My mom treated herself to the Ololliberry pie and house made vanilla bean ice cream. She was in heaven. Hubby had the Tri-tip Sando and sister ordered the beet and goat cheese salad. But they had kind of a generic look and feel to them, but the problem was they had zero flavor. Like nobody put salt on them when they took them out of the fryer. That's the first thing you do when you pull something out of a fryer, you season it. The server was nice enough, but they have a thing now where if you ask for water, they want to sell you a bottle of water. I get that things are tough for restaurants, but I almost rather pay a little more for the sandwich and get water, if you know what I mean. I'm no food expert, or running a restaurant expert, these are just my reactions as a local who stops in here fairly regularly. I think if the folks who run this place feel like there's any value to my little thoughts, they would be easy to fix and wouldn't cost anything at all really. I've been coming here for years, and I want these folks to do well.
