Things like cheese and add-ons can run up the burger a bit, but there always seems to be an automatic charge for cheese (either $1 or $2 up-charge) which I do not order. That is why I say I usually don't get the full advertised discount. Aside from that, there is wide variation in how the meat is cooked. "Medium" one night can be "Medium rare" or "Well-done" depending on the person on the grill. You best not order it "Well-done" unless you want to risk it being dry and crispy. The tacos are always excellent. Grilled or fried, either way is a diner's delight. The sauce has a nice burn without being too spicy. The two-taco meal may be enough for most diners with the three-taco portion being quite enough to satisfy. As far as putting Memories Charcoal House on my dining list, I will continue to patronize the establishment for its friendly atmosphere, cordial staff and wide variety of menu items.
