RCI timeshare unit in Squaw Valley / Olympic Village. Came here for a weekend getaway in June and made the reservation pre-covid, and because of covid, we were able to reschedule without a change fee. We stayed in a studio which had a full kitchen (including a microwave, electric kettle, dishwasher, and stove), a fireplace, and a pullout couch which slept an additional two people. The wifi comes with the room and was fast enough for me to be able to WFH. The bathroom has a tub and there were plenty of towels. Parking is also included and is in a garage. The check-in process was easy (starts at 4pm) and the front desk was very friendly. When we checked out, the front desk was closed (it was before 9am) but we were able to leave the gratuity envelope at the desk along with the key cards. They do recycle the cards and there's a receptacle indicating such. There is a small "gym" with a treadmill and stationary bike (no weights). There are hot tubs available by reservation. Overall, the location is good as it's right next to Olympic Village and the slopes of Squaw Valley. The decor was wolf-themed as befits the name and it's a cozy, homey stay. read more

We had a really nice stay at the Red Wolf Lodge a few weeks back. Tip: Booking on their website directly was a little cheaper than the other sites I checked out. Took advantage of the low season (pre-snow) rates and got a pretty good deal on a 1 bedroom suite. It's located right across from Squaw Valley Village and features covered parking to protect your car from the snow. Front desk people were friendly (greeted with a nice cup of spiked cider), though the downside is they're not open 24/7 and hotel service also has limited hours. Loved that they have several luggage carts hanging out by the elevators. No need for multiple trips to/from the car, though those suckers were a little hard to steer. The room was great - we loved the cozy rustic design. It wasn't too big or small - the main room had the living area, dining table to one side, and the kitchen along another side. Our room also had a balcony, though it was a tad too chilly to step outside. Everything was clean. Room featured a sofa bed, rocker, TV, gas fireplace, and a fully stocked kitchen (cups, plates, utensils, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, etc). Small basket of free food amenities included coffee, hot cocoa, and microwave popcorn. Bathroom was clean and modern. The clubhouse features a living room area with TV, kitchen, foosball table, workout equipment, and bathrooms. The hotel doesn't have a full gym, rather it's 3 to 4 pieces of workout equipment on one side of the clubhouse. The outside surrounding the clubhouse are the hot tubs, table/chairs, fire pit, and a BBQ grill. Within walking distance are one or two small lifts and just across the street is Squaw Valley Village with some shops, restaurants, and a few fire pits. There is an old golf course (I'm assuming it's old as all the grass is dried up) across the parking lot - it's nice for walks or biking. Some of it is paved and some of it is on wooden planks. During the summer season, the lodge offers free cruiser bikes to borrow (adults & children). Saw about a dozen or so bikes outside and we did rent them one morning to cruise around the golf course. Definitely a nice perk. Overall, Red Wolf Lodge is a great place to stay if you're in Squaw Valley. It's cozy, clean, and comfortable. Location is really central as well. read more

We stayed here for three nights and absolutely loved every aspect of our stay here. Value 1. This is one of the more economical places to stay in Tahoe. At 140$ per night, we felt that it was a steal as compared to some of the more expensive places in Tahoe. 2. It's worth noting that they do have a daily charge of $21 which is collected only once you stay over. Location 1. The place is at a driving distance of 15 minutes from Tahoe City and Truckee which makes it fairly easy for tourists to plan their stay in Tahoe. 2. There are ample restaurants, a grocery store, a Starbucks located at a walking distance of 2 minutes in the Village, thereby making this place super convenient to get food, groceries or even an early morning coffee. 3. If you're in Tahoe during the winter for skiing, this place is in close proximity to multiple ski locations. Staff and cleanliness 1. The staff was super friendly and highly efficient with regards to cleanliness and daily service. 2. Through the pandemic, they're avoiding room service to errr on the side of caution but are still providing minimal services such as trash and laundry on 2 days a week. 3. They do guarantee that your room would be sealed from the last time anyone stayed thereby preventing any staff from entering this room. read more

This is a quiet, nicely updated and equipped timeshare in a great location. It is adjacent to the village at Palisades Tahoe. It is an easy walk to great trails, restaurants, shops and coffee. The resort has free bike use. You can easily access the Truckee River bike trail. I enjoyed unit 102 as it had easy access to a gas grill and hot tubs through the sliding glass door. First, the location is excellent. Just a short walk from the village and some lifts. On the other hand, customer service was very poor. They were under major balcony construction from 8:00 - 5:00 during my entire stay, and was not given the chance to either reschedule or change rooms for the "inconvenience". Then they had the audacity to charge me for a lost ski locker key after being explicitly told that I could leave the keys in the room on check out. I did so in a very clear and open spot, but after two weeks of "investigating" nothing was resolved. Everything was nice, but the service was sadly very poor read more

2 min walk to the lift. Location is great right by Base to base gondola and Funitel. Covered parking and friendly staff. They had s'more kits Saturday night which was fun for the kids. Nice hot tubs in the Clubhouse area. Washer /dryer is shared for the floor and is free but you need 4 quarters to get detergent. We had nice views of the fireworks they had this past Saturday in the Village. read more

My husband and I visited Squaw Valley for a wedding, which happened to fall on his birthday. I wanted to surprise him with something in the room so he didn't feel that his birthday was forgotten. I called the hotel ahead of time, with a request for a bottle of wine to be placed in the room upon arrival. I ended up speaking with the GM Nick Batlinger, who went above and beyond accommodating my request. My husband was over the moon when we checked into our room and were greeted with a bottle of Pinot Noir, an entire bag of beef jerky, trail mix, chocolates, and a cookies & cream cake (his favorite, which seemed almost like magic that they knew?!). Besides this favor, we enjoyed the room for several other reasons. Location is clutch, room is decorated in a fun rustic style but outfitted well, and overall a good value. Love love love!! Nick the manager and staff are very friendly and accommodating. They get to know you and take a genuine interest. This visit was summer (during covid) they sanitized the entire room and every dish and piece of silverware is in dishwasher. The deck and clubhouse open and we could sit around fire pit at night. Hot tub closed due to covid but normally open and very nice to have on site. (3) The luggage carts are great for transporting up to rooms. Had a wonderful stay at Red Wolf Lodge. The rooms are spacious, all appliances are clean and in working order. Bed was super comfortable! I would have gave a 5 star had there been information regarding no cleaning in between days. We ended up running out of toilet paper, we bought some at the local save mart and thankfully brought our own towels as they weren't replaced during our stay. It wasn't communicated early on that rooms are not cleaned daily because of covid, so just bring your own towels and a few extra rolls of TP. Thank you, Red Wolf Lodge, for your hospitality! I appreciate your efforts to make right of a bad experience when I came to your lodge in December 2016. (Read previous review for for background.) Red Wolf offered me a one-night complimentary stay to make up for the incident 4 months ago. Since the snow has been freakin amazing, it was really, really hard to just get a reservation as they get booked so many weeks in advance. I provided the front desk several weekends that my boyfriend and I were free to come to Tahoe, and alas, we finally managed to get a date set. In the months leading up to our reservation, Red Wolf periodically called me regarding cancellations and if we would like to come early. We chose our original date, but it was nice of them to stay in contact with updates. Checking in was hassle-free and easy - they even allowed us to check in an hour or so earlier than 4pm! The receptionist was lovely, gave us the rundown of all the discounts we get from being their guests, and informed us of the amenities (like a sauna I unfortunately didn't have time to use) and the special adult apple cider night with cookies. The room was so nice and cozy, and honestly it was a lot better and bigger than I expected. A comfyyy king-sized bed with plush pillows, extra pillows and sheets, 2 full bathrooms (master bathroom had hot tub jets) with a ceiling heater, full kitchen, dining room, living room, and patio view of Squaw Valley. It had a very cabin like feel. The beds are amazing!! We had such a good night sleep after shredding the gnar all day. I would definitely stay here again. This is an old hotel . The rooms are clean . Our stay however was less than desirable - the heater was really loud and came on many times throughout the night. So we didn't sleep. The bed was a Murphy bed and was uncomfortable . We stayed the next night across the way for a few dollars more the amenities were worlds better. There is absolutely no view- in fact beyond the sun deck over the six foot wall is a Contruction yard. read more

The most amazing customer service anywhere I've been..and I've been all over the world! I've stayed at squaw for at least a week for the last 5 consecutive years?! and had never heard about red wolf lodge until this last visit. We usually stay with another family at the squaw valley lodge which is a convenient ski in resort but a walk from the bus stop should you want to take the bus to the other affiliated resort (which sometimes has better snow). This past visit however, we wanted to find a cheaper resort for our family to stay at on our own and I jumped online and found the red wolf lodge. At first I was unsure of where in olympic valley the lodge was. But found that it is located right in front of the funitel! It's literally the closest walk to the funitel and the bus stop with olympic village shops and restaurants at your convenience. The front desk, though not open 24 hours has a 24 hour call button for all your late check in needs/questions. They also immediately responded when we asked for more hot chocolate packets and powerbars. Yes, they provide hot chocolate and powerbars. They were also very helpful in answering my questions and personally calling other resorts for questions they could not answer for me. The room was spacious and cozy with plenty of room for coats/boards/etc. There is also a full kitchen with all the appliances you need (think blenders, oven, stove, etc). along with all the diningware you could want. Overall, I stayed in this resort for 3 nights and loved every moment of it. Can't believe its not more well known. read more

So when can we go back? This isn't the fanciest place, but it served its purpose and then some. We booked a week via Interval so it was maybe $250 for a studio for the whole week, with a kitchen. The location is great, especially if you like to see. The staff could not have been any nicer. They have plenty of parking. They offer a huge dvd selection. They have two jacuzzis as well which let you check out the mountains right behind you. The studio has a small kitchen but worked out great. The location is about ten minutes from Tahoe City and 15 minutes from Truckee. Good times. read more

Red Wolf Lodge totally came to the rescue when we had a horrific Airbnb experience when our host's (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/4059978) ceiling leaked onto our bed late into the evening. Though it was her ceiling that leaked, our Airbnb host absolutely refused to refund us for the night claiming that we had missed her "check out" time insisting that we return to her house to stay in her basement room across from her and her husband... who was on an oxygen tank. Charming. Our friends staying at Red Wolf totally came to our rescue offering for us to stay with them on the pull out couch for the evening. The next morning, when we told the front desk at Red Wolf the whole story, they offered us free early check in (9am), a discounted rate (less than Ann's Airbnb place) + a late check out. A perfect solution as we were there for a wedding and had no where to get ready after the Airbnb debacle. It's strange that a business would be more hospitable and gracious than a seemingly sweet old grandmother but this was absolutely the case in this situation. Thanks to Red Wolf, we managed to enjoy our last 24 hours in the Valley in a warm room with a fireplace, a soft bed and best part, no leaks. The clubhouse + hot tubs were pretty great too. Just traveler's tip for the area - when booking rooms, don't just check online for avails - call the hotel. We found that, in the valley, though hotels may show up as fully booked, they often may have vacancy... particularly in the off-season. We definitely wish we went for a hotel vs. Airbnb in this case. read more

This place is a nice cabin like suite. It has a kitchen, fireplace, and "living room" on top of the bedroom and bathroom. We came during off season (October-November) so it was pretty silent around us. I can easily till this is an clutch spot for season, for the lifts are literally right behind the lodge. There is shopping and restaurants at The Village locates next door and is only 10-20 mins from North Tahoe lake for other restaurants. They have activities throughout the week including welcome breakfast, s'more night, movie night, etc. They also have movies you can get to watch on your own located at the lobby. read more

So we booked a Sun through Weds stay here this past week and we had a great time. The staff was pretty nice. They have free snoeshoes as well as other items you can borrow to use if you decide not to ski or snowboard. This worked out for us since we didn't plan snowboarding everyday we actually took advantage of the snow shoes and had a blast just exploring the area around the resort. We booked a small studio with a full kitchen. Brought groceries and pretty much cooked dinner each night which was kinda cozy since we didn't feel like eating out everynight. They supplied all the kitchen ware you need. the resort is right behind Squaw so we were able to walk a super short distance to the ticket window and then right on to the first lift. The location definitely rocks. Almost all the rooms have a balcony or patio of some sort which was cool. They also have club house with a tv and a bbq and a couple hot tubs. We'd definitely will be coming back. read more

Being at the base of Red Dog in Squaw Valley is a great location for a resort during ski season. But it's even nice in the summer! There are lots of great activities around the valley (hiking, biking, horseback riding, swimming and skating at the top of Squaw Valley at High Camp --Cablecar does run in the summer). Being a timeshare owner here since the '80s, I've stayed here through several decor switches, including the southwest phase with straw mixed in the wall plaster through the current "bears and log furniture". The staff is nice to homeowners as well as visitors, and I'm impressed that they've kept everything up so well. The kitchens and bathrooms have been updated, the sleeper sofas just replaced, and the maintenance crew fixes things as soon as you let them know there's a problem. We even enjoyed brand new fluffy towels in our room, always a bonus. Architecturally, keep in mind the place was originally designed as an apartment building in the '70s and has been modified slightly to the resort function. The bathrooms are tiny, but that's how things were when Jimmy Carter was President. The fireplaces have had gas logs installed, a big upgrade from the days of presto logs. Updated lighting, flooring, TVs and other electronics have also been added. You can park your car under the building with no extra charge, shady in the summer and no snow to scrape in the winter. The appliances work and kitchens are well stocked with everything you'll need to "cook in" if you want to spend a quiet evening in your condo by the fire, or enjoy breakfast in your 'jammies'. Staff will help you find activities around the area, give directions, help you with possible room upgrades, answer questions.....they're always great. My one criticism on this visit....what's with the beach chairs on the balconies? I think some nice bistro tables and stools would be a great addition. We've enjoyed the resort with and without the kids, and know you will, too! read more

The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the drapes weren't heavy enough to block out the light. You will love the full kitchen, I cooked every day and we ate out two or three times. BF surprised me with a weekend getaway to Red Wolf Inn. I've never stayed at a resort in Tahoe so I was excited. Staff: Staff was nice & helpful, especially Diana at the front desk who is a bit sassy. You can borrow some snow gear for free like snow shoes and discs for sledding and they have a really extensive movie list. Room: The kitchen was was well-stocked with everything you could possibly need for an extended stay - blender, knifes, serving trays, plates, cups, etc. Only thing they didn't have was chopsticks, so eating Korean food we made one night with a knife & fork felt so wrong. The whirlpool tub is amazing after a long day of boarding. Overall, the room stayed warm & cozy, even when the heater or fireplace was turned off. Location: Ski in & out from the Squaw Valley resort and stumbling steps away from all the bars & restaurants. Highly recommend this place and would stay here again. read more

We just arrived back after a week on property and absolutely LOVED everything about this place. Brittany at the front desk was personable and welcoming from the first time we chatted on the phone, to various chats throughout our stay. She is a gem! Our suite was tastefully decorated and well appointed for our every need. The beds were so cozy that I think my mattress is going to be a disappointment when I fall in to it tonight. My three kids (one tween and two teens) were obsessed with the 10 or so channels geared just for them and the super fast wifi. My youngest requested a "bubble bath" nightly and is now requesting we put in a jetted tub in our home lol - thanks a lot! We also lucked out in receiving a room on the side facing the tram. This matters when the sun rises in the morning if you enjoy sleeping later than sunrise haha! Anyway, this was a perfect base to explore hiking trails, take the free lodge bikes down the Truckee river, day trip to Virginia City/Carson City, and enjoy water sports in Tahoe City and Kings Beach. It was an epic vacation and we hope to come back in the Fall before it snows :) read more

Location! Location! Location! This place has the ideal location right at the bottom of Olympic Valley. Even though the amenities are a little out dated, we loved having a full kitchen. Only giving 4/5 stars because the hot water heater ran out of water after 1/2 way filing the bathtub. When I mentioned something to the man at the front desk, he told me that each room had a 50 gallon hot water tank and that filling the bathtub would empty it. There's no way 1/2 of the bathtub is 50 gallons. It's probably about a 20 gallon tub. Also, my 3 year old had an accident and wet the bed at night. When I asked the housekeeper if she could change our sheets, she said it would be a $25 charge. At first I thought she was joking. She was not. We discovered Red Wolf through a Living Social & were very pleased with nice accommodations right next to Squaw - a true ski in and ski out that doesn't cost a fortune. 5 Stars: TJ, the genuine, friendly & easy going guy who checked us in, coordinated the complimentary s'mores on the open fire pit & patiently swapped out numerous free DVDs for my voracious kids. Employees like this make all the difference & really set the mood for your stay. He is gold. - Location to Squaw = 100 yards! You are RIGHT THERE! You can't even park closer (unless you pay for Squaw VIP parking). 1 minute walk Squaw Kids bldg, 1 minute to Funitel tram, ticket booths, free shuttle to & from Alpine, Village Shops & restaurants. We easily beat the crowds getting our tickets, skied right to the condo gate & walked to our room for lunch, then 1 minute walk to Red Dog Lift back up the mountain. This is a real ski in/ski out for a fraction of the price. - Complimentary stuff! Free communal washer & driers (bring detergent or buy for $1), Monday morn pancake breakfast w/sausage, bacon, fruit, juice, coffee (but since it's made on just one home electrical griddle, prepare to queue up for a couple of soggy pancakes. Surprisingly, absolutely NO timeshare presentation or activity center pitches...just a good ol' fashioned meet your neighbors feel good. - We were on 2nd floor far corner 1 BR and had a gorgeous pano view of KT-22 and Snow King. All the odd numbered rooms have windows facing the mountains, but even numbered rooms over look the communal deck areas and endless Squaw parking lot. BUT this room was noisy due to closest proximity to the mountain (see below). 4 Stars: - Very spacious, comfortable accommodations with nice linens. The pillows, while plentiful, were ridiculously thick. Nice hand-logged themed furniture & Tahoe decor: not fancy, but pleasant. Well equipped full kitchen with ample supply of pots, dishes, appliances, etc, but top element of oven did not work properly and toaster did not toast fully. Immaculately clean, but no daily maid service. The housekeeping staff does do "mini clean ups" every couple of days. It's listed as "towel exchange and garbage collection" but these wonderful ladies actually do a quick surface wipe down of kitchen & bathroom, sweeping, vacuuming & tidying up as well: I wasn't expecting this & it was greatly appreciated. They really deserved the tip we left. - Starter supplies: nice to have dish soap, dishwasher detergent paper towels, napkins, coffee, tea & hot cocoa packets to start you off. Also free manufacturer sample packs that contained liquid bandages, mints, etc. - Nice community room where you can use the kitchen if grilling on the deck or just have more space to spread out in the living room type of space. Open area fitness center has 6 gym quality cardio machines, sauna. Fun to use the outdoor hot tubs at night while surrounded by snow. - Very good water pressure with dedicated hot water, but it is instantly HOT, so be careful with your little ones. 3 Stars: - The manager (I forget her name) who was "corporate" friendly=artificially nice because she has to be. Whenever I went to front desk, she always responded like she was being bothered, even if she wasn't on the phone. - Toiletries: 1 tiny shampoo/conditioner tube and lotion, 2 small bar soaps. Bring your own (you can buy in the Village, but everything is like airport prices there). - Room was always hot, even though we never even turned on the heat (during winter!). We'd have to open the windows to cool it down, but it's okay to have fresh mountain air. 2 Stars: - "Resort Fee" wasn't too bad = $9.90, but if it is to pay for a daily paper (which only came half the time) and Wi Fi (which didn't work well = slow, intermittent, sometimes not at all), then those services should be dependable. At least the covered parking was worth it. - Front desk was only staffed until 7:00 pm. See below why that can be a problem. 1 Star: - Noise levels. The convenience of being right next to the ski slopes means that you'll hear every beep & roar from the grooming machines and bobcats that operate ALL night and all morning. Unfortunately a family with 3 small kids checked in at night above us and they let their kids run wild = screaming, jumping, pounding, knocking furniture down, jumping off furniture, using the luggage cart as a rolling toy. And to make it worse (and disgusting), we had to listen to the amorous activities of the parents later in the night. And then the kids started again promptly at 7:00 in the morning. Of course this is not the fault of Red Wolf, but it does effect how well you'll be able to sleep (or not) at this facility. Perhaps Red Wolf can put these families with on the 1st floor, which probably makes more sense since the kids can then run outside within the gated communal areas, within eye shot of their oblivious parents. Despite the noise (we'll bring ear plugs next time) because we'd definitely return to Red Wolf. read more

Location, location, location. The overriding thing about this place is that its right at Squaw Valley. You can wake up, carry your skis right up to the lifts and get going. Also close to all the other stores, bars and restaurants at the village. Very convenient Other than location, though, there is not much else. Service is uninspired. I had a message light blinking on my telephone and couldn't retrieve it. Called the front desk and they couldn't help me with that. The front desk also closes at 7PM so if you want anything after that time you are basically out of luck (for us we needed extra blankets and couldn't get them). Finally, and this was really odd --- there is a extremely strong detergent (I hope) type smell permeating the hallways of this place. Had the rooms smelled the same way I couldn't have stayed there. 2 stars for the rooms and the service, add one star for location. read more

We arrived at the Red Wolf Lodge and checked into our studio: Full kitchen, really nicely furnished and decorated and great (albeit small) bath. There is a Murphy bed and a sleeper sofa which accomodate our family of 4 just well. We got a ton of information from the friendly reception lady and Tiffany, the site manager, provided us with additional information of what activities were planned the following week (local historic review, arts and crafts for kids, movie and popcorn night etc.). Every day there is a great activity and the club house allows for some decent work out, big screen TV (in case the one in the studio is not big enough). Each studio has the full kitchen, a DVD/C/Radio player, TV and is fully stocked. Outside of our studio, we had access to 3 hot tubs and the clubhouse. Location is definitely a big plus as it takes 30 sec to walk over the Squaw Valley's shops, restaurants and ski lifts. Definitely a great place if you don't mind the small size of the studio, but normally nobody spends a lot of time inside. read more

This is a review of the lodge during a summer visit. It is about 10 minutes from Tahoe City and 20 minutes from Truckee. It is in a more secluded, sleepy area than either of the aforementioned cities. We liked that. We stayed in a one bedroom. It was a little outdated, but well-maintained. We enjoyed having some extra space and a kitchen. The downfalls are that the Internet does not work, the pillows are ridiculously thick, and the sofa bed isn't the comfiest. Perhaps, all sofa beds are the same. Anyway, I'm on the fence about booking here again. I wouldn't be disappointed if we came back, but I'm curious to see what else exists nearby in this price range. read more

Stayed here in the fall with an awesome Groupon deal and was pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the receptionist and how spacious the room was! The kitchen was fully furnished, and everything was clean and tastefully decorated. After a long day of hiking, it was really nice to turn on the fire, drink some wine, and crash in front of the TV. To top it all off, we put ourselves in for a raffle drawing for a free two-night stay and won! This would be a great place during ski season given that it is so close to the Squaw Valley slopes. But, it was also great during the off-season since there's so much awesome hiking around the lake. Spectacular views and a nice-getaway. read more

Me and the wife were looking for a quick overnight getaway and red wolf had the most reasonable prices. Had the neccessary amenities like a hot tub, and nice rec room with foosball table, good for winding down after a day on the hill.. the room was great too...simple with a nice tv and couch, stocked with plates and glassware (we always need wine glasses) if you wanted to cook. Also liked the fact that the room had a murphy bed that gave us extra room when not sleeping. What we enjoyed were the little things, a bag of popcorn, a Jacuzzi tub, and that every cloth in the room had its own fold, like someone there has an oragami degree. In fact someone had folded an elephant on the couch when we walked in and put Googley eyes on it.... just a nice touch. read more

felt very homey like your own condo in the sierras. i like the rustic outdoor theme such as wooden rocking chairs room was in pretty good condition. carpets didnt look nasty for being a resort next to the slopes. i like the little amenities in the room such as a little nook with a long bench for you to change out of your boots when you enter the room and the little rocking chair next to a coffee table. they even have chairs out on the balcony. the fold out bed also felt decent, it wasnt worn down and if it gets too cold, you can turn up the heat or just take out another comforter they have in the closet. added bonus, the tub had a jet. things they can improve on: tv had such low definition. this is 2015, and the video quality of the tv looked like bootleg low res video from the early 2000s. Also the lights on the clocks were blindingly bright at night. so i had to block the display with a piece of paper. read more

My first interaction was calling to say I would be checking in late. A friendly and helpful staffer put me at ease. The room is huge and well appointed in a great location just a quick stroll to the square. The desk staff is very knowledgeable about the area and very accommodating. A bargain for a summer stay and appears perfect for a ski trip. Covered parking, ski lockers near the elevator, and plenty of hooks in the room to hang coats, powder pants, etc. It is tucked behind another building so head for the Red Dog lift and its on the right. read more

Rooms are nice, rustic and "cabin like". Great location. Super quiet this time of year. (October) staff is nice and helpful. Walk to the village at Squaw.. shopping and food . Close to Tahoe City and Truckee so there are lots of options for activities. read more
