Our first dinner Out of the Parks! This place finally deserve a good rating or we are just lucky to have Renee as our waitress for the night. Didn't really hit 5 stars due to the wait the front desk forgot our queue, it was super busy I guess. Food took a lot longer to arrive as well but Renee did check up on us regularly for our drinks. Also they didn't have enough regular size pound lobsters. That was a downfall but good experience with the server Food did take a while as the place was very swamp with people and line up out side was crazy!!! We ordered takeout while we were staying in a hotel. The clam chowder was really delicious. The pasta with a creamy sauce and crab was just OK. The sauce wasn't very rich and didn't have much flavor. Agh... this place made me sick. I was already sick from pneumonia on my trip to Florida, but this place made it worse. I had a bit of the flu and all the buttery, creamy, cheesy sauce made me want to puke. Everything was way too salty and rich. I like my cheese but there was way too much of it here. Just looking at the stuff drowned in cheese made me want to vomit. The service was nice, though. We had a really nice waiter who waved goodbye to us as we left the parking lot. My fiancée and I ate here tonight. It wasn't the first time we had been here since we moved to Orlando 2 years ago. The service was good. We had Val whom we have had as our server before. She is extremely nice and friendly and easy to talk to. There does seem to be a slight lack of a sense of urgency from time to time but as someone who also works in the service industry I can understand how one can feel somewhat drained and ready to head home at the end of a night and so I don't fault Val at all and would be happy to have her serve us again. She is a lovely individual. My fiancée and I split an appetizer combo of mozz sticks (her) and calamari (me) which came out perfect. I wouldn't have minded some cocktail sauce with the calamari but I also didn't ask for any so it is no big deal. For our meals, she ordered the swordfish grilled with broccoli and mashed potatoes while I ordered a new dish they are currently offering which is a lobster scampi pasta. Her sword DC is was done to perfection as we're her sides. My pasta was alright, but seemed to be overloaded with butter and garlic. There plenty of chunks of lobster but I'm afraid the taste of anything in the dish was lost in all the butter and garlic. Still, I ate it and I'm still alive without stomach pains so I can't complain too much. Overall we do enjoy this RL location and we will be back, I'm sure. read more

It's been years since I went to a red lobster and it was horrible then but I figured maybe a bad location or day and try again. Here are the reasons they get a 2. 8 people at the table and service was very slow! Our friend ordered and they came out 3 times saying why they couldn't make her meal. My wife ordered the shrimp skewers and i ordered the admirals plate because i wanted scallops. Admirals plate had clams, shrimp, flounder and scallops. Everything is fried, everything. The scallops were larger than a dime but smaller than a nickel and every time i used my fork to get one the oil would squirt out of it. The clams were gritty, and the founder was super thin and I tried to scrape off the breading to get something not fried breading and was so thin it was Haku worth it. I left 95% of the class on the plate and 70% of the flounder. I ate the shrimp and most of the scallops only after pressing the oil out of the scallops with my fork. This was a meal that should have been served at a Popeyes drive thru and not a restaurant. Come here only if you want to pay high prices for oily, grilled low quality sea food that will leave your stomach regretting the decision and your pocket book doing the same. Having grilled options or fresh quality seafood would be a nice change. I think the chain changing hands multiple times and now owned by a Thai company has lowered even my already low opinion of this resturaunt. read more

As the night neared an end, a lot of the servers got together and started gossiping about the customers that were there earlier. On March 11, 2022, my mom and I visited the Red Lobster location on International Dr. in Orlando, Fl. on March 11 with my mom. We both had literally just let the location off West Colonial, however we left because they didn't have any live lobsters because the waiter said the tank was broke. So when we arrived I asked our waitress Alexis did they still have the promo for the chef's lobster special for 1 1/4 pd. lobster special for $33.99 where she replied yes. I explained that we were there a week prior and that it was listed on a separate piece of paper and not on the menu promoting their specials. She said that she knew what I was referring to. She further stated that it was the same price and that if we wanted it, we didn't need to see the paper. However, once we were finished eating and received the bill I noticed she charged us $37.99 instead of $33.99 listed on the promo. Therefore we requested to physically see the paper with the promo. Now all of a sudden they were out of the papers and they wouldn't honor the price that was listed that she claimed they would prior to us ordering. Then Mgr. Kat came out and basically said that he couldn't honor the price claiming market value prices had increased in just one week and there's nothing that he could do. Even though we were just at their other location where the price was actually $31.99. To add insult to injury another guy named Cody came over to our table and basically tried to loud talk us and embarrass us in front of all the other customers with a card with corporate number after I explained to Kat that I didn't need the number and I had already located the number online. At that point, I felt as though they were being racist and tried to belittle and degrade both my mom and I in front of the rest of their customers. Because I couldn't honestly see them doing this to any other customers in the restaurant. Additionally, Kat walked passed my mom and I to greet other patrons on several occasions without saying a word to us. I felt after he noticed that we were looking at him, he finally decided to at least say hi. In addition, after I told them it was fine, they basically kept trying to insult us in front of other people by loud talking us, until my mom basically got up and walked out from being embarrassed. At that point, were extremely humiliated with what we thought would be an enjoyable experience, but turned out to be a nightmare. For reasons that, we had driven so far to come to that location, and it basically turned out to be an awful experience. With all that said, I ended up tipping our waitress 20%, because she was a good waitress other than giving us false information regarding pricing, plus we are business owners ourselves and we understand the importance of tipping when necessary. However the management there was awful with how they handled the overall situation. FYI, honestly at that point it really wasn't about the price, it was about the fact that they purposely tried to humiliate us in front of everyone else as if we were trying to get something for free. We merely wanted them to honor what they initially told to us, yet they refused and tried to embarrass us in the process. Very disgusting and awful practices. I asked if something had eggs in it (breading on fish) and the server reported back saying it did. He then handed me a black binder marked "allergies." In 8 point type it had every item menu listed with possible allergens marked yes or no. Okay, I'm old, my eyesight isn't great, and I'm not about to study a 50 page list of possible allergens when I'm sitting in a dimly lit restaurant.
