I went here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and it was the perfect spot to dine. The scenery is lovely and the marina makes for a nice walk afterwards. Their menu has plenty to choose from; I even modified a food item and they were happy to accommodate me. The grilled cheese was on Texas toast and very good! My wife and I rather enjoyed this place, Great view of the harbor, wide-ranging menu, wide-ranging assortment of drinks... We will definitely be going back. I got the Wisconsin bloody mary which was a meal in and of itself, and the cheese curds that topped it off were outstanding. Great view. Our food was also very good. Service was a little slow and several of the beers we wanted to try on the menu weren't available. They do have a decent selection of beer available though so it wasn't too tough to find something else to drink. Finding exactly which door to go into to get to the hostess station was a bit confusing, but after a few minutes we figured it out. I do recommend for a mid-priced seafood meal. read more

Went to eat lunch Saturday 7/25/2020. Ate on the outside deck overlooking the marina. Our waitress Abby was amazing and very attentive!! Food came out quick and drinks nice and cold!! We had the Cheese soup to share. Then I had the Cranberry Turkey wrap and my husband had the Belle City Cheesesteak sandwich, both with fries. Everything tasted amazing and loved the sight!! Went there July 19th, very hot due to the outside temperature. Food was marginal. The worst was the band. 2 men, 2 women wearing 2" brim hats. Owner said this was one of his favorite bands. Things are different in Racine I guess. They were set up in the bar area which is probably 30' x 75'. There is no reason to have the instruments overly amplified especially the drums amplified in this environment. Bass, acoustic electric guitar and drums. Really blew out the house with noise. Cannot even have a conversation with the person 6" away. Painfully loud as all the bands there are. Don't waste your time, money and damage your hearing going there at night. Do a lunch. Never again for me and I have a boat in the marina! read more

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. Came on my birthday after a day at the Racine zoo. The service was very fast and the food was pretty good. They even gave me a birthday sundae to finish it off. My niece was happy with her grilled cheese but it was a bit burnt. The fish was fantastic and the fish fry is one that I would recommend to others. Had lunch on a Friday afternoon(7/18). The place was nearly empty so I expected service to be quick. To start, they were out of numerous beers and didn't notify us until after we ordered and the waitress went to the bar and notified us. When we ordered another beer we got the same result...3 times. The food was good...once we got it. It took close to 30 minutes. Did I mention the place was nearly empty? The service was slow and the waitress seemed to be underwhelmed about being at work. The server only came to our table to take the order, drop off the order and walked over after he saw me looking around for him 20 minutes after we were done eating. This place was good, but it's unfortunate that it isn't outstanding, given that it has the best view in Racine. Group of 6. We had to wait a bit to get a table, even though the place was mostly empty. Our hosts apologized prior to our eating there, stating that the place didn't have the best reputation, but that it was okay. Service was a bit on the slowish side. But, not too bad. Food was good - nothing special - just good. I would love to give this place 5 stars, if for nothing else but the view. YUCK! The food here is terrible! We ordered fish and had the blue gill. All the fish were the same size and in a triangle. You know right away that it is frozen fish. Some bite tasted nasty. I also had their "homemade" potato pancakes. They were thick and pasty. Not cooked all the way. I have eaten here before and it was bad that time too. I won't be going back to eat. They have a nice outside bar for a summer evening drink but stay away from the food! Gross. read more

Just would like to give an update on my previous review. Thought I would give this place another try... Guess what it still is as bad as I remember. Picture it like your ex girlfriend. Yea she's pretty on the outside but she's trash inside and now you remember why you hate her. That's a lot like how the food is here. Everytime it's something one meal takes longer and comes out cold, poorly cooked ect, or all the food is bad/wrong, service staff is hit or miss. Food was ok. Shrimp PO-boy had nearly no shrimp in it. Waitress Jordan was fun at first. Said we couldn't split the bill because we had 9 people, and said they had the ATM. None of us had cash, so we were fine with that. We eat. Went to the ATM which was out of order. We asked if she could make an exception since the ATM was out, wasn't our fault. Came for the first time for lunch today. We sat outside on the uncovered patio. The place was clean and organized, the steep stairs that you walk up are a little intimidating after a few beers but all was ok. We ordered the tater tot nachos and they were huge. Very well prepared but too much for two people. I will ask for a half order next time if they offer it. We ordered a few beers as they have a pretty extensive collection. They have a few beer choices that are brewed directly for them so that was cool. I ordered a half garden salad and the jalapeño Mac and cheese. My husband got the regular beer Mac and cheese as his side. I think his was better. Mine was good but a little velveta-ish for me. It was still good, don't get me wrong!! Our food was tasty and the portions are huge. Our waiter was very nice. He brought us out samples of beer that he suggested and checked on us periodically. Not good. We were there last night with a fairly big group. I ordered their Great Lakes Perch. It was over-breaded and dry. The Mac n cheese side was basically noodles with shredded cheese sprinkled on top. The coleslaw was good. My husband ordered a burger and he said it was dry and overcooked...he ordered "some pink". I was never asked if I wanted a 2nd drink. And, everyone at our table was asking for water all night. We didn't have enough silverware at our table. The staff was friendly. But, we won't be back. Very disappointed by the lack of service. After being seated we waited long enough to have our drink and food order ready. Our group mostly sat unattended to, which was fine until our food arrived.. long before our drinks.. having ordered bloodies, we expected to receive them before finishing our meal but we were wrong. This would normally be something I would look past, however our food orders were extremely wrong. When bringing this to our servers attention, she said we were wrong. Everyone's frustration grew exponentially having to remind her of the things we needed or were wrong. (Needed silverware, wrong kind of food brought, missing sides, and so on). Finally, our checks were brought and placed conveniently in a pile and the server was not returning. I went to discuss the concerns with the manager, who said I should have brought it up prior to paying. So I brought my bill (still not taken by the server) and handed it to the manager. Her response was she wouldn't do anything about our poor experience because we ate our food. So we will not be back. Ever. read more

It was a pleasant evening and we were seated outdoors overlooking the marina. It was a spectacular view! A colorful rowing crew went by on a training ride and that was a highlight! We ordered the salmon cakes as an appetizer and the smoked brisket tacos and bacon wrapped meatloaf as entrees. Everything was very fresh and delicious. The only problem was that all of the food was served at the same time. (We expected that the appetizer would be served prior to the main meal.) We also enjoyed a craft beer and a pomegranate martini. The drinks were adequate, however the martini was mostly juice and was a bit too sweet. Not much vodka there. I would have preferred a better proportioned cocktail. I was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding service in bringing out my carry out. I mentioned that the last time here, I had no bbq sauce and got no corn muffins. So they gave me a lot of sauce for my brisket and extra muffins. Their brisket is great, muffins are delicious and their Mac and cheese is rich and tasty. We sought out this establishment for the view. I am not sure that you can get a better view of Lake Michigan while you eat. On a positive note they had Spotted Cow on tap! The food was delicious. I had a burger and beer cheese Mac and cheese. My wife had the barbecue nachos. We both enjoyed our food. Now for the issues that held them up from more stars. The wait staff was untrained. They had a couple of guys walking around and apparently there only job was to fill the water at the waitress table. They should have been doing something for the servers. We waited 5 mins to get water, another 15 mins for our beers. Another hour and 10 mins to get our food. All in total we were there 2 hours. If you are not on a hurry, the food and the view are great. It should be noted that our server Micahann was excellent and very apologetic for the long wait from the kitchen. read more

Great location, good prices, okay food. Been here before and it's a great spot right on the peer. It's never busy throughout the weekdays (whether that's good or bad is your discretion) despite the most prime location imaginable on a peninsula surrounded by water on 3 sides. Food is mostly average. Was disappointed by the beer-cheese burger today, but BBQ platter was acceptable in the past. Service is pretty good, and bartenders have always been friendly. Not a bad spot to grab a drink if you're in town. read more

Great view, sports bar ambience. The Loaded Tots appetizer was fantastic and could easily have been my meal for the evening. I enjoyed the Three Little Pigs sandwich and the cole slaw was delicious. A good restaurant experience can be made or broken by a server and I want to do a special shout out to Mychelanne. She was a perfect server and made sure everything was fine without being at our table every five minutes. The only downside to the evening was O'Doull's as the only non-alcoholic beer selection. This was our first time "exploring Racine" and we really enjoyed our choice of the restaurant. It is off to the side (middle of no where) compared to the busy streets which we really like since we are country folks. We were seated right away with no reservations on the Saturday before Vday. Our waiter Caesar was great! He was patient with us, since it was our first time. He was very informative of the Vday specials and of the Craft beer bucket (everyone needs to get this). $17 for 5 craft beers is a steal!!! The beer selection was fabulous. We got pretzel bites (about 15-20 of them) for $6 that were tasty. I got a salmon dinner with dirty rice that was delicioys and my boyfriend got a BBQ dish (brisket and ribs) with two sides (mac and cheese and potatoes) both for $19 each. Our total dinner bill was $66 and we definitely had leftovers for another meal at home. As I mentioned Caesar did a great job, which made our experience even better. He did not stop by too often, but he offered us everything we needed. We plan on coming back in the future- especially for Trivia night :) read more

Great experience. We boated down from Bender Park and docked in front of the restaurant. They told us the wait would be about 45 minutes. It ended up being about 15 minutes. The drinks and food were delicious but took a long time as the kitchen got backed up. They offered free dessert for the longer than usual wait. Overall, a good experience. Terrible service!! Waited 40 minutes for our bar drinks and the waitress didn't even bring us water (which I had to ask for multiple times). The waitress also never asked if we wanted any appetizers while we waited for our drinks. Other tables that arrived after us received their bar drinks AND food before us. When I brought this to the managers attention she could not look me in the eye, most likely because I am bi-racial which I've heard about this place multiple times. She said all she could do was apologize because they were busy. She did not seem to care one bit. I see why this place is receiving bad reviews and I'm sure they'll be selling soon. read more
