Love me some Red Lobster!!! But, this one lacks in flavor. Got the Shrimp Cocktail. Not enough horseradish in the sauce, first of all. The shrimp didn't taste like they normally do these were very rubbery and just tasteless. Blahhh. Ok up next the salad. Ohhh wait. Where are those cheesy bisquits? No where to be found. Ughhhh. Gotta have those to go with your appetizers, right?? She said she'd be right back with them. I think she forgot. Waiting....waiting...waiting... Salads here!!! Ugh. Still no bisquits. Waiting for them to get out of the oven. Huh?? Their not very busy. Ahhhh wait. They close soon. Yessss. Thinking that customers wont be coming in, no need to make more....right?? Soup. Clam Chowder. I visited the Red Lobster location in Kennesaw, GA, and was Extremely Disappointed in the presentation and serving size of the meal. The order was for takeout. The orzo rice of 3 small scoops was all over the salmon, potato, and sirloin. The salmon width was shorter than the length of my pinky and the length was a tad longer than my pinky. I felt like I ordered a child's meal for nearly $40.00. I called the store and spoke with the store manager on 9.16.2023. I did not want a refund just wanted to voice how my meal for my grandmother whose birthday it was caused me and my family to obtain another of her favorite food choices from another restaurant. I advised the store manger I and my family will not be visiting the location anytime soon and had I brought my grandmother to the store the meal portions would have been adult size. read more

If you've never been to Red Lobster, don't worry. It's not a place that you absolutely have try. The food can be good, but it's not the best seafood you could ever have. My family and I went and overall it was decent. Our server was nice but seemed a bit forgetful. The food was decent as well. The biscuits were maybe a bit too salty but at least flavorful. The rest of our meals were good as well, not much to complain about it. The various items in each meal complemented and made up for the lack of or overpowering of seasoning on each item. Overall not a bad choice for food but you could find better seafood elsewhere for a better value. read more

The service was amazing. But, the food was below average. I ordered tilapia with two sides, mashed potatoes and broccoli for $13.99. The broccoli came out almost raw. I didn't touch it after the initial bite. The mashed potatoes was not seasoned well. The tilapia was grilled and only had salt and pepper as seasoning. My utensils were dirty. Got a new one and that was also dirty. It made me not want to eat---very unappetizing. Finally got usable utensils on the third try. My boyfriend got salmon New Orleans with asparagus and rice for $18.99 + ($2.49 for asparagus). His Cesar salad was super salty. The salmon was overcooked. The asparagus was good, but for an extra charge of $2.49...it makes it not worth it. Also, when I was seated, I noticed crumbs on my seats so I had to brush it off before seating down. It wasn't a busy afternoon so they have no excuse for its uncleanliness. Overall, Cody S., our server receives a 5/5 on his excellent service. He is super attentive, nice, comedic, and goes beyond his job requirements. He noticed that both of my utensils were dirty and got me new ones right away. He also boxed my food and got our check really quickly. When you're here, request him or seat at table 63 for his amazing and speedy service. The food that I ate here tonight makes me never want to come back, resulting in a 1 star on this rating. The service here started out good but went down hill quickly. Once we placed our order it took at least 30 mins to get it but the family we was sat after us got their meals right away. Both of us were a family of 5. The food was awful. The steak was over cooked and the dishes and chips were warm not hot and the fish wasn't seasoned. As for the ambience we had to listen to a couple more so the lady she did all the talking complain the entire time about their relationship. THE FOOD Although there were some good values on the menu, I opted for the $28 Ultimate Feast which included a split Rock Lobster tail, butterfly shrimp, shrimp n' garlic and crab legs. Not exactly high quality, but once upon a time the price was a lot more reasonable. Top that with a bowl of their tasty clam chowder and a pineapple upside down dessert and my Father's Day meal was a real treat. Except that my two youngest boys ate nearly all of my clam chowder & crab legs, half my lobster tail, and 1/3rd of my shrimp as well as their plates of chicken fingers and popcorn shrimp too. They are in the middle of a growth spurt which simply means no food is safe within their viewing presence. THE VERDICT Thanks anyway Red Lobster! We visited this location because our home location was closed. We are glad we got to experience this Kennesaw, GA services. The Manager, Dee, came around to make sure everything was to or expectations. We ordered the unlimited shrimp and the poor waitress worked her butt off keeping up with the reorders and refills. Good old red lobster on a evening out with the Mrs. We were lookinG for something to eat aNd she saw the Lobster Fest commercial so she had to have it. We went and there was no wait which was good. Our server was nice and knew the menu and made some recommendations. I ended up with the Cajun chicken pasta and it was blah but not bad but not gReat but it is a seafood spot so I didn't expect the pasta to be all that great. The wife had the seafood platter. Like any good chain restaurant, the food should be consistent from one store to the next. The big difference comes in the service. Kudos to the Kennesaw store 0433. I took my wife and father-in-law for a Monday late lunch/early dinner. We ordered the all you can eat shrimp dinners. Which for three people at one table is a work out for the server. Our server, Pat did a GREAT job ! He was very attentive. There wasn't an empty glass, empty plate or empty sauces. As a plate was emptied, a fresh full was exchanged. My father-in-law is 83 yrs old and he said "Pat was the best server he has ever had". I have to agree, Pat is at the top of my list also. I stopped by Kennesaw Red Lobster for dinner with one of my coworkers in what would become my first (and only) experience at this popular American seafood restaurant chain. It appeared this location recently underwent some renovations because the restaurant looked new, inside and out. Red Lobster has a fun design because it's constructed to resemble something you'd find on a New England harbor. The wood furnishings and nautical decor (lighting, artwork) try to promote a feeling of dining on the docks. This chain offers just about every basic seafood staple: shrimp, crab, lobster, calamari, scallops, clams, and fish (flounder, salmon, tilapia, haddock); prepared in a variety of ways. You can even get lobster pizza. For landlubbers, they also serve wings and steaks. Considering I'm allergic to crustaceans, it knocked out a good portion of the menu for me and made ordering a whole lot easier. I ended up splitting the New England Seafood Sampler ($10.95) and ordering the $16.99 "Create Your Own Feast" consisting of wood-grilled salmon and peppercorn-grilled sirloin (you can also upgrade to three items for $20.99). The Seafood Sampler had seafood-stuffed mushrooms (lobster, crab), breaded clams, and bacon-wrapped sea scallops. The clam and scallop meat was on the measly side. Both the grilled salmon and grilled sirloin tasted like they'd been frozen and reheated. Dry, chewy, and just not very good. The seafood tasted like something you could find at Costco. Despite the lackluster food, service was great. The staff was friendly and welcoming and we received our orders from the kitchen in just a short amount of time. Attentive server. read more

I was impressed with the food at this restaurant. Last time I've eaten here, I was 20 years younger and I don't recall being the same. The appetizers were extremely tasty and the entrees were amazing. The food came out in a matter of a few minutes. To drink, I had the Bahama Mama.... Amazing mixed cocktail. Food was good but service not as good. I asked to have something substituted. I was told ok then when my bill came out they changed my meal and added another 15$ to what I had expected to pay. I understand why they did this, but I should of had a choice in the matter...not to be told it was fine and then add something to the bill. It was a delightful surprise that we can enjoy the delicious garlic gravy of the mussels platter with toast! The only minus was that the lobster bisque was too salty. Went again with another coupon. Did the pick two choices lunch combo. Server was good, food was decent but don't choose the scallops. Didn't realize they'd be bay scallops. These were extremely tiny. The portions are small for the price no matter what you get, at least as far as anything seafood. The veggies are always cooked to perfection though. I went to Red Lobster for the Lobster Fest and ordered the Ultimate Feast for $31.99 plus tax. The lobster and crab legs were cold. We told the server and she apologized and replaced them. Whoever microwaved the lobster and crab did a bad job. You could not cut the lobster with the knife and the crab legs would bend and would not crack. The shrimp scampi was good and the fried shrimp wasn't. The baked potato was cold. The biscuits were good and we asked the server for more and never got any. The lunch plus the tip was $39.00. I've been going to Red Lobster since 1992. The service is hit or miss. It's a nationwide chain so what do you expect. He're what happen the last time I went. Everything was fine, the waitress took our beverage order and never comes back. After about 20 mins I flag down a passing waitress and asked her to check with our waitress concerning our drinks and so we can place our order. She went and got our waitress, and I BS you not, our waitress said, "y'all must have just got here...I didn't take a drink order or anything." By the look on the face of the other waitress, I could tell something was up. I said we've been here for at least 25 min. You took our drink order. She said, "I'm sorry sir, I didn't take an order from this table." We were all dumb founded. The other waitress took care of us and apologized. As a restaurant manager I know what a pain it can be to communicate ToGo orders properly especially when utilizing either 3rd party services or the online ordering system. I understand the struggle. Now I will be the first person to tell you that I am that girl "I got a complicated order", extra this, no that etc. etc. Enough about me.... I placed my order online utilizing Red Lobster online ordering service. I would recommend that they allow notations to be made for each item ordered so that the 32 limit character space at the bottom does not end up with a whole bunch of attempted shorthand that looked like a personalized license plate. Like for my Caesar I wanted my dressing on the side and for my entree extra spicy and extra sauce. I noted what I could. So, rather than leave it to chance considering I had just be released from surgery and this is all I was craving would have been pissed if it were wrong, I called. I hadn't eaten since the day before. After sorting through the prompts I think I did end up with a pleasant and friendly hostess who quickly transferred me to "To Go" after several rings (more than the standard 3) a very helpful and pleasant man named Tim answered. Not only did he take the care and concern to review the order but ensured that everything was clear and made suggestions. He was personable, courteous and pleasure to deal with and able to follow all my spastic requests. When my mother returned with the order everything was perfect. I still needed to add a bit of cayenne to kick up the spice but I really like the heat. I was just extremely impressed with Tim on the phone, my order was excellent and I wanted it to be recognized. Best server ever .. Chase was the most polite, attentive, best customer service I've had recently. Every opportunity to go over and beyond he did, from bringing extra napkins with out being asked, to extra biscuits, to bring extra drinks out before we finished, willing to explain dishes, asked how we liked it, even came to check on us throughout dinner, ask if we needed to go cups(which servers rarely due) the icing on the cake was he even brought us a few extra biscuits to go for our to go plate lol since he notice we loved the biscuits . People are willing very quickly to give bad reviews well for once this is a good review, not only did he make us want to return. We decided to dine at this location and walked right in and was seated right away. The server was very nice. She took our order and came right back with our drinks and biscuits. Finally after about a 45 minute wait we get our food and it's cold. I ordered the Salmon New Orleans with brocolli. The plate was warm but both the shrimp and brocolli were cold. I sent my plate back and then not 5, but 20 minutes later I'm presented with the same plate, except this time the shrimp and broccoli are both well over heated. My issue with this is that when a plate goes back to the kitchen, reheating should not be an option. Secondly, food tampering is real, so you would think that they would have prepared a fresh plate just to be on the safe side. And lastly, where is the customer service in any of this. I went with my girlfriend for dinner. The food was as expected. It came out tasty, hot, and on time. Our waiter Martin was incredible . He was incredibly professional, and attentive. We never had to ask him once for anything; he brought us refills, boxes, a bag, to-go drinks + biscuits, and the check without so much as a word from me besides thank you. Biscuits were so warm and moist too, with a lot of flavor. Salad was fresh with plenty of croutons. I ordered the ultimate feast, everything was very good, especially the shrimp scampi.. So, I had never been to a Red Lobster, and after hearing about the cheddar bay biscuits for years and years, I decided it was time. I'll wait another 28 years before going back. They've got an amazing food photographer on hand as everything on the menu looks delectable. Sadly, it doesn't deliver. Everything was salty and otherwise bland. I could have been eating lobster, or it could have been chicken. Who knows. The famous biscuits, while warm and flavorful and comforting, were nothing overly amazing. Certainly not worth the price of having an entire meal here, which, by the way, is far too high for the quality you get. A group did so I had to follow them. Oh well. First of all, I would like to commend the staff. They were awesome and sweet taking care of our big group. They did their job efficiently and everything seemed to run smoothly. I ordered the Sailor's Platter. It came with hand breaded fried shrimp, garlic shrimp scampi, and a broiled fish fillet. I ordered green beans as my side. The food wasn't bad. I liked the strong garlic flavor of the shrimp scampi. Also, the breaded fried shrimp didn't taste bad either. The green beans tasted a little bland, but it was cooked well. The fish tasted good too. Overall, I had a satisfying meal here. What about their famous cheese rolls? They're overrated. The staff was great and very attentive. The food was good and served quite quickly given such a large group. There was not too much difficulty separating the checks. This place has gone down hill for a long time. I visited here a few years ago and had fish and chip and it was so greasy. Everything is so greasy here. The cheese bread is also greasy so you can only eat one. After you are finished with the meal I get nauseated because all the grease I eaten. I never liked red lobster because it's expensive for greasy inedible food but my friend wanted to go there. We went there around 12:30 (prime lunch hour) but place was almost empty. I saw only a few tables. The hostess wasn't rude but not friendly either. She tried to sit us next to the table with 4 people when there are so many open tables in a same section. I told her I wanted to sit away from them and pointed out to the table on the other side, she said that section was closed so I told them I wanted to sit in the far back. Keep in mind, we are still practicing social distance and this restaurant t has no social distance in place. They tried to pack everyone in a same location close to other occupied tables. Not good. I ordered fried shrimp. The shrimp is a good sized and the amount they give u is sufficient but the breading is not good. I only eaten 3 shrimp and asked for a to go box. I don't know why I keep punishing myself by coming here. I should have suggested the juicy crabs. read more
