I ordered the mahi and broccoli they were out of both so I chose salmon and green beans. they weren't available either. I ended up with asparagus, It was overdone, and very difficult to even cut. Feb. 18th, Fight Day; Food was good when it finally came after an HOUR WAIT, and for the price there should have been a larger serving. Waitress was very grouchy and promptly short changed me because she said she "had no change", really it's a restaurant, not a flee market vendor. First, it seemed as though that our waiter had an attitude and any request was an imposition to him. He had given us two salad plates with our biscuits. When I ordered, I asked if a certain fish was beer battered ( I did not want beer battered fish) and this waiter explained that it was not. We waited for about 30 minutes when there was several open tables and there was no hostess to be seen after we got in and out our name down. If there was a zero star review, I would give it one 100%. The staff was completely unapproachable and underwhelming from the minute we walked in. Even with a full dining room on xmas eve our server Emory went above and beyond. He was very attentive whe our drinks were empty or when we had empty dishes. Lobster tail, shrimp, and the one crab leg out of three that I received that actually had any meat in it were all overcooked to the point of being inedible. The extra money I paid for the side of langostino potatoes turned out to be a scoop of mashed potatoes with three severely overcooked langostinos sitting on top. Husband had Bar Harbor lobster bake. The "garlic butter sauce" had a strange taste, almost like it was margarine. The mussels were cooked well, but again, everything else very overcooked. Could not peel the lobster tail out of the shell. Ugh, my experience with chain restaurants have always been bad. Red Lobster followed the pattern. The only thing worth raving about was their free Cheddar Bay Biscuits, which were crispy on the out side, fluffy on the inside. Perfect biscuit if there's such a thing. They were the only reason I gave this joint 2-stars instead of 1. The appetizer BBQ Bacon wrapped scallop was a rip-off. $10 for a skewer of three scallops. They were crappy scallops too. And the BBQ sauce tasted off, probably because of the bourbon in it. The Lobster Pizza was super salty and unflavored, Don't get it unless your taste buds are aged/dead. The Shrimp and Lobster Spaghetti was over salted and unflavored too, and the noodle's consistency was too hard for my liking. We were greeted pleasantly by our servers Sydney and Anwar and served our perfectly prepared portions of our delicious hot meals in good time. If it were just one item I could understand however this is a system failure at almost every level. The location was not busy at the time (around 6-7 pm). My wife, two children and I had sat down. Waiter comes and we ask to place drinks and apps. No soup available. Bread delivered (3 pieces for 4 people) First appetizer was a dipping sampler which side nacho. The nacho (plain) were stuck together in clumps of 10-15 nachos. Almost inedible. Kids orders placed. Out of Mac and cheese. Eldest child ordered chicken tenders. 2 tenders dropped of that had been baking in the SAHARA DESERT since the Cold War. They were so hard and dry my child politely begged not to be punished for not eating. Other child orders linguini of which the sauce had to be reverse magnetized to repel the sauce. Our Mains were the best part of the meal but the bar wasn't high there. Tiny dry and rubbery lobster and water logged crab. Bill 124 and albeit extremely disappointed had to tip waiter as ultimately only a small portion was his fault and tip was given. 145$ for a meal that goes down as the worst I can remember having in the recent future.
