This used to be our go to place. From the very beginning, Vanessa was really snarky (the hostess) about seating us. It is so cold in the restaurant that they have heaters, but they gave us a hard time about sitting somewhere else. Then it just got worse from there. Salad with dressing on the side was overdressed. We waited over an hour to get water. I'm so sad that we have to write a bad review, but people have a choice of where to eat out now- pretty soon nobody will come out anymore. This generation needs to learn to do their job instead of dialing it in. Especially kids in their 20s and 30s. Also there was a lot of in fighting with the staff as well. I'm sure it's a millennial thing but hard working people don't deserve this attitude. It's ridiculous. Kids need to grow up! read more

Really good happy hour menu! We got the pulled pork sliders, flat bread and truffle fries, all of which were really good and reasonably priced. Shannon was our server, she was really friendly and happy to take our pictures too. We got a glass of wine and a beer which was good too. Went for our first time, which unfortunately may be our last. Food was good but OMG not worth the prices they're putting out there. I thought I'd try the carrot bologenese. I believe it was listed as a $23 Entree. Man, they brought me what looked like a side of pasta that I finished literally in less than 2 minutes. For that reason alone..not worth going back. The outdoor bar did catch my eye, unfortunately it was closed since it was a little chilly. If I knew my entree would have been so small..I wouldn't have spent that money on more beer. read more

The cheese fondu app was runny gross cheese. Wouldn't even stick to the bread crumbs. I got the prime rib. Was very fatty( over 1/2 of it) which I would have been fine with but it had no flavor either. I e had this dish there before and it was good. Two stars for our server. read more

I have nothing at all to complain about; our server (René) also got us in/out witching 45 minutes, as we were in a rush for a movie. We ordered a house salad to share, margherita flatbread, and a French dip. Expensive but delicious. The salad was dressed heavily, but in a very delicate vinaigrette. The flatbread was a large portion and delicious. I wish the au jus for the French dip was hot, but the fried horse radish was really unique. We'll come back. read more

I tend to be little skeptical of chain restaurants but this was surprisingly good.I had a fried chicken sandwich that was tender and tasty. My companions were also pleased with their meals. This was Sunday brunch and I'm not a brunch person. But much of the menu is made up of lunch items . So I could have a sandwich with good French fries and one of my party could have pancakes. I had a Bloody Mary which was accompanied by olives , celery, cheese and a slice of bacon. Gimmicky but enjoyable. They also have beer on tap and I had a Kane IPA. They are too thin, and the flat bread is too hard. We ordered the bang bang shrimp and the baked Brie with poached pear for appetizers. Both were just ok. I thought the bang bang shrimp would have more of a kick to it, but it didn't. For entree I ordered my usual crab cakes entree, and I always sub the fries for Mac and cheese. We also ordered the parmesan encrusted halibut with angel hair pasta. The crab cakes were delicious as always, but this time instead of giving me my usual full side of Mac and cheese. They gave me a teeny tiny side of Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was very good, but was much too small! The halibut was too dry to be enjoyed, but the linguini in a sweet pepper cream sauce was so good! For dessert I ordered the chocolate chip in a skillet and a dessert special which was a pink champagne cake. The chocolate chip in a skillet was delicious as usual! The pink champagne cake was HORRIBLE! The cake was all dried out and hard as a brick, and the frosting was overly sweet! I'm quite shocked they would even serve this dessert to customers! Just left the restaurant. The cocktails are very good and reasonably priced. However the food is lacking in very many aspects. Chicken was very dry and not very flavorful for a Nashville hot sandwich. The chicken also tasted like it was fried in old oil and the breading was actually very disgusting tasting to be honest. Garlic mashed potatoes were dry. The kids grilled cheese tasted like stale bread. The "fruit salad" had unripe strawberries. Which in the winter is understandable but don't serve it. Asparagus was just charred. There was NO seasoning. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you want JUST a cocktail. The bartender is on point. My husband and I decided on a recent Friday evening to try this place. I did reservations, although upon getting there we discovered we probably didn't need them. Located on the "backside" of the Bridgewater Mall it was a bit challenging to find it at first. The ambiance is so nice once inside - warm, dark, cozy but tall ceilinged and lively. A nice fireplace stands across from the hostess stand, I'm sure very welcoming on chilly Sunday Brunch days, or winter nights. We were treated warmly, seated and the hostess told us who our waiter would be, offered to get us drinks and told us a few of her favorites on the menu. Our waiter arrived promptly. We ordered the tuna tartar to share - it was very good - but for folks like me who have to watch spicy food the coating on the edges made it tough to finish my "half". We both ordered seafood for entrees - he got the sea bass - very very good! Cooked perfectly - some places dry it out by overcooking. I had the lobster-shrimp cakes - so much!! wow!! But yet again, there was a heavy hand with the spice - I got through 1 and a half before I had to stop. Our friendly waiter had let us know, by the way, that this is a scratch kitchen. So you may have a tiny longer wait than you are used to, but that means your food will be fresh. We opted for the house special dessert - a deconstructed banana cream pie - soo soooo soooooo good!! FALL OFF THE BONE!!! Today was my first day here and for 20 years I have been eating almost at every place in New Jersey with ribs, this place makes Famous Dave's look like a fool. But seriously this was the best rack of ribs I have ever had in my life. Moist, hot, so tasty with sauce. Love the hot towels as well, so you can be as messy as you want. THIS PLACE IS A MUST TRY!! If you want appetizer as well the Buffalo wings were phenomenal!! Sorry could not get better pick I was just so so excited and eager. I would definitely give Redstone 4 stars based on our experience. My boyfriend and I came for an early dinner on a Saturday - early like 5:30ish early. Feel free to judge but we had an appointment at the Apple store so had to get in and get out fairly quickly! Our waitress was super sweet and everything was brought out timely according to order. To start, we went for the calamari special which was to DIE for. I literally couldn't stop eating it. For dinner my boyfriend had the Prime Dip sandwich. He seemed to really like it but got full pretty quickly - it was a lot of bread and meat! Not necessarily a bad thing. I decided to take a risk and go for the General Tso Turkey burger. It exceeded my expectations, turkey burger drenched in General Tso sauce and topped with broccoli slaw and grilled onions. I literally couldn't put it down (either I have a problem and/or food is just really good). My only complaint is that it took a long time to get our check and that mattered a lot since we were on a time crunch (to the waitress' credit, we hadn't told her about the time crunch). We just figured when we asked for the check it would have arrived soon after. Since that was not the case, my boyfriend headed out to make the Apple store appointment and I stayed behind to take care of the bill. This place is definitely a step up as far as mall restaurants go and is also accommodating for those interested in sporting events - there are literally multiple TVs on every wall. So Disappointed. lol So let me start out by saying I have not visited this restaurant personally. I felt compelled to write this review because I was so disappointed in the soup I asked my daughter to bring home for me. It is Valentine's Day and I really didn't want to go out on a Friday night on Valentine's Day and wait to be seated. I went through the menu and asked my daughter who did go in and sit down to please bring me some Shrimp & Corn Soup/Chowder. I literally just tasted it and after finding not even 1 shrimp or even 1 piece of shrimp. It is in a very small Container & I even poured it into a larger bowl to pick through it and see if I could at least find a shrimp. Nope! There was nothing but a large amount of potatoes & a small amount of corn. The rest was potato. The soup didn't taste freshly made at all. It was absolutely NOT worth $9.00. Redstone lost a customer tonight (1/12) and it's not due to the horrible dinner we had- it's because of the disrespectful manager. The ribeye steaks were difficult to eat because of how fatty they were. My son ate the majority of his, but my husband left 75% of his being all rubbery fat. The waitress sent over the manager and he strongly implied that we were lying. He said that it wasn't all fat that we left and I said it was and that we couldn't eat it. Again, the manager insisted that if was edible. The fact that he was arguing with us is beyond disgusting. We didn't want money off the bill-we thought it appropriate that they throw in a dessert on the house. Well, the manager said no. The bill came and $10 was taken off our bill, I guess the manager reflected on his actions, but the damage was already done. BTW- my red snapper was over cooked and dry as well. Love the ambiance here & the outdoor seating was lovely. Our server was so kind & helped me navigate the menu to see what options that would be most suitable for my vegan preference. Unfortunately, they sold out of what I was looking forward to most - bang bang cauliflower. My boyfriend was looking forward to a turkey burger but that too, was sold out. He however, could not resist the hughly recommended buffalo shrimp, which you can tell they make their own buffalo sauce for. I asked our server if the chef was able to make a vegan friendly meal but was informed that he can adjust any of the menu options to our liking instead. So, I ended up odering the flatbread that I thought would be decent for my dietary preference but, it was just crispy bread, tomato, & shredded basil leaves. *shrugs shoulders* I do expect these things but not from a restaurant with a chef. My boyfriend ended up getting salmon which was half the size of the photos we saw on yelp & said that it was just mediocre. I'm still full from brunch and I'm already thinking about when I'll go back. Our reservation for a party of 10 quickly grew to a party of 14, and the manager and staff were very accommodating with alternate seating arrangements. They were gracious and patient, seating our party and growing numbers of guests arriving for brunch. Our server, Freddy, was friendly, funny, and attentive. He made sure every one in our group, especially my mom who was celebrating her birthday, was pleased with their order and his service. The cast iron-baked cornbread was delicious! We sat in a booth inside to view the decor since it was the first time eating here for both my friend and I. Had a red sangria made straight from the bar. It was good. My friend had a French martini, which she said they made pretty well. I ordered the rotisserie turkey sandwich. It came out on multigrain bread, juicy turkey, American cheeses, tomatoes, with a delicious dressing. Complimenting the meal was a side of fresh cole slaw. A hearty lunch to say the least. We also indulged in dessert. We shared the raspberry lemon cake. Had no idea it would be the size of three "normal" slices of cake put together! It was ginormous! Four small pieces of bread and two strips of bacon and a very small fruit cup was $13.00 each. Two iced teas for $6.00. The place looks nice but unfortunately the food was very disappointing and overpriced. We got the Parmesan shrimp and calamari for an appetizer; there was no flavor to the shrimp or calamari, but at least it came with a sauce to add some flavor to your bite. There were also fried hot peppers which I liked a little. The calamari looked like fries, it was the strangest calamari I'd ever seen. If it even was calamari. For dinner, my wife got the 14 oz prime rib and I got the 16 oz bone in ribeye. The worst prime rib we've ever had, and we've had a lot of prime ribs from a wide range of places. Irish bar to high end steakhouses. This was by far the worst. It didn't even look like a prime rib. It looked like a regular old steak. Very dry and lacking any flavor. Just tasted burnt. The au jus did not help at all. It also was maybe a half inch thick and looked smaller than 12 oz prime ribs we've gotten. Severely disappointing. It also cost more than the prime rib from a chain like Longhorn, and longhorn's tastes way better. It cost more than one from our local Irish pub, which is significantly better than this one and it's not even anything crazy good. The ribeye was probably the fattiest ribeye I've ever had and most difficult to eat. I've had fatty ribeyes before, but they are made so well that it just melts in your mouth. This was probably the toughest steak I've ever had. They under cooked it too, I requested medium rare but it was more rare. There was no flavor to it other than the burnt taste from the grill. Adding salt didn't even help. I had to mix bites with the mashed potatoes to help me get thru it. The potatoes were ok. Both meals came with green beans also, which happened to be the best tasting item. They actually had some flavor to them. For a $44 ribeye, I expect way better. The service was fine. Our waitress was nice. A little slow at the end, which got annoying since we were very disappointed with our meal and just wanted to get out of there. They have other items on the menu that may be good, but based on our experience with the steaks we will never go back. Overpriced and flavorless. read more

This was a horrendous experience! I was told to go to them for my birthday & got a Soggy appetizer And meal & so did my daughter! The veggies were obviously re-heated the plate was sizzling hot from likely being reheated on a heat lamp ‍ I'm even wondering if that dish were not made for another patron & perhaps they ALSO turned it down & I got their leftovers I still have a blister that's healing from the skin that peeled off the side of my pinky finger - I put neosporin on it at home - & band aid & have been & it's still not totally healed - I hope that doesn't leave a scar on my hand The food took ages to come & even the drinks and starters/appetizers - I ordered my child and i RARELY go out as it's expensive- so I saved for this as i am single mother, so we can't afford to treat ourselves that often I hope whatever is going on over there has a chance to improve & something reconstructive comes about from this - clients would prefer freshly prepared entrees and nothing reheated & starters as well - I couldn't afford another place after that - so I had hell getting into work that morning & worked all day - finally got out of work, went to get my daughter so we could have fun & that was it - I ended up coming home and giving a meal like that to neighborhood stray animals and cooked her & i something else to eat at 9 at night,then all that cleaning up after I want in bed until midnight I was not planning a n cooking as I hadn't taken anything out of freezer - so I had to stop at supermarket & buy food to then cook & clean up after - it is what it is - hopefully things improve there soon no one is perfect I hope others don't have this happen to them read more

Have dined in all three of the Redstone American Grills in the Minneapolis area multiple times. It was always my go to place for a great meal - never disappointed. Had lunch this past Thursday at the Bridgewater NJ location and must say my experience here falls way short of what I had come to expect. Food quality was sub par. My wife ordered the Signature Prime Dip sandwich and she took one bite before pushing it away and leaving the remainder. She claimed that the sandwich was way too greasy and was totally disappointed. I tasted it myself and agreed. I ordered the Buffalo Jumbo Shrimp and they were just okay. Not even close to the cooking preparation I had enjoyed at the Twin Cities locations. Also noticed that price for this meal was same but portion size shrunk from 5 shrimp to 4. No issues at all with our service. Michele was our waitress and she was wonderful. read more

A minute later she came back & told us that she spoke to the manager & the manager allowed us to share.... whatever. We waited about 20 mins for these tiny burgers. At this point we were waiting for something extravagant. Got the burgers & they were just okay. ALL of that for just some OKAY burgers. As we're finishing up these messy burgers, our waitress comes over & asks which ones we like. We tell her we like the first 2 & she asks for the little signs which at this point were covered in egg yolk, cheese sauce, lettuce strings & ketchup. I pick them up & hand them right to her (she should have told us that the little signs were going to be used as votes, & we would have kept them cleaner), she grabs my fiancé's napkin, wipes them clean & walks away. Haven't been here since the beginning of Covid, and I have to say that it is just as I had remembered it. A beautifully sophisticated and modern restaurant with quality food. For me appetizer, my fried and I had the Classic Fondue and the Sweet & Spicy Calamari. The fondue had been presented in a pretty interesting way, as a small molten pot of cheese, with an assortment of fresh and fried vegetables fresh fruit on the side for dipping, and a cute little candle on the bottom. The calamari was pretty good, crunchy and balanced, but my specific one was a little overcooked. For my entrée, I had the Cajun Seafood Pasta, which had a decent amount of intensity for its flavor and extremely juicy shrimp being mixed in. Overall, my meal was pretty good which is why I'm giving it 4 stars, but nothing that I had went above and beyond what I had been expecting, which is why I hadn't awarded it the extra star. read more

If i could give this place more than 5 stars i would. Our waitress Clara was wonderful. The manager stopped by the table to see how everything was and i respect that. The grilled wings were so so good. We inhaled them I'll be back just for them. I have coconut halibut and the portion was perfect. I'm so happy we stumbled on this place.
