because I was already full from my meal. My kids ended up indulging in it later and they really liked it. The ambiance is family friendly with a cozy lodge-style atmosphere. The dim lighting and cabin-like decor give it a warm, rustic feel that makes it comfortable for both families and casual dinners. It wasn't too busy when we first arrived, but the crowd definitely started to pick up as the evening went on. I also want to give a huge shoutout to whoever found my purse after I accidentally left it here. I didn't realize it was missing until several days later, and when I called, the manager let me know they had it safely stored. Whenever we go to any state that has a longhorn we always give them a try. We visited this on in Indy and they didn't disappoint. The staff were friendly and attentive. There were 2 kids in our party and they were very patient. We got the Shrimp appetizer and as always it was one of my favorite parts of the meal. We went yesterday 6.4.26, we went early like 5:30pm. I thought being there that early that we catch the "Happy Hour" but when we sat the bar, they said they don't have a Happy Hour. I was sad... First time I've been to Longhorn steakhouse on Southport Road in Greenwood. The decor was really nice. It was cozy. You could actually talk the service unfortunately it was on a holiday and they were swamped, but it was pretty good. My wife had the lime chicken breast and asparagus with a house salad. I had the western shrimp that wasn't very spicy but OK. all in all I would recommend this place think we'll go back and have a steak next time. Now my husband doesn't get to eat what we paid for or how else even likes it cooked, we order all our steaks medium and all 3 of our steaks came out well done. I will be calling/going up there once they open but the chances they do anything is very doubtful. We got charged $37.49 for the Porterhouse and the Tbone is roughly $32.39. Not only were our steaks wrong we both got broccoli and it was so soggy,it was mushy and we didn't even eat that. She managed the bar like a pro! She never kept us waiting and took the time to speak to us. Super friendly and always cheerful. When we were seated we had a great waitress, Rebecca who took very good care of us. She too was super friendly and a pleasure to have. We laughed often with her throughout the time we were there. The food was very good. There was 8 of us. We had a lot of appetizers, drinks, and dinner. Stuffed by the time we left. Long Horn has excellent steaks and ribs. The potato soup was okay but nothing special and the mushrooms were way too cheesy which overpowered the mushrooms. I went with a large group and we had great service. My group drank a lot and she was constantly coming to refill their drinks. One of the people in my group tried their ribs and said that they were okay but wished they were better. This further proves that you should only get steak here. Another member of my party got the renegade sirloin steak and said it was very flavorful and he loved it. It had been so long since I've eaten at a Long Horn. I love the Western decor! We were greeted as we walked in, and quickly seated. Our waitress was quick to come and get drink orders/appetizers. Once we ordered, our salads came out within minutes of ordering. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and were seasoned deliciously! The waitress kept our drinks filled and dirty plates cleared. It is a little more expensive than some other chains, but the quality of the food and service reflect that. (And it's only slightly more expensive - very much worth the extra.) I don't know how to start. The issue i had was not in the food. The steak good along with our soup. The problem was with our waitress and manager. She seemed completely out of it and we had to repeat everything we ordered. No big deal maybe she was having a bad day. I ordered a side salad and soup. When my salad came it was the entree salad. No big deal except when asked about it she lied and told me they dont serve that as a side. Instead of correcting it she just lied. I am not being cheap I just don't eat that much anymore. Here's the issue...when we got our check it was not the correct check. In fact it was about 25 dollars cheaper than what it should be. We asked for the manager. He came out and not judging him but he was looking very dirty and sloppy. I mean jeans and a tshirt. Both him and his clothes looked like they needed a shower. Not a great impression for a steakhouse. He said the waitress gave our ticket to another couple who paid it and left. So our ticket was already closed out. He asked us to pay for cheaper ticket because it would be a lot to open our ticket back up and it was significantly cheaper. This afternoon, my Mother and I visited this Longhorn Steakhouse location for lunch. We haven't dined at a Longhorn Steakhouse for over a decade. We heard so much positive feedback about it from fellow family members that recently dined here, so we had to follow suit and come. We went during lunch hours, so there wasn't a large crowd. The entire facility was squeaky-clean, sanitized, peaceful, with an interesting ambience. Our Waiter, Jeffrey, was an absolute gentleman. He was kind, knowledgeable about the menu, knew what foods won over customer-popularity, was prompt with timing and cycling out our beverages, and even went the extra mile with asking questions if we had any food allergies. We all ended up carrying on a great conversation. Now, shifting toward the food. We were extremely impressed. The quality, freshness, temperature, flavor, presentation, and everything else you could list that makes food worth your while? We easily check marked everything. The complimentary loaf of Bread was so healthy, refreshing, and unique compared other chain-restaurants. It consisted of Oats, Whole Grains, Flax Seeds, Wheat, and had a nutty flavor to it. It was freshly baked, which made it even better. We had both ordered Soups for our appetizers (The French-Onion and Shrimp & Lobster Chowder), and the Parmesan Crusted Chicken Meals with different sides (The Steakhouse Mac & Cheese, and Mashed Potatoes.) The soups were very filling. The melted Provolone cheese covered and complimented the entire bowl. The flavor was outstanding, and it felt like I was drinking a sleepy-time Tea. It put a calming essence in my spirit from the warmth. The Chowder was very upbeat and energizing. It had a strong kick from the spices, and definitely went well with the complimentary Bread. The Chicken alone was grilled to perfection. It was very moist, succulent, and wholesome. The Alfredo sauce and crusted Parmesan was like a dream; creamy, rich, velvety, and melted in your mouth. The Mashed Potatoes were so soft, whipped, and delicate. There was a very generous portion of it too! The Steakhouse Mac & Cheese was very rich! It had the perfect blend of sauce and crunchiness from the toasted Parmesan topping. The smokiness from the Bacon was indescribable. It's a menu-charmer for sure! We've been going to Longhorn for many years. We stopped going before the pandemic because they stopped serving French onion soup and their service/food wasn't that good. I don't know if they've changed management or what's happened, but the last two times we've went there the steaks are perfect and they have French onion soup back on the menu. I stopped at Longhorn Steakhouse on the way back from Tennessee. I really wanted a good steak and salad and Longhorn was conveniently located close to I-65. I was greeted quickly and taken right away to a booth. I sat for several minutes before my server arrived. After watching for a few minutes I noticed she was the only server in my area. She arrived after a few minutes to take my drink and dinner order. She was very friendly and took great care of me. I ordered the sirloin, baked potato and side salad. The steak was cooked perfectly, as requested, the potato was tender and the salad was crisp with several toppings.
