I am very sad and anger about my time here! The food was great yes but no butter on my lobster. And when I asked my waiter for more she rolled her eyes and told me "wait I have other family's" I never gotten my butter and my husband was very anger because he couldn't eat garlic and they said that wasnt a problem but then we found garlic and he couldn't eat! Went fo the Zanesville Ohio Red Lobster for a quiet dinner and our sever was off the hook! I dont remember his name he was super tall male with gray hair. In the middle of our dinner he came to our table and started talking to us about what we did today etc. he was asking my husband a million and one questions and all we wanted to do was eat our meal in peace. The conversation got a little heated as our serve brought up politics...not a good choice for conversation. My husband was so mad he didn't even finish his meal. This is a difficult review to sum up this location. I am not a big seafood fan and never been to Red Lobster...ever but I have been to two high end seafood restaurants that have amazed me. Since my workplace gifted employees with gift cards to a handful of restaurants, this is one of two only places within 30 minutes of me whereas the others are 90-to-120-minute drive. I decided to give this a try. This location has respectful servers and cooks. Very clean and the ambiance is pleasant. Food was prepared fresh so it took awhile. Ordered salmon, filet mignon, loaded baked potato and crispy green beans with vanilla bean cheesecake with white chocolate shavings. Salmon was alright. It may have been the sauce or seasoning but I wasn't crazy about it, but I know others would like it. The crispy green beans surprised me and was almost potato fry like but not something I would eat all the time, definitely ate half of the green beans but then wasn't into it anymore. The baked potato didn't list sour cream as one of the ingredients so I was a little disappointed since I am not a fan of sour cream, but it was still ok. The vanilla bean cheesecake is phenomenal, and I really enjoyed it. The problem was the filet mignon. The first looked like, smelled and tasted like a sirloin. Cook swore it was filet mignon but did exchange it for another. The second filet looked like it should, but it still tasted like sirloin even at medium well. It didn't satisfy and they put some sort of garlic or gravy like seasoning on it that I am not a fan of. Wasted $60+ of gift cards on this experience. The people were great and handled the situation fine but I was disappointed in the steak and I am glad I didn't buy the burger since I am very picky with burgers. Worst Red Lobster I've ever been in. I travel all over the USA and by far my worst experience at restaurant in recent memory. Service was slow, waitress was forgetful and the food was horrendous. Starting my stuffed mushrooms were watery and barely warm. Salad had big pieces of stem in it and was not cold room temp and wilted. Cheddar bay biscuits cold and hard ( I'd did get two fresh one with my entree) My dinner entree was over cooked the shrimp were rubber. I know Red Lobster isn't fine dinning but the little things add up. Like seating a single adult diner next to a table of 7. Five of them noisy poorly behaved kids. They're pricey. The food is delicious and the staff is very pleasant. the interior is clean and nice, ample parking and the outside is clean as well. The temperature inside is a little cold but nothing too terrible. Overall a nice experience, but again it's a tad on the expensive side. {12/28/27 Update} The new menu is a lot easier to get to what you're looking for. I highly recommend the Dragon Broccoli if you're into an in-expensive spicy appetizer. Also, the peach tea is great too. Staff is always pleasant. read more

this Red lobster located in Zanesville Ohio is in a very centralized area for tourists and people from out of town.. it's also extremely big with the locals. it's it's right there off of the main drag where there is a very nice Quality Inn and a Holiday Inn Express within easy walking distance.. upon arriving at the end of October final Sunday there wasn't much of a wait we were offered to be seated immediately our party of four. however we asked for a booth but what the hostess didn't realize was that the we wanted the larger booth for more room and she kind of got a little snippy as she took the menu and kinda tossed it onto the table wasn't very classy on her part..... but it was more of an oversight it is what it is for the area sometimes people are just working for that paycheck we all know how that goes. the restaurant itself is quite clean it's a smaller Red lobster compared to the ones up in the Chicago area I usually dine at back at the hone 20..but you could definitely tell there was a good crowd going we were greeted by our waitress she took our drink order and everything was really good... I opted for a Michelob Ultra my favorite too often and not have any alcohol choices and one decided to have a pina colada.. my beer was fine hey it's beer LOL.. the Pina colada though it seems like they kind of skipped on the booze just a little bit but it was okay.. before meals that were ordered my usual the ultimate feast. there was a Shrimp Fest meal ordered a standard shrimp dinner and I believe it was a walts feast or something like that was the final. they brought out the salads and soups the one who like the clam chowder enjoyed it immensely he had a big bowl of it. I had my usual Caesar salad..we were served in a timely manner the quality of the food was excellent tasted fine the hot stuff was hot. the cheddar bay biscuits were liked by many in fact we have an extra order of those for free which was fine very nice.. all in all this is a very good Red lobster today other than the small little oversight at the beginning everything came out really really good and it was very enjoyable..value for what it was was perfectly fine it's standard 3099 for the feasts that's a good price.. if I happen to be in the area again I would not hesitate to stop at this Red lobster again if I really wanted it. Red Lobster is my favorite chain restaurant. Good food, the service is usually really friendly and fast, and they are HEAVY HANDED with the alcohol in the mixed drinks! I dislike the extremely dim lighting that all RL's do, and this one is no different. It feels like bedtime, or like i'm in a library and I should be whispering. And their booths are really big, I feel like I'm being swallowed up. But once the food arrives (and the cheesy biscuits, yum) I tend to forget all that! read more

My husband and I had dinner here after a long (unsuccessful) day of hunting. It was a Saturday evening in January and we were staying at a hotel nearby. We were told that the wait for seating would be 25 minutes... it was a 15-minute wait and we were thrilled. We sadly waited 20 minutes for a server after we were at our table (we watched servers attend to many tables that were seated AFTER we were). When our waiter came over to us we ordered a spicy Bloody Mary and a Mojito. The waiter informed me that the bar "may not have the necessary ingredients to make a Mojito." What the heck is in a Mojito that is so sought-after??? Ummm... limes. The restaurant was out of limes at 7 PM on a Saturday night. So I ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc - a 9-ounce pour (which is a whole different issue). We ordered Ultimate Feasts - my hubby added broiled scallops to his entree. We were in luck! The chef had to make fresh crab legs - it was succulent and moist! My husband LOVED his drink and his dinner - so did I! Our waiter came back to the table (after I had drank my first glass of wine) and informed me that the bar keep had run across the parking lot to borrow limes from Olive Garden so that they could make me a Mojito. I'm not the type of drinker that switches in mid-stream so I declined. What a thoughtful gesture on the part of the resaurant though. My husband owns property in Zanesville so we plan to patronize this Red Lobster quite often - we'll definitely be back. read more

I had grilled scallops, shrimp linguine, and another shrimp dish that I can't remember. LOL. Everything was really good. And of course the biscuits are incredible. We frequently ate at the one in Columbus, But since we moved was thinking as a franchise this one would be the same. Well it was not. I was glad to see they added somethings back on the menu so we ordered the scallops. On the menu it showed them being with a fresh salad. When we received them it was only the scallops I showed the waitress she said oh we don't have that. Before ordering I ordered a appetizer that never showed up. This has been one of the worst food experiences at this location. We have gave this location several attempts at trying to provide good & tasty food but the only thing this location has provided us is nasty food & an expensive bill. I should not have to ask three times for my steak to be cooked properly. Although waiter was polite, you could tell he was annoyed and wanted to rush us through this nasty meal. I am extremely annoyed that I had to pay $24 for a steak that I have to go home and recook. We would rather travel out of town for a red lobster with better food. read more

This is the second time I've received very poor service at this location. I ordered 3 entrees and one appetizer, to go. They had 45 minutes to prepare the food. I must say, it was NOT busy when I arrived. I waited patiently, paid for my food, tipped the restaurant, and left. Drove 8 miles home. Opened the bag, and one entire entree was missing. I called the restaurant, and they were aware that one entree was missing before I even told them. The manager said he could send me a gift certificate or I could come back and pick it up. So, I drove all the way back and got my entree, also found out that one of my daughter's sides was missing. The manager apologized and offered me a $10.00 gift card. Really? What the hell can you get a Red Lobster for ten bucks? Yeah, don't hold your breath for me to redeem it. I won't be coming back anytime soon. I expect to double check my order in McDonald's drive-thru, but not Red Lobster. Lousy lousy customer service. read more

We are at this restaurant over the weekend. We went in because there were no cars in the parking lot. We thought we'd be able to get in and out due to not being crowded. Boy were we wrong!! Our waiter who had no other tables at the time was so slow. He barked at us that "he was busy" when we tried to get his attention to get our to go containers. We never got refills on our drinks, he left our dirty dishes on the end of our table. Another waiter had to track him down when he got another table sat in his section. Those people were promptly served by him and there we were trying to get what we ordered. Talked to manager about it who comped our meal who told us that our server had been employed by the company for almost 20 years. I could see this happening if it was a new hire but a server with this many years. Needless to say our daughter was late for work in Columbus. Food was delicious but it just took way too long to get it. He kept telling that they were out of biscuits and they were baking new ones. It was funny that every server was being out baskets full of biscuits but ours were in the oven. It will be a long time before we can go back to red lobster. Even though we look forward to Red Lobster for the garlic cheese biscuits (who doesn't, right) the service here was beyond extraordinary. The server gladly changed my order after going to the kitchen, was incredibly patient & cordial to our 6 & 2 year olds, and didn't pain when we all vanished to the restrooms with both kids. The food was just alright. Our family had several different items ranging from shrimp & fish to mac and cheese. The shrimp and fish were just okay nothing we couldn't have gotten at any greasy fast food chain. My kids like the mac since it is just instant out of the box kind of stuff. Mashed potatoes had a hard outer like they sat for a long time and baked potatoes were the same, overcooked with the skin hard. Even though the food wasn't worth the price the service made up for it. Our server was phenomenal. She was very nice and smiled a lot which was a very welcome change from every other person we have encountered in this town. Our youngest is "special needs" (not visible just from looking) and she waited for him to get out all his words with no hurrying or interrupting. She kept drinks full, was polite and not pushy, even sent us off with a bag of biscuits. The lighting is very dim which was great for us. Bright lights are not good for our child and the dim lighting let us have a peaceful dinner. The kids enjoyed watching the lobster tank at the entry way. All the servers we encountered on the way out smiled and said enjoy our weekend. We would for sure go back just because the service was great. read more
