Love this location! We had a little bit of a late dinner, we arrived at 9:30pm on a Monday and we were greeted by one of the hostesses with a smile. She sat us down quickly and shortly after the server came and took our drink orders. He explained the specials on the menu and gave us some recommendations. He brought out our drinks, and he brought out the delicious cheddar biscuits as well. We put in our order- I had the Ultimate Feast, my boyfriend had the Dueling Lobsters. Best decision ever! The ultimate feast brings a little bit of everything AND you might even have some left over to take home! I will definitely be coming back to this location. I want to start this off with saying our waiter was amazing. What was not amazing was our experience. The restaurant is unclean. The booth we were in had what seemed to be butter on the seats. When the plates that come out with the rolls came they had food stuck to them (yuck!). Our silverware was dirty as well. We spent well over $200 on our meals and our filets came out extremely well done and tough (we ordered medium rare). The maine lobster tail was cold and tough, salad was warm, biscuits were dry, mussels were dry and cold, and chocolate cake was hard. When a manager came out, our concerns seemed to be invalidated with excuses. I spend a lot of money at red lobster and wanted to try the Kendall location based off of verbal recommendation, but I will stick with the north miami location. If it would have been my first time ever to this Red Lobster, I would have given it five stars. But I'm basing this review on my overall experience . I've been to this particular location more than 10 times. I can definitely say that the it all depends on the server's attitude. When the server knows the menu and can make recommendations based on what I want rather than what the restaurant is pushing on customers, I know I have a skilled server. This particular time, I asked the server about a Sangria or a Mojito. She said she really likes the sangria. Then I asked, white or red. She described the red sangria so well and when I sipped it, it was just like she said. The bad thing is that it was really hot in the restaurant. Supposedly they have to keep the indoor door open but whenever people enter from the first door, the heat enters. It makes eating uncomfortable. I enjoy going there when there are specials that really satisfy all of us seafood lovers. This past week was crab festival. Let me tell you, we had enough crab to take home as left overs. As for the wheelchair access, the only peeve I have is that I have caught the servers in the accessible stall taking their time to change into their uniform. These stalls are big for a reason. This Red Lobster location needs a lot of help and staff. My family and I went in for dinner just now after a movie. We were welcomed in and immediately sat. I went to the restroom to wash my hands and that should have been a sign to get out an leave. There were two dirty stalls with toilet paper and #2. The sink area had the soap dispenser broken and paper towel dispenser also broken. We ordered our food and the lobster bisque had a fly in it and my daughter's shrimp cocktail had a hair in it. Empty tables had been left with dirty dishes which I am sure doesn't help the fly situation. Mom ended up being grossed out and canceled her meal (her soup had the fly issue). No Mozzarella Sticks, No mac and cheese, no popcorn shrimp, no bacon, no cheesecake available. Server was kind but felt terrible for him as it seems this wasn't his first issue of the day. read more

The other day came to the establishment and had a take out...it was shrimp pasta and side salad,, Why do these restaurants think If they put the heavy cream and butter along with the meal,,all of the sudden the meal is edible?? After two bite I gave the rest to my neighbor dog and not to mention the stomach ach from it and the salad is laughable because it was two leaf of romaine lettuce and 3 pieces of croutons......that's a shame.....waste of $20.00..... Why hello Red Lobster! Surprised to see how much you've changed! I'll be honest, my expectations were low. I tried to steer my parents away but thankfully the ignored my opinion (not unusual) and off we went. The wait was about 15-20 on a Friday night around 7pm and the place looks so nice! Dim lighting, wood all over and a friendly staff to boot! Biscuits were orgasmic. The appetizer Shrimp Nachos sounds gross right? So good! I ordered the Lobster-Crab Linguine which was so rich and creamy...pasta heaven. My mom ordered the Shrimp Linguine and wasn't complaining. My father ordered the Flounder and his mashed potatoes were so delish! Our waitress was so attentive it was ridiculous. Looks like this chain-restuarant pleasantly surprised me! Out with the old, in with the new!!!! Hooray! Red Lobster finally gets it right! I just came back from having dinner there and I could not wait to Yelp it. My boyfriend and I were craving seafood. And not just BS shrimp...I mean Lobster and Crab. I ordered the biggest lobster they had (3lbs.). Our server let me choose which one I wanted from the tank (I obviously chose the biggest one). AMAZING!!! Cooked to perfection with a baked potato on the side. My boyfriend got the "ultimate feast" which was also delicious. Everything came out hot and and on time. The biscuits, as always, were amazing. The server (Chris R.) was awesome. He chatted up with the boyfriend regarding football and gave me a five-minute lobster-cracking course once it was cooked. Now, I will be an expert for next time. He was super on top of his game. To top it off, when he gave us the bill he gave us his Red Lobster business card! LOL. I chuckled but it was nice of him. The ambiance? Well, it definitely lacks something to be desired. It is a chain restaurant after all. The wait? 30 minutes :( The parking? Always packed...but plenty of parking all the way at the back of the restaurant. Red lobster is one those restaurants that I enjoy coming to with family and on dates with my boyfriend. Between the people that work here from the hostess and servers I wouldn't go to any other location but to the one I check in at. Tonight, the place was pleasant it was one of those nights where it wasn't so busy and you can focus on your thoughts and talking to your loved ones. Although, I've worked for a darden restaurant I still manage enjoy coming to this specific darden restaurant for seafood and for the simple comfort. Also, I love the seaside shrimp trio it is must to order if you simply enjoy everything with shrimp. It is jaw dropping watery everything from it being fried, garlic shrimp scampi, and the shrimp linguini Alfredo! I am a fan of shrimp and even tho I can have it better somewhere else I wouldn't imagine going anywhere but this restaurant! I don't know how this is allowed in a restaurant. My wife did not eat, we did not leave and I ordered the lobster lovers dish. I will never ho back to any restaurant that permits long beard . I kept seeing commercials advertising lobsterfest so I decided to give it a try. The Heat game was on so my love and I decided to go sit by the bar. The first thing I noticed was how small the T.V.s are?!?! Why would anyone want to come to HH or watch any sports events with T.V.s that size?!?! FIX it PLEASE! The server at the bar was a sweetheart we asked her if we could watch the Heat game and she immediately changed it after we gave her the channel number. (No one knew the sports channels at the bar). For drinks we ordered two Shock Tops on draft not much of a selection if you like to try local breweries. At last, the cheddar biscuits arrived and our server took our order which were the dueling lobsters ($30 plate) and chicken tacos ($12 plate). Now I know what your thinking who orders chicken tacos at Red Lobster? My boo does that's what he was craving at the time. His plate included a side dish which he decided on their balsamic tomatoes with mozzarella. He was satisfied with his order. The dueling lobster plate needed a little love thou. I felt like they were smothered with sauce. I wasn't pleased with the taste or presentation of my food. I will tell you the service was very good. So, after getting our flu shots this AM we decided to have an early lunch. My youngest decided that he wanted Red Lobster since he likes their cheesy biscuits & Alfredo pasta. I wasn't happy with his pick, but the rest of the family was in agreement, so off we went to the Red Lobster. I am happy to say that I was pleasantly pleased with the food & service. In the past few weeks I have visited a couple other "cookie cutter" restaurants (Kendall Ale house & The Outback Steakhouse) and the service was very lacking. Tim and his teammates @RedLobster gave me a glimmer of hope that good service & good food are still available for a reasonable price. Although they were understaffed, all team members were assisting each other to service guests. Now this was not 5 star service, but it was definitely better than what I had received in the past few weeks. The food was good, maybe just a tad on the salty side for a few items, but definitely tasty. But as my better 1/2 pointed out the service is what stood out. So a thumbs up to the management & staff for having a "game plan" on how to take care of their guests! read more

So for Mother's Day my mom decided on getting Red Lobster for dinner, I was okay because shrimp is heaven. We ordered it and had to pick it up; why have "delivery" as an option if you can't deliver? It should be stated on your website or wherever it needs to be stated. Even looking on here it says that delivery is optional. I asked her and my sister to ask for extra cheddar bay biscuits because they're cheddar bay biscuits. It's like crack for the food world. They arrive home and to my dismay my sister informs me they didn't even give us cheddar bay biscuits. They also forgot to ask for extra(so not their fault,) on top of that the food was cold; I'm not gonna say ice cold but it wasn't even lukewarm. Such a disappointment because it's one of my favorite seafood places, we don't go often because it isn't the cheapest but we enjoy ourselves when we do go as a family. I ordered my dinner on line and when I picked it up I checked it because this is not the first time that when I get home my order is incomplete. They were missing my dessert and I told them and I got it. Unfortunately I did not check well because when I got home I was missing my salad. We went there to celebrate a double birthday and this Red LOBSTER HAD NO Lobsters !!! Even if they sold out, it is their responsibility to find local lobsters because how can there be none at a RED LOSBSTER. We called the Company and they responded by telling us a Director would phone us in 3 days. 2 weeks later and not a courtesy call. I really enjoyed the taste, texture and flavor of the Lobster Mac & Cheese. It exceeded my expectations. It was very creamy and the lobster tasted fresh. The service could have been a bit better as they ended up bringing my Mom's food out 15 minutes later than the rest of the family's food. The breads tasted delicious and were fresh out of the oven and brought out onto our table.
