This has been one of my go-to coffee shops! The drinks are good and it's fun to see what seasonal drinks they have. My favorite drink from here would have to be the Banana Cream Mocha. Recently, I tried one of their seasonal drinks: the Very Strawberry Cream. There's strawberry foam on top with strawberry jam around the cup. I really loved the combination of all the flavors, but I would ask for less of the jam next time. Parking is super easy to find, there is a bathroom, reliable wifi. I love interacting with the staff. They're all really nice. I saw one of the baristas run out to their car once and then came back to give their pokemon cards to one of the kiddos in the cafe. It was such a sweet interaction to see. The cafe itself is also really cute! A few tables to work or catch up with a friend. Highly recommend!
Coffee shop was good. The temperature of the hot coffee was warm, would have liked it hotter. The staff were polite. The ambience was clean and contemporary. The prices were on the higher side. I was hoping the experience would be a little more luxe than it was. Everything was good, was looking for something special.
This drink completely blew my expectations out of the water--perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. The banana crisps and banana cold foam were executed to perfection. Huge shoutout to the barista for the incredible recommendation! Plus, the atmosphere was electric with a charming, dainty aesthetic. Highly recommend!
Amazing coffee, discovered it a few weeks ago and I keep coming back for more , quality coffee and love that I can easily order via app , the place itself is is small but cozy everytime I come in daytime weekday it's a bit hard to find a place to sit people come in to work for hours, I am just a mom looking for a quick break from my kids when running errands , the pastries are also very yummy I love the apple turnover made in house , only negative thing is their front door it's obviously broken and very heavy I am afraid I will get hurt please repair it (I have an injury and recently had surgery )
I have been meaning to try this place for a while and I finally did. The coffee shop has ample amounts of seating inside, and they also have a decent amount of outdoor seating. I love that they offer coffee flights which is always fun to sit around and try. I order a strawberry coffee off the summer menu and it was amazing. So good that I went back 2 days later for another one; the employees were also very kind during mobile pick up.

Wanted to try a coffee shop in the area that wasn't a chain, and I was delighted to stumble upon Redshift. They're located right off of a major freeway, so in terms of location, I thought it was convenient! Parking was easy and no issues, even in a weekend! Woohoo! Didn't want anything too sweet, so the barista recommended the Oat Vanilla Latte. I will say that I was surprised and disappointed when I asked for my drink to be extra hot, and the staff worker said they were unable to do that. Unfortunately, that was enough for me to be turned off, cause sure enough, as soon as I got my drink, it was hot, but not as hot as I would like my hot drink especially on a cold day. And for the cost, not sure I would come back. It's definitely cute inside, and a great place to meet up with friends or for a day date, but other than that, not sure I'd pay that much for a not so hot drink. Next time, I'll try an iced one!
Customer service was average. Place has limited seating and most tables were taken. Not too loud, but definitely a baby making some unusually peculiar noises (probably should get that checked out.) Decaf oat latte with house made caramel. Wife said it was above average. Oat Vanilla latte was good (those are vanilla bean, not black pepper like my son says?!) I like their roast. I would say with all the great coffee places nearby, that I wouldn't revisit this place. But it was good nonetheless.
A nice quiet place to hang out. Thoughtfully made drinks and food items. Quick and friendly service. I had the banana cream mocha drink. It needs a stronger banana flavoring. My first sip was pure coffee. Nice presentation of the drink though.
Redshift Coffee Roasters is a nice place to pick up a cup of bougie-priced coffee. When I'm paying $6 for a latte, I would like to taste the unique notes of the bean. This is just my preference, though, as not everyone is looking to taste flavored notes in their coffee. Don't get me wrong, the latte was not bad, it was just a basic latte where I could hardly taste the coffee. I also didn't like how they don't list out what is in their specialty coffees such as their Bumble Coffee and RAF. I was pretty disappointed to find out what they are as it is just flavorings added to the espresso. Again, not my preference to flavor up my lattes that compete with the lackluster coffee taste. I do see the appeal of this place being that it's the only "fancy" coffee shop around, so if you're looking for a bougie coffee place while trying to escape the over populated Starbucks. This place is for you.
My go-to morning coffee spot! The staff are wonderful and truly love their craft. I'm always curious about their unique latte names, and the knowledgeable team is great at giving recommendations. Don't skip the food--the salmon bagel and avocado toast are fantastic. Highly recommended!

Ok I saw their peach matcha on the menu and knew I had to have it. The matcha lived up to all my expectations and I literally transcended this drink was life changing. Vibes inside are super cute and the baristas are so sweet too! Can't wait to come here again for my next fix read more

This coffee at Redshift Coffee Roasters is one the best-tasting lattes I've had! The espresso is very smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced, with none of the burnt or overly bitter flavor (Starbucks!). It tastes excellent on its own! I had tried with regular milk and oat milk, it tastes excellent. You can clearly taste the freshness and quality of beans in every sip. It definitely worth coming back! read more
We don't live in the area, but my SIL a true coffee enthusiast, recommended this place since it was one of the few spots still open later in the day. And wow, it did not disappoint! I got the oat vanilla latte and it was so good .. smooth, flavorful, and gave me just the wake-up I needed. They roast their own beans in-house the same day, which you can totally taste in the quality. We were hoping to buy a bag to take home but bummer... they were sold out! If we're ever in the area again, we'll absolutely be stopping by. A hidden gem for sure! read more

A modern coffee shop with house-roasted beans and unique drinks like the RAF. A nice size coffee shop with ample seating, the music is but a gentle breeze in the background created a relax type of vibe to enjoy your coffee and perhaps study or work. The staff is kind and knowledgeable about their menu. They put care into their products to ensure top quality. I ordered their Vanilla RAF Coffee. It is very smooth, and creamy, tasted really good and no overtones of being too sweet. read more
This is a great café. I was craving matcha and this place had so many good options. I ordered the Peach Blossom Matcha, which was floral and sweet. I also tried the Honey Lemon Matcha, which was refreshing and not too sweet. Both drinks had a strong and authentic matcha flavor. Redshift Coffee Roasters in Lake Forest, CA is a family-owned business that originated from Russia. They specialize in coffee roasts and they offer a unique menu. The girl at the register was so sweet and everyone behind the Coffee making station looked as though they were working their craft with perfection. They have a few tables as well as a window counter with high chairs. The space feels fresh and pleasant. I had the Vanilla flavored Raf Coffee. The Raf Coffee is a popular Russian coffee drink known for its thick, creamy texture and sweet taste. The Coffee was really good and It turned out to have the perfect amount of sweetness. I believe that they use a Vanilla sugar as opposed to an artificial sweetener. It is Healthier and tastier. The prices are average. I really like this place. I came by because a friend recommended it. The shop is a good size, with available seating on the side. The staff was nice. We ordered the matcha latte and peach blossom matcha. Overall the matcha didn't feel too powerful. When I return, I do want to try the coffee. I just didn't want to get coffee since I went in the afternoon. read more
This menu is very unique! Like orange juice with espresso and carbonated coffee unique. I got the Raf Vanilla coffee because I wasn't feeling adventurous. My sister got the OJ espresso (Bumble Coffee) and didn't end up liking it haha - so you're taking a risk with some of these. They also sell their own beans, pastries, and merch. The thing that really stood out was the amazing service. The sweet woman at the counter was SO helpful in educating us on their menu items and overall just so so so kind. Thank you!! First time. Tried following: * Bumble Coffee (Iced coffee + orange juice) - Smooth coffee taste with slight acidity. If you like both then its a good unique choice. * Lavender Latte with Oat milk - Nice flavors. Not artificial tasting. Perfectly sweetened the way it is. Overall drinks we tried were solid. Redshift is my go to coffee spot. Gosh the coffee drinks just hit for me every time! I always order an iced vanilla latte with oat milk and add raspberry cold foam. Every time it comes out 10/10... the shop itself is beautiful and you can tell the baristas and owners pour so much love into their coffee . Absolutely LOVE this place! Their coffee drinks are unlike any other shop in South Orange County. They do their research and are true connoisseurs of great quality, creative coffee. I ordered the "raf coffee" which was suggested to me by the barista and sooo deliciously creamy and comforting. They also serve yummy fresh pastries. I love their shop in Lake Forest so I am thrilled they are now in RSM too! read more

We loved this coffee shop! The banana creme mocha is to die for! Creamy, refreshing, not too sweet, perfect consistency in the banana cream, just amazing. They definitely got this one right! 10/10. I'm so glad this place opens early! I dropped off my sister off the train station and was intending to stay for a short while after buying coffee beans for family. It was a Joyful delight to discover that there is a current deal going on where you're offered a free handcrafted drink for buying coffee beans! So I received a matcha latte, and got further blessed by an awesome seahorse latte artwork. There is a good amount of seating available for work, study, and conversations. WiFi is readily available and bathrooms are easily accessible. The lighting is warm. Parking is also quite ample. The service is kind and I really appreciated the whole environment. read more

Got a delicious matcha here with strawberry cold foam! Now I don't know what they put in their strawberry cold foam to make it taste so decadent and fresh but it has like the freshest strawberry flavor I've ever tasted. I have tried their Matcha and coffee. I would say I prefer their Matcha drinks way over their coffee because I personally do not like the sour after taste (from certain coffee shops). Additionally, They whisk their Matcha instead of premixing it as well, which I liked and appreciated it very much! Another thing is they open at 6:30am, and it is perfect for me since I usually leave my place and go to work around that time. Interior of the coffee shop is neat, quiet, clean and nice! The reason why I give 3 stars instead of 5 because of their portion size. I would say 60% of the drink from the Matcha I got was ice, and their pricing vs the size is on the pricier side. FYI, I have tried many coffee shops in south OC since I love coffee and Matcha. If you do not mind the price tag, I recommend this place especially their Matcha drinks! They offer some unique Matcha flavors. read more

Yummy coffee!!! Today I tried a strawberry latte which is a seasonal flavor. I asked them to make it less sweet. It was absolutely delicious they use strawberry puree NOT fake syrup! The strawberry flavor did a delicate dance on my taste buds at the conclusion of every sip. The strong coffee flavor was dominant and very enjoyable since it was not overly bitter and acidity was just right. Well done! Service was prompt and attentive. read more

Bookmark it!!!! A solid 4.5 star coffee shop! The vanilla latte was delicious and HOT! They use organic milk which I love! The service could be more friendly but I think the owners are young and it is their first business. The atmosphere is super relaxed and cute. We decided to stop by Redshift Coffee Roasters after lunch at Pizza 900 nearby, which, by the way, has officially made it to my top tier pizza list. I asked for recommendations and went with the Peach Blossom Matcha with oat milk instead of regular milk. It includes lavender syrup, and honestly, it was phenomenal, perfectly balanced in flavor and aroma. The floral lavender blended beautifully with the earthy matcha, the best lavender matcha latte I've had so far. It was refreshing, very smooth, and unique. My boyfriend ordered their new seasonal Banana Cream Mocha, and he absolutely adored it. It had a natural banana flavor, none of that artificial aftertaste, and the mocha complemented it so well. Both drinks were at just the right sweetness level, not too heavy or sugary. The coffee place itself had a clean, spacious setup with a calm, minimal aesthetic. Service was friendly and quick. Overall, the place had a relaxed vibe that made it easy to sit and chat for a while. We'll definitely be coming back to try more drinks soon. read more
Redshift Coffee Roasters is a calm luh spot definitely worth checking out if you are in the area. This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they have a nice modern and minimalistic interior with about 7-8 tables for seating. As for their menu, they have a solid selection of different signature, classic, coffee, and tea drinks along with some food items too. Wifey and I stopped by for our weekend matcha run and opted to try the Summer Matcha Tonic, Matcha Latte, and a Spinach & Feta Pastry. We enjoyed the subtle notes of the drinks and the balance of sweetness. Overall, this spot has a great cozy ambiance and a solid selection of drinks. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Come check them out and show some love! read more

I am a big fan of mom and pop coffee shops. I was on my way to Forest Lane for a couple of bowling tournaments and absolutely needed my caffeine. I stopped by Redshift to get my latte and it did not disappoint. The menu is classic and clever via their signature selections. Freshly baked pastries were in the case but I had already eaten breakfast and will try next time Parking was easy. There is a lovely indoor seating area. Service was great. They cannot use your own cup. Please come visit to create your own experience. read more

Pros: - Ambience is clean and nice - baristas were friendly - lot of seating - served dine-in drinks in glassware - banana mocha was very rich and exactly what you expect Cons: - really wanted to like the matcha but i don't know if it was just today but it tasted just like milk with little to no matcha flavor at all. after seeing all the great reviews on matcha I thought it would be better. I really wanted to like this place more, especially after seeing others' reviews, but they unfortunately didn't quite meet expectations. My girlfriend and I stopped by during my lunch break. Upon entering, the cafe was pretty spacious and had lots of cool merch. When we ordered our matcha flight and sandwich, I appreciated that the barista let us know it'd be about 10 minutes. Our sandwich was incredible, I loved the crisp and the cheese they used. Our flight on the other hand wasn't incredible. They primarily tasted like milk and there wasn't a discernible difference in taste. At least it was pretty! But I wish the barista or menu let us know the different flavors, rather than us guessing read more
