Cool and Fun. Singing Bartender Redd sings through service and walks the floor. Draft and bottled beer. Wine also. Limited mix drink selection but she can mix up whatever. Closes according to how busy they are but usually open through ten pm. Fun for couples and great for groups. Full kitchen also but limited menu. Still great bar food anyway so. read more

While we did not dine in we got burger dinners to go and they were fantastic. I had the best chat with Redd and she was so sweet! She said she sang on days with a "t" in them...Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. From the sounds of it...I'd say things get a little wild and crazy (in a fun way). Also Wednesday is open mic night and Friday is usually a local band. I think if you are just looking to relax and take it easy..maybe try going on Sunday/Monday...oh wait they aren't open then ;) Redd has a whole book of songs from Elvis to The Beatles to Fleetwood Mac to The Lion King...she will sing practically anything! I didn't have the pleasure of hearing her sing, but I can imagine it is a fun and enjoyable place to be on any night. read more

I would've gave it one star but I felt it may be a bit too harsh. The atmosphere is fun and entertaining but the music is mid and annoying after a while. On top of that the service is slow. The food is expensive and not worth the wait. If you enjoy old music and want to get a drink maybe this is the place for you. If you want to enjoy a dinner with the family it is not. Redd, the owner, is just great. Her service is great and her singing entertainment is actually very good! We love the feel and the vibe of the place. Great to have a beer or cocktails with friends. Dinner was a bit on the pricey side for "what you get". Trust me, I don't have a problem with spending a lot of money on dinner, but the menu has potential, but really needs much more charisma as Redd has herself. For example, chicken salad LITERALLY has lettuce and pieces of breaded chicken. That's it for $12! No other veggies, no other toppings but a container of salad dressing. The brisket was way too overcooked and dry. The shrimp boil had quite a few shrimp, not bad, and nicely sized. Unfortunately, it came with a few steamed potato pieces, a 1/3 size corn on the cob and one small piece of sausage. Just "Eh" for $17. The meatloaf sliders were the best thing we ordered. read more

I've been in too many bars all over the place and this is one of the most unique places I have ever been. 1. It is in the back of a gas station. 2. The bartender/owner/manager/everything ran the show. She made my mojito (that was ok) while singing an Elton John song to the entire bar while waving a group walking in the front door to an open table... Wow. Did not eat, just drinks. Limited bar. Only a few cocktail available. If you like interesting hole in the wall dives (not in the dirty sense of the term) and you are in the area; it is a must. read more

Fun bar with good music. The food was slow and eh... My girls ordered a burger and I ordered the large nachos. Our Nachos arrived 15 minutes before the burgers. The Nachos had a few strings of pulled pork with a few beans and some cheese melted. Nice bowls of sides, but average overall. The burgers were almost inedible. Large juicy patties that were coated with enormous amounts of salty seasoning. Definitely not a place to go for food. The band and the atmosphere are fun for an evening of drinking. read more

This is a hidden gem. Don't be put out by the actual gas station out front. Walk through and go to the bar/restaurant in the back and talk to Redd, the owner, bartender, singer. What a down to earth lady with a set of pipes. We were lucky enough to be there on open mike Wednesday, and heard some great local music, especially a cool rendition of Chris Isaac's "Wicked Game", by Holy, from the band Qwerty. What an incredible place!!! Got there when it was still fairly early for dinner. I got the brisket tacos and my husband got the meatloaf...absolutely blown away by the food. It was absolutely delicious!! As the place started filling up, Redd handed out song books to make requests. Man, once she starts singing this place comes to life. Redd sings with a Broadway quality all while keeping up with order after order. The place was packed and she didn't miss a beat. Redd is a blast...her staff is great. Very discriminatory against people that care about their health concerns regarding COVID-19. Walked in at around 830pm on a Saturday night to order takeout with a mask on and immediately was laughed at by staff and patrons alike. "Look at their masks!" one person exclaims. Was told that the kitchen was closed and that they don't serve any food when clearly the smell of food was in the air as well as people around were still eating. Their open hours were (OPEN dine in 5pm- 10pm Tuesdays - Fridays and 5-11pm Saturdays). No one inside the restaurant as well as the staff were practicing social distancing or wearing the appropriate PPE. It was a sad situation. read more

I went with some friends recently and found Redd's to be an awesome environment of throwback design and unique entertainment. The restaurant is scattered with older pictures and posters and many have crazy memes that give a fun vibe. Redd sings more songs than I could ever hope to remember and is a wonderful host. Very friendly and accommodating. Redd's has a burger challenge which until I completed it had never been finished. The Burger Challenge consists of 5 patties stuffed with cream cheese and jalepenos and habeneros with 2 hamburger buns and 2 english muffins stacked high. You also have to finsih 1lb of sweet potato fries dusted in habenero powder and drink 2 pints of rolling rock. The burger was delicious but it's not for weak at heart. There's a waiver to sign before the challenge begins and you have 40 minutes to finish. A nice crowd cheered me to victory and I ended up with a massive meal for free and T Shirt and roll of toilet paper for my efforts. Go check out the restaurant if you want a different vibe! You're at the beach and that's the place to get away and relax and escape the every day monotonous routine that beats you down. Redd's will perk you up and help you relax and either fill you up or break your spirits if you're brave enough to attempt the Burger Challenge :) read more

This is a very unique place. This is not a kid friendly atmosphere. Even after Redd came out and talked to our family she cursed and talked about a box of condoms she had been given and safe sex was her excuse for telling the story. We decided since we ordered appetizers to go ahead and eat that and skipped the main course. Appetizers were good. It's a slow service neat place to hang out if you like that style and have plenty of time. Maybe 4 stars possibly 5 if we had known or been warned it wasn't kid friendly. Kids ages 11-13. This was the worst place I have ever gone!! Had a groupon!! I asked if the ribs fell off the bone because they did cost 25.99.. All I can say is they where the worst ribs I have ever had in my life!! Absolutely disgusting, gummy, fleshy, nasty ribs.. Also the food that my family had order was just as bad.. The hamburger came on a English muffin and the burger was smaller then the muffin.. Wtf.. Please don't waste your money.. If your looking to give your money away, I'll take it.. It's good to support local businesses but not this one.. Awful. Please support other business that deserve it..
