Totally great breakfast. Most of the restaurants were seafood, tacos, carnival food, or closed. All I wanted was a simple, All-American breakfast. This place wasn't busy and it was open. They are at the center of the pier and overlooking the water and facing the Peninsula. Our server was nice and welcoming and our food was easy to order, prompt with the food, and a good portion. I had waffle breakfast and husband had eggs benedict. I would definitely eat here again if I'm in the area.

    Spicy garlic mussels

The best mussels dish I've ever had!! I got the spicy garlic mussels that came with garlic bread, and it was perfect. The spicy level was perfect. Taste was superb and addicting. I wanted more bread pieces to dip into the sauce. The mussels had a lot of flavor thanks to that sauce. I got half a pound for myself. The waitress was so nice and friendly. Inside wasn't the most modern and didn't feel so clean, but instead it had the old diner feel which isn't a big deal to me. If anyone ever asks me for the best mussels dish, I would gladly drive them 45 minutes to get it here!

Breakfast is always wonderful here, but this morning was all about salt air, sunshine, and simplicity. A leisurely beach walk capped off with the ultimate luxury: a perfectly swirled soft serve. I love that this spot delivers, whether I'm here for a feast or just a flirtation with my sweet tooth

I didn't have the chance to try any food at the Redondo Beach Coffee Shop, but it looks like a nice casual beach restaurant. I stopped by for a latte, they don't have any flavors so if you prefer adding syrups this may not be the coffee shop for you. There was only 1 server and she was a gem. Super friendly and misheard me that I wanted my latte iced (which is an up charge that I did not know about) she refused to let me pay the extra money and told me it was no problem. Over all if you need caffeine definitely come here because my drink was 80% espresso 20% milk which definitely woke me up. I hope to come by and try their food one day.

Stopped by here on a Thursday afternoon. I ordered a vanilla cone and pretzel with cheese. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The service was great. All of our items were received within 5 minutes. This place is located on the pier and it was nice to watch all the people fishing. There are benches located around the pier to eat and sit. They did have a lot of items on their menu and I thought that was great!

"White Chocolate Frap. With Boba" without the whip cream or chocolate drizzle as shown on the menu :/ and very little boba portion.

The restaurant has inside seating for 40 guests and outside for 30. We arrived between breakfast and lunchtime and were able to get the last outside table. The attentive staff got us seated right away, and after browsing through their menu, we ordered the following items (arrived in 15 minutes) : Marine: The buckwheat outer layer was soft, not soggy, and with nice resistance. The light creamy tomato-based dressing with sliced mushrooms was pleasantly flavorful. Both shrimp and scallops were of good size, fresh and juicy. Fromage: Like Marine Crepe, the buckwheat out layer was soft. The mild brie cheese provided pleasant creaminess to the filling. Seasoned bacon, scrambled egg, onion, and mushroom added nice savoriness to the dish. The portions were sensible and the prices were reasonable. Very nice culinary experience.

First the food size is becoming ridiculous (au gratin potatoes so small) The service is where I'm shocked, the waiting staff turnover is crazy. I was there last Sunday evening (05/24) and one of the waiter with a French accent looks like he just started that day, he was clueless about the menu, didn't know what was the soup of the day, and very inattentive to our table (water refill, empty plates...) like he just wanted our tips ! Also I'm sorry about that one but he had a foul smell like he just finished working out... the table next to us was saying the same thing. I came back on Friday (05/29)early afternoon and seen the same waiter still no refill and same foul smell Im going to try their other locations in PV or Hermosa and see if I'm lucky and they're like that location used to be

After two nice spritz's I attempted to use the restroom only to be stopped by a server. She asked what I was trying to do and when I said simply use the restroom, she replied, "no it's for customers only." It was odd because we just spent nearly $70 there right next to where she was working, dressed like all the other beach goers that day. She said "oh" and let me go with no kindness or apology. No clue how I was identified, and it felt very profiled. But just left me feeling weird and not like I want to go back there or recommend it to anyone. In summary: Drinks and food was fine. One staff member was great. The vibe that server gave me ruined my day.

They have seating on the patio and inside with both tables and booths or at the bar. The decor is fun with bright vibrant colors and picturesque walls. Food was decent, though basic and (see picture of Truffle Fries, they should have spent a few more seconds in the fryer to get at least a little golden and have some crispiness rather than blanched and lackluster). The Machaca Scramble was the most flavorful and best tasting dish we had at our table as the corned beef hash and eggs were standard (not bad but nothing to Yelp rave about). By far the best part was the Bottomless Mimosas which are offered everyday, not just on the weekends! Big bonus! Our server was attentive and had a happy disposition. I felt Serendipity has so much great potential, between the decor, service and bottomless mimosas I'd imagine they would have more birthdays or group celebrations going on, especially for such a large space. But the vibe was a bit off with the low playing Spanish music, I would imagine if they had more pop music or upbeat music to fit the vibe of the place they'd have more of a fun vibe. Not that there is anything wrong with Spanish music, it just wasn't jiving with the vibe of the place and was so low and not so up beat (romantic Spanish ballads were playing). The laminated menus also gave an old diner vibe instead of trendy "serendipity" vibe. I'll still come back to see if they can match the vibe to the decor and try a few other menu items, but I do hope they up the ambiance. And get that extra star status!

Our breakfast was good. One thing is certain: this place was nothing special; it's simple food. We did order the spectacular Mimosa for 4 people. It was large. The bad thing is that the glass is full of ice and the Mimosas got watered down, too much. Today Sunday they had a Duet playing music a nice touch, if you're sitting in the back music is hard to hear. My favorite was the Mimosa. Should try it.

But after not having a Cobb salad for almost 7 years (probably even more), I was craving something incredibly....... boring? But this was not.
