I then asked if our appointment was written in their schedule book to confirm that they had written it down when I called. She confirmed that we had an appointment but somehow she didn't save 2 technicians for us at our scheduled time?? We were asked to wait 30 minutes without any apology for their error. Ridiculous. I've tried so many different nail salons in town and this is the only one I keep going back to. I lucked out and got Trish the first time and since I loved her work, i continue to go back to only her. This is the longest I've maintained my gel manicure since I usually stop going after I get discouraged from a bad job, but after many months, I'm still going back. I haven't tried anyone else other than Trish, but they are all always busy with repeat customers. The salon is clean, nicely decorated, has good massage chairs and offers water. Color selection for gel polish is fine for me, but I know some others have complained that they don't have the best selection. I have been coming here for 8 years. I only continue because I love my nail tech Lee. She deserves 10 stars!!!! She does an amazing gel manicure and pedicure. She is hardworking and very knowledgeable. This salon was recently renovated and is very pretty but the quality of products is terrible. Red Rock Nails does not or provide any current colors or options. All of the polishes are old and the gel selection is from years ago. For these reasons I sadly give one star. WOW, the best pedicure ever! Once you come here, you will never go to another nail salon again. I was super impresses with the cleanliness at this salon (they make the average and nice salons look like germ city), the tools are taken out of a sealed bag in front of each customer, they have a full time person just to clean and sterilize. My feet were in serious need of love and DONNA is the best, she really put her time into making sure I am sandal ready. In addition to being super sweet she was very thorough and spent an hour on my feet and woked out every callus. I highly recommend dumping your current salon and running to Red Rock nails - I'm sure everyone is great but I can definitely recommend Donna she will leave you princess ready. read more

I went to this place twice and both times I was very disappointed especially since the place is expensive. The first time I went there they wanted to charge me $75 just for my little girl to get her nails done. My daughter is 8 and wanted a unicorn shimmery color and they said they have that in sapphire gel polish only and wanted to do gel on her. I said no just do regular polish and the tech did a fast job on her and the color came off the few days later. I still came back to this place to get last minute nails done!!! I normally get hard gel with my nail tech who I've been seeing for 4 years, but she was so busy for vday That's why I came here. I wanted longer nails so I said let me do a regular acyrlic nails... this nail tech lady was so bad at what she does.. she chose nails way bigger then my nail bed and when I told her she said no it's fine she'll fix them with filing them down and my nail bed is was "too small it's not normal" I'm like I've never heard that I always get compliments on my nails everywhere I go. I shit you not, I walked out of there in disbelief how my naturally beautiful nails can look so deformed. Never in my 15 years of getting my nails done have I been so disappointed! My nails turned out great and the guy was very attentive. I also didn't have to wait. My only issue really is the price. I mean, really... it's on another level. I knew the prices were going to be high, I mean, hello, I'm a yelper, I read the reviews. :) But I wasn't prepared for it to be 50 dollars for a gel manicure...!? I'm sure they charge so much because they think they can considering they're in Summerlin. Well, while they're certainly within their rights to do that, I'm also within my rights to think less of them because they do that. I understand charging a bit more considering the area they're in... but to charge SIGNIFICANTLY more is ridiculous. Really, 50 dollars for ONE gel manicure? We walked in and they were very busy, but the owner said she could fit us in for pedicures if we came back in 30 minutes. We didn't have an appointment and didn't mind waiting. When we came back, she took us right in and even made sure we got to sit next to each other. Kim and Michelle were very good and nice to chat to. She wasnt nice, all she did was answer calls while doing my nails she had to stand up and leave me and make me wait and she ruined the polish and blamed it on me. I love red rock nails. The techs are all quality, and the facility is clean and cute. They have a huge variety of color options, and usually can squeeze you in without an appointment. They're super friendly and try to accommodate as much as possible. The only reason I didn't do 5 stars is some of the techs can't do crazy cool designs. I feel fortunate in that I was seated right away after popping in on a whim this morning. It was 10 am and the place was already pretty full. My nail tech, Kim, was very efficient; total time for my (non gel) pedicure from start to finish was about 40 minutes. Overrated and overpriced for what you get. Clean and friendly, yes. Experience and results worth the cost, no. I had the Raw Earth pedi for 60...total rip off. Its nothing but a few extra chinsy lotions and scrub. Its cramped and noisy, very hard to relax for an expensive pedi. The A/C was on full blast and both doors were open causing a draft, it was only 75 outside....so very uncomfortable. Was there for 2 !/2 hrs for a delux mani and pedi...i should have known better when the menu was handed in a 99cent poto album. This nail salon was such a disappointment. Went here with my daughters prior to the wedding of one of them. We had an appointment for the 3 of us to get mani/pedis. I haven't experienced rudeness like this in a long time! It started with arguing at the front desk over who would do which person--hard gel verses regular gel manicure invoked an all out yelling between two of the employees. My daughters were laughing(nervous laughter) the entire time we were there. The receptionist was just going off on the other employees. Hint to them: just because you aren't speaking English doesn't mean we can't figure out what is going on. So my girl stomped( literaly stomped me to my chair). I guess she lost the argument over who does who. Not 1 word was said to me the 2 hours I was there. The lady next to me was having 1 nail fixed and the employee and her got into it over something related to how she was doing the repair. When the lady turned her head the employee rolled her eyes and said something in her language and the employees all laughed and looked at this client. It was very obvious they were talking about her. I could go on, because there is more! But it's too long. I was so appalled at their attitudes toward their customers!! Get a new job you miserable people. You obviously hate this one! Friendly, very clean and lots of color choices. Had a pedicure with Miley and she did a great job and did not skimp on the services or products. I upgraded to callus removal and got the spoil me rotten pedicure which included a leg mask and generous foot and leg massage. Since I just moved to Vegas in Sept, I have tried a few nail prices and noticed that the prices are a lot higher here than in FL and the quality work has not been as good. I tried Red Rock Nails and FINALLY found a clean place that does really good nails! I enjoyed my pedicure and gel nails came out great. Prices are on the higher side but comparable to the rest of the Vegas area but with friendlier staff and quality work. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I went for a gel manicure, and they did not cut my cuticles at all. In addition, he got polish all over my cuticles. They two coats of gel he did were so thin I could see my actual nails through the polish at certain spots, not to mention he completely missed the corner of one of my nails. Right as I was about to leave I realized how horrible they looked and went back and asked for another coat and to get the gel polish off of my cuticles. Even after he "fixed" them they still look horrible and I have spent the past 10 min trying to pick gel polish out of my cuticles. The initial impression you get when you walk in and you are greeted is pleasant, but the actual service is a joke. I have been going to the same lady for my manicures and pedicures for eight years. She recently retired which is why I tried this place. I had to tell the lady that did my service to file my toenails. Is that not a basic part of a pedicure? She didn't even take off any cuticle skin. She just poked around pretending she was doing her job and then charged me $65.00. The manicure was a bit fast however I bite my nails and cuticles and she cleaned them up real nice. The price for a pedi/mani was $40 which is a reasonable price for this area. This was in no way a relaxing or enjoyable experience. My shellac nails began to peel immediately after the manicure. The lady doing my nails was friendly but very unprofessional, she was on the phone with a personal call for a good while, did not ask what shape I wanted my nails, she added too many coats, my nails were still tacky. As mentioned before, they started peeling right after. I had to take them off at home. (If this had been an important manicure, for example; for a wedding. I would have had a huge hassle) Money and time wasted. I do not think there should even be a chance for this many things to go wrong with a nail service. I highly advice against this salon.
