    Lobster Crab Cake

Service was great and food is good but just not quite good enough to get five stars at this price point of a restaurant. A filet Oscar style came out with little flavor and over cooked. The swordfish portion was generous and it was cooked perfectly. Lobster escargot and lobster crab cake were good but it's hard to mess those up. We come here periodically and will return.

Valet parking on a snowy night is always nice. We walked in without a reservation and the hostess was a little frosty about that. Table for 2 was no issue as we were there before 6pm. There is an early evening special that includes a soup or salad, and the Caesar salad was truly fabulous. The croutons were house made and still warm from the oven. Bread and butter appetizer was over the top with pink salt and rosemary. Wine specials were well suited and the Chardonnay I chose was buttery and smooth. I let the server pick between the filet and chicken Milanese and ended up with the chicken. Lots of rich flavors going on and the side of mushrooms served in a cast iron pan made them stay hot and tasty through the meal. The capstone was dessert. The "Brookie" topped with salted caramel ice cream was a home run. Cookie, brownie, ice cream all mixed under shaved chocolate. We were seated in the patio area with a roaring fire and plenty of overhead heat. The large round chandelier was a nice touch in this rustic spot that seemed to bring home a cozy vibe. We will be back for sure!

Still a favorite with excellent service by Victoria. She knew the ingredients in describing the dishes. She knew what was in the drinks. The manager gave the five of us a good table in the middle of the floor. Specials sounded delicious. Although ML is a steakhouse, the seafood and fish dishes are excellent. Happy hour was going on in the bar area. Valet service was welcomed on this cold evening.

Celebrating birthdays are always a good time. Great food and service just make the experience exceptional! Had a reservation and we were not immediately seated which wasn't the end of the world. It was a busy Saturday night. The manager kept us abreast on the timing and how long it would be. Kept touching base and then made us aware when we were up. He thanked us for our patience and said he had something for the table to show his appreciation. Well from start to finish our meal was delicious. The lobster appetizer and the croutons on the Caesar salad were the most flavorful bites of the night. The peppers were a little spicy which I liked but not so much everyone else. My crab cake was yum with lots of extra crab. Sides were perfect and the steak melts in your mouth.

That part on the left is not chewed, that's how it fell out of the middle of the steak.

We ordered from ML for a quick at home date night. We picked up within 5 minutes of the time on the order and the food was still hot/warm when we sat down to eat. I expected to get my steak craving satisfied but instead was left unable to finish. We ordered two of the 7oz filets, medium rare, with the standard butter. Both had portions (almost all of one, about half of the other) of meat inside that was disgustingly paste like. It fell out of the steak and had the consistency of pate or pre-chewed meat. Honestly almost gagged and had to spit it out. Not sure how this was cooked or what quality of steak it was to start, but we are never eating here again. How do you fail at the one thing a steak house should easily master? The only reason this isn't 1 star is I have no idea how the staff is since it was a to-go order. Hopefully they are not

Nice place that was very crowded when we arrived. It as a brisk cold evening and they offered to sit us right in front of the entrance. A person in our party appealed to the manager and he moved us a table a little farther away. I left my coat on for most of our stay as it was very cold. I understand piling people in, but no one should be seated in front of or very close to a constantly opened door during cold days. Our server was personable and knowledgeable about specials and the menu. Each of us chose steaks: 2 NY strips and one ribeye. Each steak was cooked exactly to order and crafted great. We shared a side of mushrooms that were excellent and full of flavor. I also tried the carrot-ginger soup and it was also very good. We didn't get dessert as we polished off all of our delicious steaks. Drinks we're draft beer and water. A first class restaurant in food and service, but I'm not sure I'd return given the seating issues.

Had 9:15 reservations on Valentines Day. Unfortunately, they were out of garlic mash when we arrived and the server Adonis said we came late! I was not expecting that response as they had reservations up until 9:45. My delmonico potatoes were really dry and only had a little cheese on them. The manager did try and accommodate me by redoing them but it was still just ok. Randy was very nice and funny give her a raise because she may be the only reason why I return. The ambiance was nice but unfortunately I did not like our experience.

Awesome place! Food was amazing. And the waitress was even better. A little pricey, but worth it. I will definitely e coming back.

Our food was delicious. The service is always pleasant, welcoming and professional, we like to sit at the bar for that reason. It's a a good date vibe. Little pricey. $$$ but worth the splurge. I would like to see unique vegetarian options on the menu. I can only eat so many potatoes. Lol I would definitely recommend.

The food was overall, very bland. It was expertly prepared, fresh, and beautiful. But the taste was quite boring. Be prepared to eat a second dinner when you get home. Also be prepared to sit at the bar- this place is very tiny. The vibe is nice. Low ceiling, dimly lit, comfortable cozy. The server/ bartender (I'm pretty sure she was running the whole place) Nikki, was phenomenal. So friendly, good drinks. We started with the oysters which were good. The mignonette sauce was a little different, it had lemon zest in it. It was very good! But the give you laughable amount. Like, a splash. Then we had the fig and prosciutto toast. This was the highlight for us. Tasty all the way around, 4 generous servings on the plate. Jam was so good and the prosciutto was warmed up ever so slightly. I had the hangar steak with some unseasoned boiled carrots. The steak was tender and high quality, but I couldn't taste a bit of seasoning. Also served with a tiny crispy potato pancake. Husband had the halibut special. This had some wasabi crust and if you got a bite of the wasabi it was good. The bites that weren't crusted were boring fish. Again, very fresh and prepared well. Black rice and asparagus also boring. I got a hint of lemon on one bite I tried. We also had the Brussels sprouts, which were charred along with the few pork belly pieces. Husband finished with a whiskey crème brûlée which he enjoyed. He did not, however, enjoy his Dark and Stormy. He said it was all booze and no beer or mix. Sadly, we won't be back.

Since we were hungry, we followed another yelper's advice of getting an appetizer since we were warned the mains can take 30-40 minutes. Ordered the cracklin wings--got the ghost pepper dry rub which was recommended by the staff who also reassured me that it wasn't too spicy given that it was also sweet and came with ranch. Tasted great, super crispy on the outside, chicken not the most juicy but still tender. 4/5. Also ordered the truffle orcchiette, pork chop, and heirloom carrots. The truffle orcchiette had a great al dente texture but surprisingly compared to the other yelper reviews, was saltier than expected. 4/5 Favorites were definitely the pork chop and heirloom carrots. The pork chop came without the bone, already chopped up, and was the he most tender pork chop I've had. 5/5 The carrots were so well seasoned, with a great charred taste and came with an addicting puree. 5/5 Service was fantastic, with great recommendations. While the birthday guest was away from the table, I did sneakily ask if they do anything for birthdays, and the staff said that they do a scoop of ice cream. Since the sticky toffee pudding already came with a scoop of ice cream, they were considerate to do 2 cookies instead--the cookies weren't too sweet and reminded me of brownie batter. Sticky toffee pudding was good. 4/5 Restaurant is located in Pinecrest so parking available as free parking in a garage about a block away or as pay by mobile street parking. Ambience is great, perfect for a nice meal for a date or hangout. Overall a great place to celebrate a special occasion due to all the good food choices and staff who know how to treat birthday guests well.

I told him I would arrive within 40 mins and he said to just walk-in. The website says this is fine dining so for someone to answer the phone and discourage reservations was skeptical. When we arrived we were told since we didn't have reservations we had to sit outdoors. Now the forecast said rain in 10mins. So we told the lady at the desk that I spoke to the man that also at the door about reservations. She said no problem we waited about 10 minutes and we were seated. Our waitress Abby was amazing! I wanted a wellness drink and they were all out but she suggested other mocktail options. She then asked if we wanted tap water or sparkling bottle water. I was confused that they don't have filtered water. We got the tap and it smelled like sewer. We then asked for a bottle of sparkling water. And realized the glass cups smelled bad. If you want a wellness drink arrive early when they open around 11am. It was 1pm when I ordered my food. I ordered the Farmer's breakfast, it came with Two eggs any style, choice of crispy bacon or chicken sausage, grilled sourdough, potatoes. The potatoes were crumbs and left overs, a scoop of potatoes. For a $19 meal I couldn't believe what I was being served. The chicken sausage was amazing! The sourdough bread was grilled with no oil or butter. I asked for jelly thinking they would have compote. Instead they have mini jars of jelly. The main difference is that jam is a shelf-stable, fruit-puree preserve made with high amounts of sugar and added pectin. Compote is a chunkier, less sugary fruit sauce cooked quickly without pectin and meant to be eaten fresh. My husband had the Last Chicken Sandwich, which he said was good but the sandwich didn't come with a side just a $18 chicken sandwich that tasted wonderful.
