And as a dog owner, I did not bring my pup this time but saw a dog on the patio, which makes me thinks dogs are allowed. Our waitress was friendly and perfectly attentive. Had a great lunch at the outdoor bar on Sept 24th. The bartender was attentive and the BBQ sauce selection (6) was excellent. I tried all six on a little plate before my Pulled Pork sandwich arrived. I found two that I thought best suited my tastes for the day. The sandwich came with a choice of side, plus coleslaw and a dill pickle spear. I chose Garlic Mashed Potatoes as my side. Giving 2 stars only for the food which was actually 4 stars The service is really the 1 star. We were entertaining clients at a local Racine company and I couldn't be more unimpressed by the wait staff. We ordered drinks and starters and the once our order went in we didn't see out wait staff again (a theme that continues). We finally got our drinks at the time our starters were presented. We ate the starters and drank our initial drinks and she never came back. Unfortunately now my clients were drinking water out of thirst. She must have taken a break because 20 minutes later she showed up with the main plates. She tried shoving them onto the table shoving our appetizer plates aside on the table instead of simply clearing the previous crowded table. I literally had to clear the table by placing used glasses and plates on an empty table next to us. The worst part was for the rest of the time we were there we didn't see her again but I could see her 15 feet away from us with her back to us folding napkins or something. Without making a scene and calling for her in front of my clients I realized she had no interest in "serving". Horrible service! I would never go here again. read more

We had a good experience here. The service was great for us-our waitress was very attentive. I had the cucumber Moscow mule which was very refreshing. We had the cheese curds as an appetizer; they were good, but not the BEST I've ever had. I had the belle city cheeseburger which had more of the cheese curds on it. I also went for the parmesan garlic fries, and unfortunately those weren't anything special, I've had better. My boyfriend had some of the brisket and ribs, and definitely enjoyed the variety of sauces. I wouldn't say this was the absolute most amazing BBQ, but it is pretty good. I love the variety of the menu, as well as the coziness and decor of the restaurant. I would like to come back in the summer and enjoy the view and breeze of Lake Michigan. read more

This is my second second diner experience here. June 2nd 2018. the last stop was 1 year ago, not impressed then but ok. Today my wife wanted to go. There was a wedding and it was loud and busy by 5PM. Not there fault. but we were seated outside/ patio that was heated. They sat everyone who came in with us, we were smashed together, no privicy The waitress was nice but seemed so rushed, it came off as so fake. She looked like she she was involved a fight from the night before. injuries and had stains all over her shirt. Just saying to be honest. We ordered Two beers but with the wedding we waited about 12 mintues for our beers. My wife's beer was wrong, but did not want to make a deal out of it. The cheese curds were very good. The dinner came like 30 seconds later. ok ? I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with tots. The tots were awesome. the sandwich had bacon, pulled pork and cheese, great combo but needed sauce. The mushroom/ swiss burger was great, big and tasted great. My wife loved the burger. I loved mine. It was good. But I am paying top dollar for drinks and food but my beer is served with a bottle and plastic cup, for $4.50..... and my water is in a plastic cup. bill was $43.00 for two beers, two sandwiches and curds. alittle pricey. read more

This is my favorite restraint in racine. The food is amazing. Also, very reasonably priced. It's worth more than it cost in my opinion. Their food never fails to satisfy. My personal favorite is their burgers. Their customer service is stupendous. They are always polite, we are served quickly, and they go out of their way to make sure were pleased with the experience. This place is next to the marina. We sat out on a covered patio. Service was good but my friend ordered a Moscow Mule and it came in a plastic cup! And the beer I ordered was out so I had to make another choice. It was delivered in a can. I asked for a glass which is when we *finally* learned would have to be plastic due to patio rules. Nothing special about the food. Music on Saturday night was a decent cover band. Best thing about this place is its location on the lake. read more

Great view if you sit outside! Great service and Great beers! I had their seasonal craft cider beer--delicious! Good cheese curd app. Entrees we're ok. We shared the Mahi-mahi plate, eh, and the Cajun shrimp tacos, bleh. We really didn't care for either dish. The side of mac n cheese was yummy. They really deserve a three, but I gave them a star for location on a beautiful sunny day. Fried perch was tasty, panko a little bland. Smoked wings were good, could have been hotter in temp and taste. Buffalo is too mild! House salad was weak. Super wilted lettuce. Blue cheese tastes like they buy it pre-made, hated it. This place has good food but the orders got switched in the kitchen area. Our table of five had two orders wrong and it took over 15 additional minutes to prepare the food we were missing. At our table some of us were finished eating long before the last meal was even served. We spoke with the owner and he did not seem surprised that the orders were incorrect, and quite delayed. He seemed okay with that type of service and staff. He had no intention of making it right or anything. He had to finish talking to us in a hurry because a similar problem came up at a nearby table. We were nearly finished with our meal when our drinks arrived. This place is disorganized and the owner doesn't seem to care if his customers return or not. If service matters to you at all, you may want to try some other restaurant. read more

Great stuff. Arrived by boat, so this is crazy convenient AT the marina. Had planked salmon and some apple pie with a Spotted Cow. Live music in weekends apparently, so that's a bonus. Looks like locals hang out too, in addition to us dirty sailors. Downtown is great too, but for boaters checks all the boxes. read more

Ug. Food so-so. My husband had the jumbo shrimp, described it as jumbo batter, average size shrimp. Drinks ok, I had a Mojito. Atmosphere horrible: Heat index was over 100 and the AC was not properly working, or not set below 85. Sweat was dripping down my neck. Only 1 of the waitstaff was wearing a mask. I understand it was not mandated in MN but really, making and serving food w/o one? And then there was the flies. We had 2-3 landing on each of us at a time. When the waitress asked if there was anything else she could bring us, we asked for a fly swatter. In this setting I lost my appetite. I drank water after I finished the mojito, covering the glass with my hand to keep the flies off. Had a sandwich on our boat later. Next time we dock in Racine, we will take an Uber if we need to in order to eat somewhere else. read more

Went with a group after work on a Friday and we were not impressed! Service was horrible, we were seated at a plastic fold up banquet table outside out of sight of any server. Each time we ordered a beer it came in a different sized glass (even when ordering the exact same beer) and the explanation was that it was a "different bartender" or "it's a higher alcohol type of beer and you get less".....WHAT?! Server was nice but not good at her job. She seemed to disappear for around 30 minutes or so after ordering. Food was so-so at best. Had a portabello mushroom sandwich that was served on a stale bun and a minute size serving of cole slaw. Wings were ok. Overall, not a good experience. read more

I've been coming to brewhouse for the last four years since we moved here the food was exceptional we went tonight which is March 14 2020 and I knew from the appetizers that they changed the cook. I'm giving it 5 stars because we kept it simple. Burgers and tater tots, both of which were excellent. Service was great as well. In spite of the 2.5 star Yelp average at the time of this review, folks were streaming in the door. We were seated immediately. The total bill was $27, which included a glass of Guinness . A few heads ups: Despite the name, they do not make their own beer. If you have a Garmin Nuvi GPS, it will take you past this place. That place on the left with all the cars in the lot? That's it. Don't be intimidated by the stairs outside in the winter. There are stairs and an elevator inside. read more

The food was good, seafood ravs, 7, nice sauce, jambalaya, good and spicy, lobster roll was good, VERY spicy Brunswick stew that hubby said tasted like barbequed pulled pork. They were out of 2 favorite smoked meats by 5:30, brisket and pulled pork, also out of 2 specialty beers at that time too.The server was excellent, knew the menu, answered all questions. Now for the bad part, A/C wasn't working properly and it was 84 degrees in the dining room, totally ruined our meal. I've been advised it will be addressed. Terrible service. The outdoor bar (which must've just opened for the season) was already a mess and the bartender was slow unfriendly and not interested in trying to keep up. Then when one of the waitstaff "took" one of her tables because they sat 20 min without being served she argued with her and took the table back. I won't be back.
