I can't believe I actually liked this place but it was delicious. I had a traditional breakfast with turkey sausage, pancakes, eggs, and fruit. The pancakes were perfect and I heard the French toast is just as good! Not giving them 5 stars because I think my service could've been a little better. They were busy but I shouldn't have to ask for a menu after waiting. I would definitely come again though

Someone's grandmother is in the back making the fried chicken. I tasted my daughter's fried chicken and waffles...it tasted really good. My traditional breakfast was good. The grits were thick and creamy. The sausage links and eggs were good. Our friend's chicken wrap looked good. She said the fries were really good. Our waitress visited us often and she was doing a great job working her tables. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This diner can get busy at night, especially after an event at the Spectrum Center.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Loved the food here! Was here on a quick work trip and needed a fast breakfast. This place was perfect. The service was good. But the food was better! My husband got the red eye special, and shared his pancakes with me, and I got a sausage egg and cheese biscuit. Everything was delicious! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a true diner that definitely takes you back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would definitely recommend for the food! Only negative, to me, they have the cheap creamers on the table, no real half and half or cream. So I had to skip coffee. But my husband drinks it black, so it didn't bother him! Just an FYI

We were staying at a nearby hotel (AC) within walking distance and I needed a hearty breakfast before an all day tattoo session. RedEye is decorated like you're in a 50's diner. With a Jukebox, glossy red everything, metal coating, and photos of celebrities, it's a lot of fun! Our waitress was a gem. She was friendly, attentive, and quick. We ordered the RedEye Special with a waffle, waffle with blueberry compote, and biscuits with gravy. Everything was delicious except for the grits that I ordered on the side...it tasted like it was made with mildew water. I ate it and was fine but it didn't taste great at all. The biscuits and gravy were phenomenal!! I would definitely order those again. Overall, great place to go for early morning breakfast, especially if you're staying at the AC hotel where it's just an elevator ride down and few steps away. I just don't recommend the grits. But do order the biscuits and gravy (with an extra side of gravy because omg).

NFC wildcard weekend, so a 25 minute wait for a table wasn't unexpected or out of the ordinary. It did take about 15 minutes, and us contacting a server directly, to finally get someone to bring bus some water and take our order. Once all of that unpleasantness was done, we had a good experience. The server was knowledgeable of the menu and gave us good advice on dishes. The food came out in a timely manner and was as we ordered. I would come back again and I do recommend thos spot.

Shrimp and grits comes with a biscuit too. Pancakes, egg, and sausage links.

Decent quick place to eat. Got the chicken and waffles. Waffle was good. Hash browns were over cooked. Server was terrible.

Waiting time was not long and the waitress were very attentive. Food is good. Prices a little high for breakfast.

It's, food and fast. Inexpensive. Not much to say about it, it's it's 4am and you need somewhere to eat this is the better option in town.

Nice place, nicer people. Food was on point! I'm vegetarian and found a couple of good options. Went back the next night again.

It started out great with our server but fell quickly. Food was not very good and as stated the service fell by the wayside.

So flavorful and the sauce was so yummy. The chicken and mash was great, I didn't love the sides of Cole slow I think they could replace it with something better. We also tried the breakfast short rib bowl, so good! Great portions Our server was super kind and you could pay online. They had live music for brunch of Sunday as well.

Great atmosphere, Great Food... perfect vibe for a casual date night!…read more My wife and I started out with cocktails, she went with the espresso martini and I had the camp fire bourbon drink. The martini was sweeter than she was accustomed to but still enjoyed it. My cocktail was terrific. We went during Queens feast week, so my meal came with an app and desert that we split. We started off with their outstanding homemade chips and onion tip. It was a perfect light app and the saltiness helped off set the sweetness of the drinks. For dinner, my wife had the chicken cutlet sandwich. Which loved but struggled to eat all of it. It was a very large portion. The chicken was tender and the presentation was highlighted the fresh ingredients. I went with Ma the Meatloaf... love the Will Ferrel reference and entree was amazing. Our server, Austin recommended it. Great call, l virtually licked the plate. We finished off by sharing the Mississippi Mud Pie, which we were too full to eat but still did. Luckily we had time to walk to the comedy show we were attending that. We definitely needed to burn some calories.

Went here on a Wednesday night with five of my coworkers for trivia, and it was a great time…read moreoverall. The place was clean and had a really fun, lively vibe without feeling overwhelming. The staff stood out, both our waitress and the other waiters were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. We ordered a mix of food for the table: tacos, fried pickles, steak and fries, cauliflower, and a burger. The highlights for us were definitely the fried pickles and the cauliflower--both were good and something I'd come back for. Everything else was just alright, hence the reason I deducted a star. We also loved that there was a pool table it added a lot to the experience but I do wish it was free instead of $2 a game. Still, not a dealbreaker. Overall, it's a great spot with a fun atmosphere, good food, and attentive service. Definitely worth checking out, especially for trivia night.

After more than five visits here just in the past month, I figured it was time to make a review…read more Upon entrance, the place has incredible spacing and furniture which feels so inviting. Finding table space earlier in the evening has not been an issue yet for us. The staff is usually pretty welcoming and will immediately try and get some drinks in your hand. If you're interested in ordering food, they have a very solid menu that balances typical pub with a splash of elegance. The Chicken Sandwich is a perfect evening meal to pair with a night out. It has the typical sandwich ingredients but everything is of decent quality. It is not a heavy meal yet it delivers a perfect amount of satiation to begin a night out. The Fried Pickles prepared with a perfect ratio of pickle to batter and perfect for sharing amongst friends. Easily my favorite thing about the place is the pool tables. There is one inside and one outside on the patio. Shooting pool throughout the night and having the lively atmosphere makes for such a wonderful time. We have seemed to have good luck with getting a table but other times we have had to wait. There's a natural center of gravity which keeps myself and the group returning to the daily. Pool tables, never too crowded, solid outdoor areas, and quality food seldom found at bars. I will be coming back in the future and definitely recommend stopping by anybody looking for a calm luh night out.
