Good steady comfort food for kids and adults. Friendly staff. Good bar selection. If you like tater tots this is the place. And their home made criucst chips are divine. Why the minus one star? Water tastes like pool water. I think restaurants should instal a water filter on water consumed by patrons. Some cost on the front end but does convey "We rather not have you drink water that is heavily laced with a world war II agent". Good place all around but bring your water for now. read more

Just average, nothing necessarily bad but nothing that makes me want to go back either. I had the yardbird. It was just ok, I think it would have been better if it was at least warmed up. The housemade chips were good though. read more

We took our son and his wife here on a Saturday night. Everything was outstanding. The service was prompt. The food came out quickly or in a reasonable amount of time. We ordered the cheese curds and tater tot nachos. The cheese curds were on point, in fact, they were probably the best I've had out here in Tennessee. The tater tot nachos had a lot of flavor. We were all pleasantly surprised because I feel so many restaurants out here (after moving from Chicago), have very little flavor or seasoning. This was not the case at Redbud. They weren't afraid to add flavor. I ordered the chicken avocado sandwich and I'm regretting that I didn't save half of it. The bread was extremely soft and fresh, the lettuce, tomato, and avocado were so fresh, and the chicken was perfect, not too much, not too little. The bacon was very lean and not all fatty like some places. I asked for ranch on the side instead of Mayo. Outstanding flavor. I ordered the mac & cheese as my side. It was probably the best mac & cheese I've had here. I don't know what magic they put in their ketchup, but my husband's steak fries were fought over so we could dip. I would go back just for the ranch and ketchup (I think they call it ketchup glaze.) We will definitely return and bring others! read more

Had the absolute tastiest lemon shrimp dish! And my friend got the party fowl turkey sandwhich which was also delicious! The meatloaf is out of this world, both the entree and the panini. Honestly every sandwhich they have is great. My new fav side is the cheesy potato casserole! Don't forget to try the banana pudding for dessert! This place has a beautiful and comfortable bar. The lighting and music are relaxed and tasteful. The seats are padded not cold metal r hard wood (unless you are on the patio) like most the places on Sevier Ave. The bean & corn salsa was amazing - all the food we tried was very good. There is parking conveniently located at the end of the building, or if you are lucky you might get one of the few parking lots at the front door. We also had really good service - the owners seem like they may have a knack for staffing too. It's so nice to have a place like this in South Knoxville! I wish we had discovered it sooner! read more

We went for brunch, so Yummy! The Wake up Burrito, #WaffleLife and Early Riser we all delicious and attractively presented. Waffles weren't too sweet, but had great flavor! We were so excited to try this new place. We met another couple there for dinner tonight. We ordered the triple dip. The black bean hummus was a little salty and I like salt and it was a little salty for me. The beer cheese dip after eating about half of it had some brown something floating in it. We pulled it out and asked what it was the waitress said I do not know and left it sitting on the table. Then later she took it to the kitchen to ask what it was and when we asked again she said they do not know. I would never ask to not pay for something we ordered but never have I had a waitress just say I don't know very flippantly. My shrimp and grits were very tasty. My husband enjoyed his meal as well with soup and sandwich. My friend order chili salmon she said the bbq sauce was overwhelmed the rest of the plate so next time she would get it on the side. We will try it again the place was welcoming. We did stay a while and talk but after bringing the check we never saw the waitress again. read more

We have been here 4 times now- Most of the food is amazing but the service is severely lacking, as is the consistency of bar drinks, which is why I give the 3 stars. Also they have an amazing potato casserole which is essentially hashbrown casserole and the best thing on their menu but sadly they don't serve it during brunch hours which makes no sense since it's more of a brunch item than dinner. Decent but could probably be so much more. Service left a lot to be desired. After informing our waitress that this was our first visit and we are both gluten free we ordered our food. Both of our salads came out with a side of bread and flour tortilla chips crumbled on top. Thankfully we did not eat any of it. After several minutes we had another server find our server. Informed her of the mistake, and proceeded to wait a very long time for the redo of our salads. Keep in mind, this was a not busy Saturday afternoon. We ordered salads. It took a looonnngg time for our food. Food was decent. Kind of flavorless but that's okay. We prefer healthy eating. Just nothing to really pull us to return. read more

the service was an absolute joke. mine and my wife's drinks were dry the entire time not even a single refill. the food ordered for our 1 and half year old ran dry. and the servers both times were less attentive then someone in a casket. my monte cristo was dry and even the cinnamon roll on the top was as a hard as a rock. First I will preface by saying that the food is delicious. I have been a handful of times, and have yet to be disappointed by the food/drinks. HOWEVER, the staff and managers are severely lacking in quality (and experience maybe). As a party of five, we ordered and were informed that one of the orders was not available at the moment due to the absence of a main ingredient. The server left while the fifth person made up his mind. I assume she put in the first four orders and then came back to take the fifth. I believe there was a huge mistake on the part of our server, which was forgetting to put in the fifth order. 4/5 orders arrived at the table and she said that she would be right back with the missing order. She came back with a drink refill and said "the sandwich is on the way." To me, this is a guarantee that the dish is walking out of the kitchen at that moment. I then see her return to the dining room with a dish, assuming it is our missing one. To my disappointment, she took it to another table and started to clear their dishes. I was dissatisfied with the empty promise that our food was already on the way.... twice now. I got up from the table and addressed her, saying that we need that sandwich out her. Next thing I know, the manager arrives at our table telling us that he has an upset server and that there was an "exchange of words". Sir, get your story straight before you start blaming the patrons. Unprofessional. I'm still pretty sure that she forgot to place the additional order to begin with. I, the patron, was not rude to the server, so I can't help it if she cant handle confrontation. But for the manager to come to us and say, "next time ask for a manager" is unacceptable. The one order was comped, but this does not make up for how the manager addressed the situation. read more
