I'm surprised the overall rating is so low. I love these dogs. Kind of a depressing room and melancholy mood in the place ... the people behind the counter go about their business silently and sort of sadly, it seems. I usually find myself here in the late afternoon and there are usually only one or two other customers in there, eating solemnly by themselves. And there's always a TV on playing CNN or something. But the hot dogs are excellent and expertly prepared and all of the accoutrements (chili, sauerkraut, buns) are all perfect also. Also, on a brighter note regarding the atmosphere and mood, my favorite nephew Conor told me once that he was there at 3:00 a.m. on a Saturday night once and the place was packed with a huge extended family group who seemed to be there as an after-party to a Quinceañera, and everyone was wearing tuxes and gowns and half of them were under ten years old and it was a very happy and festive mood. So, maybe I'm just not going at the right time of day.

First time visitor. Did not know what to expect nor read any reviews before going in to the place. Walking in I realize it was nothing that was high tech or classy. Or ordered a western omelet which came with home fries and toast. I understand at 6am you can run a business with the cook accepting the money. But when I see the cook not wearing gloves when handling food. And you touching my toast with your bare hands that you just cooked over the grill and rung up my total on the register. I couldn't begin to eat the food. I am not about the rest. But I am one that thinks there is steps of decency establishment's can impose on staffs who your appointing to serve your customers. There was two buckets on the dining floor catching water from the leaking roof. And flies hovering around my food. I would not return to this place

I went into this place because I heard the hot dogs are really good. When I walked in it didn't look how I expected it to. It an old school cafeteria look. There was only 1 older guy working, he wasn't the friendliest, but I don't know if I would either if I was the cook and the cashier. I ordered my phone, it was decently priced. The hot dog was good. The fries were horrible. Seem like they sat in grease for hours. They taste very old as well. I probably wouldn't come here again.

It is a very nice restaurant; Large, but not overbearing. I could see going here either on date night, or with 2 more couples. Our server Patrick was fantastic from the beginning of the night, straight through to the end. He was friendly, and very efficient. Chef/owner Scott came out from the kitchen to greet us and other patrons, and was gracious to everyone. Onto the food. The Duck Tacos and Mussels were very tasty. I think I might put a call into Chef and have him make me a bottle of that Mussels sauce to take home with me. Then came the crisp Caesar Salad, which kept everything bright. To finish, we had the Black Cod and Duck Confit, both of which were very well balanced and cooked perfectly. Oh, and the Guava-glazed Brussels Sprouts were a perfect side. Next time, I want to try one or two of their desserts. All-in-all, we had a great experience, and the night was a success. Chef, see you soon. I might just bring a large mason jar for some sauce!..

I had the adult happy meal with a corn dog and altered ceaser salad with BBQ sauce. BBQ sauce is not on the menu but ask them for it and they will make the delicious sauce for you. The chocolate crunch bar is the best dessert I have had in a long time, the only thing missing from it is whipped cream. The vibe is very chill, will definitely be adding this in my rotations.

The ambiance is actually very nice, especially for a restaurant hidden behind a strip mall. Unfortunately, that was the best part of the night. When we arrived, no one was at the host stand. After waiting a few minutes, someone who appeared to be a runner or assistant eventually approached us. We had a reservation and were offered a high-top; when we asked for a regular table, it felt like a reluctant accommodation. We were brought bread, butter, olives, and an eggplant caponata that was extremely oily. We booked through OpenTable because we had an $80 reward card, and the restaurant loudly advertises a prix fixe menu on its website. Oddly, we were never offered the prix fixe menu, and we noticed no other diners were either. It felt intentionally hidden. When we asked for it, the waiter (Hector) seemed visibly annoyed. We ordered eggplant rollatini and shrimp appetizers, and the angry chicken parm as the entrée. If you order off the prix fixe menu, expect noticeably smaller portions. Two pieces of eggplant rollatini instead of three, about a third of the usual shrimp portion, a tiny piece of chicken parm, and a small cannoli. At $55 per person, that feels excessive. The chicken parm was thin, burnt, and came out slightly cold. Easily a 2/5. They also charge for soda refills, which genuinely surprised me. I dine out frequently and almost never see that anymore. When the bill came, we tried to use the OpenTable reward card and were told the waiter had never seen one before. There was supposedly no manager on duty, and we were told the card couldn't be accepted and that we had to put the full amount on a credit card instead. Between the unfocused service, the awkward handling of the prix fixe menu, and food that didn't come close to justifying the price, this was not a good experience. I wouldn't return and wouldn't recommend it, which is unfortunate given the hype.

Located on the back side of a strip mall in Warren . Such a beautiful ambiance definitely a good date night spot . They have a full bar and plenty of seating . We went on a Wednesday night around 5:30 and it wasn't too busy at the time but by the time we left they were almost a full house . The staff were super friendly and attentive. The menu has plenty of delicious choices and they offer specials as well. I'm all about the appetizers so me and my eldest daughter ordered several to share as our meal . We had the artichoke salad ( fell a little short in the flavor department could have probably used a balsamic glaze to elevate the flavor ) but the special truffle lunetta OMG so good petite raviolis and truffle butter cream sauce . We also ordered the seafood tower for 2 which was served with raw oysters and clams and jumbo shrimp and chunks of crab meat . We also tried the grilled octopus specials served with fingerling potatoes. My husband tried the pork chop which was about 2 inches thick and cooked to perfection tender and had great flavor. My youngest ordered the tagliatelle pasta which was cooked slightly al dente and served in a tomato cream sauce it was delicious . Our meal was simply delicious and we enjoyed the atmosphere. I will definitely come back to try some of those other delicious sounding dishes . They are celebrating their 15 year anniversary! Cheers to many more !

I recently met a friend at 22 West for a few drinks and dinner. We got there at the tail end of Happy Hour and enjoyed a couple of locally-produced draft beers. The food itself was perfectly okay -- nothing mind-blowing, but decent enough for a casual bite. We shared a dozen chicken wings and both thought they were pretty good. I had a turkey burger and french fries -- which was well-executed and filling. Looking at their website, it seems as if they've changed up their menu since my visit late last month.. but, I'm not sure I'm going back to try it again because the service really dragged our experience down. We sat at the bar and the staff behind the rail barely paid attention to us and seemed ambivalent about our presence at best. The biggest issue for me happened when I went to the men's restroom and found the soap dispenser completely empty. On the way back to my seat, I mentioned it to the hostess so it could be addressed by the staff and asked if she had any hand sanitizer. She just told me it was her first day on the job and she didn't know who to ask about either. Leaving a restroom without soap is bad enough, but a front-of-house staff member completely brushing off a basic hygiene issue because she didn't want to find a manager is just really bad customer service. It's a convenient spot with decent pub food, but they definitely need to tighten up their service and basic restroom maintenance.
