What friendly staff and delicious tea! I've come here on two occasions within the past month - and for living more than 90 minutes away, I'd say that's pretty impressive. Cute little shop with some indoor seating! I appreciate that they actually have LARGE cups! As an only tea drinker, I hate the places that specialize in gourmet coffee - and then have itty bitty cups for all beverages. C'mon people - this is tea. Tea needs hot water! Tea needs to brew! Lucky 7 does a great job with their large beverages, which means there's ample room for steamed milk. Highly recommend! 2026: 60/100 read more

This is a nice coffee shop located along Hermosa Ave and I really enjoyed my iced Cafe de Olla from here! It was nice and balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. The barista helping me and making the drink promptly served my drink, being very courteous while helping me. There's available seating inside and out, so you have options. I was able to enjoy my drink peacefully inside the shop. I look forward to returning to Lucky 7 when I can! read more

The person assisting me was so sweet and gave guidance on which drink was right for me! She was so sweet and helpful - great energy and vibe. The dirty cacao latte is strong (which is how I like it) but add sweetener if needed. Great to take your coffee and stroll down the beach. read more

I was looking for a cute cafe near the beach, so I came here. I liked all the seating, and the menu had more creative and fun drinks which I always love to try. I got a strawberry matcha and it was $12 with tip so that says a lot, but it was good just not as sweet as I like but for 9$ without tip I'm not sure it's worth it. The vibes in here were also off like the lady working seemed off and it was empty inside. Cute little local coffee shop just south the pier. Lots of options. I opted for the Dirty Cocoa Latte. It's ceremonial grade cocoa with shots of espresso. When cocoa is processed into chocolate it losses a lot of the health benefits. So great way to skip the sweet processed syrups and get something healthy that still tastes great. I opted for pistachio milk which is one of my favorites. No bitterness from the espresso. Definitely will be back to try some of the other coffee and match options. Paid $8 for a small coffee and experienced awful quality and service. My black coffee was served room temperature. When I asked for a hot replacement, the employee reheated it and added water, leaving it lukewarm and diluted. The third attempt was hot but completely tasteless. Meanwhile, my food went cold and my iced latte melted into a watery mess while waiting. The staff was too busy to care or even offer to reheat the food. Avoid this place--completely lacks customer service and value. read more

It is a cute place. They have your standard $100 clothing for sale in the front. I found the lighting to be too dim on a dreary June Gloom morning. The basket lamps with tiny bulbs in the front do not offer much light. Most customers just ordered coffee to-go, very few people stayed and no one else ordered food that I saw. They were playing some beautiful, relaxing jazz music but the person working there was watching Tiktok/Reels on their phone and listening at a loud volume without headphones. That definitely deteriorated the ambiance. I had planned to stay awhile but listening to an employee/manager listen to videos was not relaxing to me. I ordered the "breakfast burrito" and I would not recommend it. They did not use tortilla, instead it was more of a pastry crust? Also it came out burned? I only ordered it because I was hungry and it was the cheapest food item ($17). I can't say I've ever had a "bad" breakfast burrito but this might have been it. I would have been better off walking to Brothers or a few more blocks to Bolt to get a tastier and cheaper breakfast burrito. However, since I was looking for food, I probably wasn't their target audience read more

this is just based on the taste of the Barbie latte. It was described as a double shot espresso with strawberry milk and vanilla. it honestly tasted just like a regular latte and wasn't very sweet or had a lot of vanilla or strawberry flavor. The shop itself is very cute and small and they sell other little things other than coffee/pastries. the service was great as the cashier/barista was very nice and attentive, I just wish I asked for more sweetener or something for the latte. read more

Cute little coffee shop that serves breakfast and brunch items near the beach! The interior ambiance is clean and spacious, but intimate in size. There's a few small tables and a larger table with a bench for seating, so definitely come with a small group max. The coffee is a bit watered down, perhaps because about half the cup is filled with ice. The flavor is strong and a little bitter; definitely a good wake up call! The crossaint sandwich is so delicious! The buttery, flaky crossaint holds the ingredients together so well (but be careful of holding the sandwich too vertically; the avocado may slide all the way to the back!). It's packed to the brim with yummy vegetables and a fluffy folded egg. It's a bit expensive ($14). Overall, I'm glad I found this cute breakfast spot by Hermosa beach! read more

Super cute little coffee spot! They have merch for sale which is super cute too. I love that the owner supports other businesses and has tons of different business cards for guests to take. You might just get lucky (no pun intended ) and find what you're looking for! The drinks. Tried their lavender matcha but I wasn't a fan. Their iced coffee was okay. However, I am starting to wonder if the espresso shots were fresh or not, because my drink was rather bitter. And I don't mean, strong, because I ordered 3 shots of espresso. I love espresso. Not the best Turkish coffee I've ever had. It was very grainy, which I understand Turkish coffee may have some grains in it, but in my experience they typically settle down. I felt like each sip had a bit of grains in it from the beginning. It was a very cute shop & the barista was very nice. I would give it another chance & go back to try a different cup of coffee, but I was not happy with the Turkish coffee. read more

It's in a much busier beach area, especially on weekends and there are a lot of parking meters, so parking can be more of a hassle. All cops in do hermosa is print out parking citations & DUI's so stay cautious on the meter and don't drink & drive. Overall, I still recommend Brothers Burrito. I'd say try it for yourself. It may not blow you away, but when you want something quick, affordable and filling, it definitely does the job. Make sure to eat it with the green mild salsa, its great btw!

Thankfully, that employee is no longer there, but the overall attitude still hasn't fully improved. I've been bringing my two dogs with me for a long time without any issues. Recently, I was told I can't use the bathroom anymore--even just to quickly wash my hands before eating. I understand rules about dogs not being allowed in certain areas, and that was explained properly, but the way everything was handled felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. Because of this shift in attitude, I've noticed other customers have stopped coming as well, like Alex and Trisha. Some people have even mentioned that the overall environment and customer treatment aren't as good as they used to be. It's disappointing, because this used to be a place I really liked. Now it feels like the attitude has changed, and not in a good way.

The problem was, she brought it to me in a to-go container. They brought my wife's quiche out on a plate, our lattes in mugs, so why was there any confusion? We never ordered anything to-go! From that, we had to go inside and ask for silverware, a plate, and all of that kind of stuff. Just an annoying waste of time! This may seem like a small thing. And, it is. But, this stuff has been going on a lot lately. They really need to get their staff under control, get them listening to their customers, and bring their customers what they ordered. The other problem I have with this place is that it has become overrun with flies. It's really annoying! I mean, we were just batting flies away from our table the whole time we were sitting there. As were a lot of other people. Looking at the open tables and chairs, there were flies just resting on them. I realize this is not their fault. And there's probably nothing they can do about it. But, it's really becoming an annoying experience to eat here, not only in terms of service but in terms of flies. They really need to clean up their act.
