The Alfredo is bland the salt and vinegar shrimp was not good they do give u ALOT of shrimp but not good shrimp so is it worth it? Red Lobster hit it out of the park. Not only was our order correct, the food was all amazing! My husband had some sort of salmon with shrimp, green beans, and the lobster mashed potatoes... he really enjoyed it and he's normally picky. I had the 7 oz steak with mashed potatoes and Caesar salad. The steak was cooked perfectly (medium rare as requested), had great flavor, and was very filling. I ordered a side of shrimp scampi as well. EVERYTHING and I do mean everything was cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and just tasted great. Our appetizers of mushrooms and mussels was also amazing. The mussels were cooked perfectly, not over cooked, and there was so much flavor. Definitely think they were my favorite mussels I've eaten from any place, which says a lot. Whoever was cooking on 7-3-21 knows what they're doing. Anyhow, this was our first time eating at Red Lobster here and we were not disappointed at all. The moment I seen that I knew we were in trouble, unfortunately these type of restaurants will choose greed over quality and it shows. Customers are more willing to pay more money if the product is quality, however I've seen many restaurants ultimately close due to this type of management. A line was drawn on the back but it wasn't close to cracked. The garlic cheese biscuits were awesome, hot and plentiful. Our server was pleasant but not very confident about creating a great experience. Opportunity lost. When we complained about the drinks the response was an apology. Lobster was under cooked, clam strips were over cooked, stuffed mushrooms were soggy and snow crab tasted horrific. We could not even finish our meals. We came here last night 1/25 around 6:30pm. We had a party of 6. As we walked in, the hostess ( Latina- looking girl) didn't say one word to us. No eye contact, no greeting , nothing. I'm not sure why we were ignored by her. I thought that was a bit off, so we just stood there. In all fairness, If you've taken time to read reviews of consumers, often poor reviews are left for no legitimate reason. For instance, one so called "elite reviewer" disparaged a poor mom and pop with the following; "oh, they didn't have Pepsi products so, "ding" I give this place one star." I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I've been here a few times before but today they over did themselves. I came for a birthday party and they were so accommodating to us. They basically gave us our own section of the spot (maybe because mom and her friends are so loud?? ) Our drinks were total crap. And when we shared with our waitress they were replaced no problem!
